A lot of things in Wuwa are disappointing when you come from pgr to wuwa. Music, boss fights, sound design etc direction of boss fights. The fact tat pgr boss fights are story fights that mean something. It was a experience
For me Jué's fight is the most beautiful but the least fun overall, for the game's story it's a great battle but for a weekly not so much, if they use Jué for some special mode I hope they add new attacks and let him a little faster, his aggression I think is already good enough.
This is more of an exploration of some boss fights that Kuro has made so far. I think a dialogue is needed to see if we can reach a point where we can find out why some of their bosses are amazing, and why some don't hit. And this could be an exploration of how we view bosses beyond PGR and WuWa. Either way, in terms of action combat, we are totally eating! That said, I hope they put in a challenge mode for these weekly bosses, that'd be hype.
Having PGR boss in Wuwa, that kind of average boss gonna make those hybrid Hoyo player run. Imagine fighting boss will full affix and just die on tick dmg like voodoo on reflection mode. Imma enjoy the suffering stream more.
Lightcrusher interests me more than Jue. Jue was probably made as a "cinematic boss" for the spectacle but I hope they couple that with more interesting mechanics. Especially for a Sentinel.
Yeah i think they just hesitant to put more challenging boss for daily grind, I assume they dont want to scare casual or something? Just need hologram for scar goat, jue and dreamless 😢
.....Its Daily/Weekly Grind even in PGR (Global) the daily grind boss aren't that hard as hell like theirs no Phase 2 for Lamia in PCC, most hardest difficulty are either in Events or other modes not in the Daily Grind, the reason why they do it because of how time consuming it is to fight the most hardest difficulty boss (especially if you don't have good char etc for DPS check), like i spent once 3hrs to complete the last stage of NRP some of my char. are kinda bad (like i got no Hyperreal in my fireteam and most of my S rank are just SS) and i was being stubborn to really finish the last stage. Heck in WuWa, you got Scar now in illusive Realm and its being nerfed because some people is being slapped hard on his hardest difficulty? I just cleared him because i was using Jinhsi with her sig. weapon and got a bellborne echo so i simply flew and constantly nuking the f out of him but almost died because of how aggressive he was and his dmg are almost all 1ohk. In short for grinding purposes (materials) the boss shouldn't be hard as hell, put it other game mode like Illusive Realm Scar, for Jue i doubt they will put him in other mode because they have to rework his moveset overall to make Jue a fair fight, cause atm most his moveset are just for cinematic purposes.
Yeah I didn't want to get Jinhsi cuz of her being a broadblade user so when I fought this boss for the first time (after story quest) to get a echo for my data bank, it was hella annoying. The boss was running away most of the time than fighting. I don't want Kuro to give him, time manipulation or whatever else you said in your video but imo a fight with the sentinel should be a fight and not some tom and jerry chase 🥲. It was the only thing which I didn't liked about this fight. Specially because I'm playing on mobile and don't think that playing on mobile is a problem cuz I've cleared every hologram in game and as a 5 finger + Gyro PUBG Mobile veteran, I have no problem in pressing multiple button in mobile but I couldn't find fun in Jue fight that I was looking for. I think that Scar Boss fight is the best out every weekly boss fight.
Time manipulation and wotnot was just me throwing ideas at a wall. But yeah, the point is that the fight is annoying and not as fun as a, well a fight. Also quite impressive that you went through all of this on mobile. I can't imagine myself doing that!
@@Smorticle It's really not that hard to play on mobile. For us mobile player, playing on pc is extremely difficult. So please don't worry about it. It's just a matter of preference.
I actually agree with this. An easy solution I can think off is making the grapple unlimited. If you can grapple Jue anytime you want, the fight will be more active. The better option would be to update Jue to lower to the ground even more.
Prior to getting changli, this fight was super annoying but I think if you have jinshi or changli, the aerial combat in their kit make this very easy to deal with (with proper investment ofc). I’m not a huge fan of this boss because the camera mainly, especially since I am a iPad player and it seems easier than even some open world bosses if you have changli or jinshi (then again, aerial combat has a lot of safe spots where the monsters cannot hit you even if they’re swinging at you, so it makes a lot of the bosses easier). Kuro has the reputation of revisiting old content and revamping or improving it so hopefully they can add more move sets or make this fight more dynamic, but I’m just hoping for a new fight all together.
i agree. jue needs a new move set, a more agressive style and just no the boss but i want the arena to be affected as well like in the cutscene we got to fly around while dodging those missiles
Jue needs to be a hot waifu if that were to happen. Actually, you might have a point because if we follow how PGR works, that could mean we get a playable version of Jue! XD
This is even more hilarious considering we DO have time manipulation bosses in PGR already since near the start. Both the Alpha frames, the Hetero-Twins, Ishma-i-mean-Celestial Being, Huaxu (reworked), Sketchers, and even throw in the Enemy Lee Hyperreal you fight in new Hanying patch. But you know, what i think is the real issue with the Jue fight? It feels like Kuro took a look at Parry-ball from PGR (Otherwise also known as Hetero Hive-Mother, but who ever calls her that ahah) and shoved that into WW. Darts around the map too much, spends only half of it's rotations while actually within the playing field, barely can actually hit you (your biggest enemy will the be the timer instead), can bug out and remain out of your range/playing field for minutes on end, will move away literally seconds after you can finish your dashes (wirebug in WW case) leaving you barely any time to DPS, and loves to leave your nuke range right as you set up for it/proc it. Fighting Jue in WW reminds me of fighting Parry-ball, mostly in the harder contents like (the formerly not-so-very-nerfed) Norman War, where the real boss in the cancerous deeper mines was the stage hazards which is on a timer and WILL 1-tap you at the speed of an oncoming train. Or in the new-to-global-server Clash Reflection mode, where it has the 10-12th position on some of the Boss Tracks on CN and it's a massive pain to deal with, since it can just stall your 120s time limit for the max rewards. And before you reply that "But Riot fight came before and had the exact same problems during the launch days of PGR", the only reason Riot gets away because he will actually lock onto you and spam attacks like a jackass, unlike Jue or parry-ball who are next to no real threat themselves, but kills you through boredom. And this boredom definitely killed my interest in logging in the last 2 weeks in WW.
Jué is just a flying Vassago and I hate it 😂 I just want to justify the fight being like that because its basically Rover vs their pet that doesn't want to harm
Jue's fight is like the DIvine Dragon bossfight in Sekiro. Not the best fight as a boss fight, and quite annoying mechanically to be honest. But it's the spectacle send off to close down a story. And to be honest, just like the Divine Dragon, it was goose bumps inducing. Specially with Jinhsi and Jue's prefight trashtalk, the cinematography, the music, the beautiful arena, and most importantly the context of the whole thing. Though I agree with your sentiment, I think it's important to try and see what the intent was of the creator/designer. Because if we say that a boss not being as "good" as hol6 Thundering Memphis means that its bad, then that implies that the definition of what makes a good boss is to be the pinnacle of a challenge. Therefore implying that any kind of boss that does not follow this philosophy is bad. But that's not true, and here's why Because throughout the Demon Of Hatred, The Genichiro, The Owl and The Isshin. There's the Armored Warrior, the Monkeys, The (Strongest) Mist Noble, and The Divine Dragon. What this means is that the intent of every boss is not to be as challenging as possible. Sometimes they're meant to be a fun challenge with an unexpeceted solution, something the game didn't line up itself to have. Sometimes they're meant to be a puzzle, to make you think instead of challenging your skills. Sometimes they're just too strong, and they're just truly the strongest. Sometimes they're meant to be a spectacle fight to make you appreciate the sight and scenery, for you to reflect on your journey thus far, and not about the exchanging of blows itself. The reason for this is simple: it's so that you can keep the player engage throughout the game without burning them out by giving them the same kind of food, but just spicier each time. So yes, Jué might be the worst boss in the game, but I don't think that's a bad thing.
I still don't understand how fight Jue fights tbh. Sometimes I can knock him down in a second when he is trying to fly, sometimes I can't. Overall, Jue boss fight is easy enough for overworld since I can burst it down using Havoc Rover so I don't really mind it. But, I am afraid if they decide to put Jue as TOA boss since we get Scar in TOA. Hopefully Kuro will change Jue moveset in TOA.
For me, I dont like fighting Lamia. It's pretty annoying and boring to me. Fighting Trailblazer, Primal Projection, Rosetta, Alpha, Lithos, and Voodoo are my favorite boss fights by far! Especially Trailblazer and Primal Projection during Babel Tower at max difficulty!
