The best thing about owning a JP15 (which your earlier videos convinced me to get) is that I've been able to dismiss any GAS toward buying another high end guitar... until now. Great intro Cooper and watching this video is going to cost me a lot of money.
I just ordered a BFR Majesty 7 string guitar as it really feels amazing and has tons of features. Probably best artist guitar since Petrucci designed it and he is master of shred and not just an overpriced guitar with an artist name and art on it.
Dang this sig serie sells out like hotcakes despite the price tag. Get ready for that royalty checks, John! You definitely earn it after denied a creative input by the "I" company and not extended in their roster.

I have a JP 15, got it the year they came out, play it every day. Still today the whammy bar and the whole bridge system doesn't work worth a damn. Strings go way out of tune if you use it. Just system that doesn't work well.
Still waiting for Djont Eightrucci model.
I picked up a John Petrucci mystic dream JP6 back in 2009. Love that guitar. I'm currently saving for a majesty.
Majesty is more comfortable and lighter ;)

I talk about the patch later in the video. It's the new firmware 16 factory preset. The lead is the orange channel.

Depends what you're looking for, tbh. They're different guitars for sure. Both very versatile. But if you don't need piezo, probably the sabre!
