It’s wonderful to see you living your life with your likeminded community. It’s important to see that there are alternative ways to live that aren’t just working your life away. Your van really is letting you explore further afield and I appreciate you taking us along for the journey! That festival looked amazing!
What a wonderful festival. It indeed reminds me of the 60's & 70's hippy days in the USA. So much to see. Thank you for sharing this awesome experience.
I used to LOVEM LOVE FESTiVALS. Few , in all my 50 years of festival attending, did I ever find one as great as this one. Closest i ever got was a Rennaisance festival in New Jersey which was a 3 hour drive to attend. My traveling days are over and I only get to go is as a fly on the wall trip with people such as you. People that share their fu n with the bed ridden me..thatk you..I hope you had as great a time as I used to with my children and then my grandchildren. XOX
This is super! It looks like a wonderful festival that I would love even at my age. It makes me very happy to see the counter culture still vibrant. And you had pastries!
Hi Ben & Emily--The Shambala Festival was absolutely fantastic and a real blast to watch on UA-cam, so I can only imagine that it was even better in person. Lots of arts and crafts, music, and food to sample and enjoy. Thanks for sharing it! Jenny
Great video brought back memories of all the festivals I've been to. I'm happy to live vicariously through you as I get fomo when so much is going on. You guys looked the part.
Reminds me of Stonehenge, and Glastonbury back in the day before monetizing everything was a thing. Wonderful crazy days and nights with good friends, many who have now passed away. Golden days and golden memories. Wistful thoughts of youth and carefree happiness
How wonderful that you showed us so much of this Festival. It looked absolutely fantastic, so friendly and fun for you all. I wish we were your age again, but at least we have our own memories of the days gone by....looking forward to your next video, thanks so much....
What a lovely festival! It looks like a fantastic place to go, bit like Pilton in the 70s or as some say Glastonbury. Living the dream, you are truly lucky. I love watching you. Thank you for showing us around.
Lovely to see you both and the other boaters that I watch too. Is Lauren and Adam’s van complete now, they didn’t show us the full van make over. Great festival it looks like you had fabulous fun. It would be nice to take a peek in their van. I take it this was when Alan was at Emily’s mum’s house when you made the decision to let her live there permanently. Your video about Alan was so sad. Take care. xxxx
Thanks for watching! 🤗 Yes, I think their van is nearly done! Most of their updates are over on their instagram page 😊 We had discussed the idea of Alan moving to my Mum's when we dropped her off before the festival and said we would see if she improved while we were away. She did and settled really quickly and started eating better almost right away, so yes, then we made the decision it would be best for her to stay ❤️ Missing her so much!
So what did you do in the War, Dad? I was exempted from military service due to my specialised occupation, son. Oh yeah, what was that then, Dad? Crumpet hole driller.
Brilliant, it's the English version of a Powwow. It reminded me of my youth as an art student, all wonderful times going to festivals. It's so wonderful to get a glimpse of all that creative energy and wonderful fellowship. Thank you for sharing. Lots of ❤ from Arizona.
Thank you for giving us a taste of the Shambala. It seemed really chilled out. I loved the drone display & it must be even better to see it live. I grew up in the sixties so I love the hippy vibe!
Well done guys for your water solutions!!! Festival looked great. So nice to seeing you enjoy time with friends. Shame about the wind, but hey ho. I think the theme was pink!!! Thank you so much for sharing. Take care and stay safe. Give a hug to Alan when you see her next. 😊xxx
@@BenandEmilyAlso, Russell Brand would stand out like a sore thumb at that fest, because he's a complete phoney.... He's just a filthy fascist, masquerading as some kind of spiritual, philosophical man... Probably paid by the Kremlin, like so many others....
have to admit i werent going to watch this episode. festivals arent my thing but thought i would watch a couple minutes and see. watched the whole thing and what an amazing festival and you guys did a brilliant job filming it.
Hooley dooley! That was a magnificent festival! A little superior to the free festivals I used to go to in the late 70s back in East Anglia, but also kinda the same cool people
Hope no people got hurt making this video ! Bit windy . When I saw the Helter-Skelter I had an immediate memory of one exactly the same size and everything at Porthcawl , a Welsh seaside town amusement area many years ago . I wonder if it is the same one ! Of course it was always raining rather than windy there , lol .
THANK'S FOR TAKING ME ALONG. IT WAS GREAT! WHEN I WAS YOUNG I WENT TO FESTIVALS AND CONCERTS. NEVER MADE IT TO WOODSTOCK. I REMEMBER ONE CONCERT WE WENT TO THEY HAD TENTS SENT UP FOR THOSE WHO OVERDOSED ON DRUGS AND SOME PEOPLE RAN AROUND NAKED. CRAZY BE SAFE AND BLESSINGS 🙏💐😂🩵🩷✌️🫶
lol last night i was watching a live camera on a narrow boat but will not say what one lol well on that feed i managed to catch a glimps of your boads as it passed your. im over on the west coast of canada 8 hrs behind you. it was cool to finaly have the live camera boat pass boats i know
Not watched last 2 videos of you guys cause … used to watch with my partner on a Sunday… but had a break up. Can’t face watching without her… without sounding depressing…. Been with ya from the start so bit emotional to watch without her. I’m sure will watch full videos soon. Onwards and upwards ect.. nice to see ya posting more regularly… get yourselves back to Llangollen canal !! ❤x
We keep a little Trangia stove + small bottle of meths in our van for any gas-related emergencies. Plus you’ve got to try Ramona’s Heavenly Houmous, it’s the best! Happy travels and thanks
You look so different with lipstick on 😊 watch out beni I'm coming for her😂 looks like you had a real good time there. The cakes look nice what you were tucking into.
Watching again on my phone.....❤❤ You both made me feel so jubilantly young again lol... Paint me pink and concentrate on having FUN. LOVE IT😊😅❤ Ps 80 yo
Has your water tank got an air vent on top ? It allows the air out faster when the water is hurtling down the inlet pipe. Mine has one but its underslung. It may not be desirable inside. 🤔

Wow, that looks pretty interesting. Thanks for the insights! Be safe.
Cool, now your cat doesn't have to sit alone while you're doing the free lifestyle thing. So happy for Alan.
She was rather inconvenient
Cats love being alone. They are the free lifestyle experts.
Absolutely loved this episode. Thank you
WoW I gotta go to Shambala ❤ What a beautiful fessie!!
The tedious part of making crumpets is drilling all those holes in them. It takes dedication and skill.
So what did you do in the War, Dad?
I was exempted from military service due to my specialised occupation, son.
Oh yeah, what was that then, Dad?
Crumpet hole driller.

What fun!
Yes Ben! My crumpets were edible but what a mission to make them!
Haha yeah exactly 😅 at least yours were edible 😋
What a fantastic festival 😍
Reminds me of Castlefest. We need more of this stuff in Britain.
Looked fun 😊
Great video, great festival! Glad that you included some footage of my giant Libert Caps :)
Thank you for giving us a taste of the Shambala. It seemed really chilled out. I loved the drone display & it must be even better to see it live. I grew up in the sixties so I love the hippy vibe!

What a fabulous time you must have had at Shambala. That drone display was phenomenal. I've never seen anything like it.
Love that thumbnail so cute
Put your guitar amp at one end of a long hose, and a mic at the other. Tube reverb!!! 😉
Hahah! 🤩

Henge!!! Best band in our Solar system! I saw their last concert in Prague and it was an intergalactic sensation!
This festival looks fab.
I've done the early Bluedot Festivals, but I really love the look of this one.

Looks like good fun
Has your water tank got an air vent on top ?
It allows the air out faster when the water is hurtling down the inlet pipe.
Mine has one but its underslung. It may not be desirable inside. 🤔
I had endorsed a micro dose when I came across the situation
Incredibly it took my breath away
Flamboyantly wild selection.
It’s all happening
Love it
lol Benny " probs just stopped for a Sausage roll" 😂 As for the urination device marvelous invention 😆
It's look 👀 as the 70 flower 🌼 power time 🎉🎉🎉
🥳
If you put a trumpet mouthpiece on the end of that water contraption, Benny could play a tune on it 🎺🎺🎺
Wickham always have posh wash showers, the van looks different have i missed something
Love the dungarees, Emily stuffing her face 😂😂
I've also tried to make crumpets! Didn't turn out very well. Not as many air holes as there should have been so a bit dense 😂
Like a ruddy time warp. Very sixties hippie.
Yes it’s kinda like trip back to the 1960’s man 😂🎉❤
SUGGESTION:
send Allan a dirty tee shirt that you have worn . That way she has your scent with her ..
Good vlog nice to see you had a good time that festival not my thing but glad you all had good time xx gadgit xx
Heya!! Was wondering if maybe benny could do a baking episode and show us how he makes sourdough on a boat? 🌞
Wonderful festival, and lovely food, thanks for sharing 😊
Did you all know each other before YT ?
