- In this video you'll see a modified Audi RS6 Avant C5 with 2 hybrid turbos installed. The 4.2L V8 now produces 600HP and 840NM of torque! Pretty huge improvement compared to the 450HP and 580NM stock. I think it sounds brutal and I do like the crackles!

That backfiring is a tune setting a lot of aftermarket tuners offer for the Audis. The Na v8 that’s in the RS5 sounds amazing with it.

@RS4 B5 ja ik had vooral veel last van de schakeling module. Die begaf het te vaak! Kost ongeveer 160 eu!
@RS4 B5 klopt! Zo zijn ze eenmaal, niet alle autos zijn perfect. Toch heeft deze rs6 een betrouwbare motor, in vergelijking met de rs6 v10.

@RS4 B5 was this not offered in manual? If not then we have to campaign and convince Audi to produce more manual RS/S vehicle. They are unfortunately becoming a dying breed. I avoid buying any type of automatic to not set the demand for automatic cars. All my cars (total 5) inmy lifetime have been manual
@Jeroen oh yes, you do, there is a few of them with manual gear boxes in Poland:)
@Jeroen yeah, it's not easy, how ever there is a few guys, that have experience already in doing that, it costs about 5000€ as I remember, I heard about a few projects with the manual gearbox taken out of C5 2.5TDI

RS4 B5 How exactly is the transmission modified? Is it a new box? Where can you you find the parts to modify it. The C5 RS6 transmission is the biggest limiting factor when it comes to reliable power.
A turbo upgrade-C5 RS6 has always been attractive to me, since it’s one of the only older RS cars that we have access to in the USA....
"But remember these cars are terrible expensive" - that's why i'm driving s6c5, not rs.
I had one of these back in 2004.
It was a 2002 car.
Remaped to 520.
Broke gearbox!
My local Audi dealer wanted £7000 for a new box.
Found a gearbox specialist who rebuilt it for £2000 ! And gauranted it up to 600 BHP.
SO bigger turbos intercoolers decat and 600 BHP .....
My only advice to anyone is don't buy on a tight budget !

The tiptronic makes that c5 rs6 unlikeable to me, had the c5 s6 tuned to 366hp and 466nm but the tiptronic made me sell it cause it's so goddamn slow, same c5 s6 with a manual is 1second faster than the one with a tiptronic and thats a shame realy.

They were 450-480hp stock. Not hard to believe 600hp with new turbos, intercoolers, exhaust and mapping.
@@haukurthorsmarason5267 well i have a 600hp car and it doesnt look that slow at all. and a original rs6 is faaster that that in the video. just look at it, its just have some sounds but it doesnt even "lift" the car , that it does in" 500hp " that looks more like a broken and tired 4.2l bi turbo original shit.
