we had led paint , kids today don't know how good we had it ,.😄😄😄
Most of the rides that used to be at Kennywood are at Idlewild Park in Ligonier, PA.
The little girl (who was the focus of the film) is about my age, Now we are all grey haired old folks!
I was 3 in 1970. I don't think I went to Kennywood until I was about 7 or 8. Yes we are getting pretty old now.
Ah, the Bouncer! One of my favorites as a kid. Precisely where it was whenever I rode it...near the windmill. I was so sad when I saw it was GONE-ZO
The little Girl peeping into Kenny Kangaroo's costume @ 2:00 is funny . Who is in there ?

I sure hope that guy isn't still sitting in the cannon somewhere because they forgot press the launch button. 😂
LOL ,, thats a good one! Thanks for commenting .. we had the exact same thought! Sometimes the roll of 8mm home film just ran out at the most inopportune time!
I was hoping to catch a glimpse of my in-laws, they worked there in 70.
Legend says he is STILL in THERE TODAY!, A bony skeleton that will (Given the DRAMATIC loss of mass..) be able to fly from West Mifflin to West View IF the cannon was fired off now! Now that West View Park is gone, He'd land on the roof of an abandoned K Mart! 😜
That is probably Hugo Zacchini being shot out of the canon. I saw this act. There would be a loud explosion sound, smoke, and Hugo flying across the lagoon into a net. It was pretty cool.
What is frighting is that these kids are almost at retirement age.

This cant be from 1970. Kenny Kangaroo didn't debut until 1974.
We can only go by the date on the film which was developed in March 71, because the park wouldn't be open in March we assumed it was 1970, beyond that we have no guess on the discrepancy
No worries - it’s a quality video (among the many you’ve posted) I’ve just subscribed to your channel so I look forward to more
Thank you! @@Asheffo
