This was one of my most memorable experiences while in SG! I remember the food, fun and fellowship in your home like it was yesterday! The video turned out great - it was worth the wait for the finished product! Good edits. You definitely captured the essence and energy of that day! Thank you!🙏🏾 - The Naked Doctor
Thanks to you, DeeCee! 'til our next feast! Hopefully in Chicago ❤️
if you liked the pork skin, and enjoy casual drinks with friends, try the fried chicken skin to snack on (sometimes, i just pair it with rice and eat it for lunch lol) or maybe something even better, sisig.
More filo foods to try sir! 😊
I suggests sisig, kare-kare, kaldereta and more... 🤭😁😍
New subscriber, interesting vlog. Watching from Connecticut USA
@@ryanrhea1 thank you! See you on the next video 😄
Black Panther is still alive! Wakanda forever!

Yesss...
Patrick Beverley 😂

The good thing about us Filipino we always introduce our very delightful food to everyone and they just loved it..a million thumbs up for our kababayan👌👍
🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Filipina present here. I love tilapia..... kakagutom na naman.

This is the Video of Respect, Unity, Sharing, gratitude of being a human being.
The lady so humble and I love the way she talks
Because she live in uk
*Noticed that, too. I like her temperament.*
Filipinos love eating and no matter how simple the foods when it is eaten with the people who matters to you and your friends it becomes the most delicious food in the world
So true
yes
Are we going to ignore "Calamansoy" because it's also correct lol
wittiest comment I've seen😄
That was a cute version, gusto ko yun. And in Kapampangan, I think the term Soy, is like an endearment or respect use for men. I'm not sure, please, kapatid na mga Kapampangan, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
A new term like it.
@@thepinoychoppingboard1012 *soy* is like *bro* in kapampangan 😊
Nice combination! Calamsoy! tagalog = toyomansi
Feeling hungry watching, really want to try Filipino food love from Cameroon 🇨🇲
yess that true I am filipino sister
Black and Filipino, the love, passion, dance, family oriented and sense of humor is so similar 💖💖💖 I love me some black culture 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love this mix of people. So open and having an educated conversation about food is so refreshing.
Here in the Philippines, we are the same as the Black Community, all of us are family: The Boodle Fights symbolizes you dropped your guard to accept and be with your friends and treat them as your family.
Peace
I love when he said he doesnt like okra but still tried it for the culture . Very respectful unlike alot of people lol
The Man wearing a white shirt looks like Chadwick Boseman. Wakanda!!!
You can't fool us Chadwick Boseman.... ❤️❤️❤️
The many different reactions people get from the durian fruit amazes me so much! Personally, it tastes and smells like onions and mango! 😂
i personaly love how it smells and i love the taste😂💖
Exactly! it really smells like onion..
I miss the world where everything is still normal😭.
HI FRIENDSHIP 🐷🇯🇵
Me too
Leon Esperanza, I feel you..🙏⛪❤
Hey, eating is not prohibited.
Great array of Filipino foods laid out here and the guests were so engaging and polite about everything on the boodle table ;)! Kudos to FoodieMomma for preparing this for our foreigner friends.
However, I have to comment that mangosteen is not really indigenous to the Philippines (the first time I managed to try this fruit was in Bangkok, Thailand in the 90s). Yes, we can see mangosteen being sold in groceries all over the Philippines but if you're talking about if we grew up eating this, it's a negative. And if it is grown somewhere in Mindanao now, then that's only NOW.
Coming from the northern island of Luzon, during my kid days, the only way to sample durian then was as durian candy from Davao or some province there in Mindanao. It was not indigenously grown in Luzon except perhaps by a few fruit tree afficionados. Again, my first taste of fresh durian was in Bangkok, Thailand decades ago.
Of course, these 2 fruits might be the only one available for purchase in the Singapore market when this video was shot. But I would go more for "santol (cotton fruit)", which Singapore also sells, guyabano (soursop), and even atis (custard apple) fruits as indigenously Filipino. These days, they are hard to source even in the Philippines. The funny thing, dragon fruit which is not indigenously Filipino, is popularly being grown and sold in Luzon now - har har ;)!
I disagree with you about mangosteen not being native to the Philippines. I am 47 years old now. My dad who used to work in Davao brought mangosteen every time he went home when we were kids.
@@arnie3631 I did mention that mangosteen can be sourced in Mindanao but it was not native to the Philippines since even pre-Spanish or Spanish times ;). Most likely we got a seed or seedling of it when Thailand started exporting it to the Philippines a few decades ago ;)!
Love them seeing making honest compliments and commenting every bite 😍💕😋😋😋😋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Great to see you guys
❤️❤️❤️
Somebody notify Hollywood there’s black panther clone hiding in Singapore 😁

I am just curious how the African people produce this kind of sound in their language 9:13 it is just so fascinating. I have tried to replicate this and failed horribly :D
In linguistics we call it click sounds. Common in some African languages
We really dropped the ball on calling it "calamansoy"
😅
Imma start calling it calamansoy 😅

Whoah! These are very cultured people eating our food! Such a joy watching them dissect this experience! Very cool!
I have my african business partners they Loves Filipino foods..
Yummy food..good to see that they also appreciate pinoy foods...
6:42 bruhh the way he explained
The thing with Filipino "spicy" is, is not that spicy while you are eating but right at the end when you stop eating is when the spice will kick in, accumulated from all those bites you took when you were eating, and the good thing about it is the spiciness lingers...
when yt recommend this vid i immediately click, not because of the food 😂but because i saw black panther on him😔🙏🙏
Men I'm starting to starving when I see these kinds of dishes! but I really enjoyed your vlog thanks for introducing our Filipino dishes 😉😉😉😉😉👍👍👍👍👍

At first i thought i saw my hottie baby Chadwick come back to life in SG
Wait ....Black Panther is in the house.... #WakandaForever
🤤.....
Know they have an idea for their Christmas gathering...they can do something new this year.
It would be a great conversation surprise too for their families who haven't experienced noodle feast or boodle fight feast....
😎
“Black people” description is a bit off. Don’t know what should be a more appropriate word to use for them but saying black people is abit off for me.
maybe african-americans?
@Kay Flip it’s better than being INsensitive. And oh, btw, don’t bro me, we aren’t bro’s.
They say Filipinos had most fare share in using social media all over the world.
So the vloggers gain monetary earnings by using Filipinos thru reacting everything in youtube or other social media platforms
Or vlogging about Pinoys, Philippines.
Its nice to know
Calamansoy sounds better!
The man with curly hair and necklace is so funny. I enjoyed watching you guys!
Nagutom ako. Nagsaing tuloy ako at nagprito ng isda, gumawa ng sawsawan then kumain. After the pandemic, I will try to do the boodle fight with our German friends.
Thanks for this video.
Thank you so much!❤️
I clicked like because it is a Filipino content, I took the bait, yummy, now I’m hooked 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✌🏼
How to make salted egg:
1. Measure 1 liter water to ½ cup salt.
2. Boil brine until salt liquifies, cool it down.
3. Put brine and eggs in a jar or bottle (you can use chicken or duck egg), make sure the eggs are submerged in the brine. *get a small ziplock bag and fill it half with water. Use it as a weight.*
4. Wait for 3-6 weeks (the longer the better)
5. Boil eggs for 30-40 mins on a low-medium fire.
6. Enjoy!
Gosh my mouth is watering. It more delicious when eat with more friends or family members.
May the god will blessed you all the people in the world spread love from Philippines
