Ive played many brands but this one is not overpriced even though they are expensive. Their quality is amazing.
This factory tour reinforces they have genuinely made mass production high quality guitars. A lot of hands on work is involved. Made in the USA. Well worth the price for the product they produce. Amazing instruments!!
1:14 these two particular winders made every single MusicMan pickups. Aaaand we never get to see it.
Music Man’s camera guy🤷🏼♀️
why is there never a shot of the thing you guys are talking about, just a whole bunch of pointing off camera
Thanks for this series Fluff! I just watched all 4 with my wife, who enjoyed seeing where and how the JP15 7-string she got me for my 50th birthday last year was built.
LOVED this series. Thank you, Fluff. Been hoping for someone to do a more recent factory walk through than the 12-year-old one that exists here on UA-cam.
Nice facial tours
Thanks or this, but just a bit of constructive criticism for your filmer. When they are talking about a cool machine or process it would be really cool if we got some footage of said machine or process. Don't get me wrong. we love to see your pretty face, but it would be cool to see the pickup winder as well.
Yeah wasn’t my camera guy
Very very cool!!!!! Now I know why Music Man basses look, feel, and sound amazing and why they aren't cheap BUT ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! Thank you Leo Fender for starting a phenomenal legacy and Ernie Ball for keeping it alive!!!
I used to get factory tours all the time in various industries. I was a sales rep for 13 years. It’s amazing how similar some factories can be that are in totally unrelated industries. I’m a maker/tinkerer by nature and seeing how things get built is totally fascinating to me. I’ve even implemented things I’ve seen into my work spaces. I miss that about that job sometimes. But that’s about all I miss lol.
"Wow" counter: 13
Also, Fluff sig..cool!
CHUG every time Fluff says, “Wow!”
In all fairness, I was repeatedly saying "WOW:, myself, just watching!
Loved seeing the recently announced Dustin Kensrue BFR run in this! Gauges when this was filmed!
WOW's, and TONS of WOW's continue from the Fluff!! Wow!!!
In all fairness, I was repeatedly saying wow, myself, just watching the video!
@@SoMDHarleyRider the wow factor in an exponential form-wow!
This has been one of the coolest series in a while from anyone. Has me thinking Ernie Ball might be worth a shot.
I think this is the best content that Fluff has ever released, but the videographer focusing solely on Ryan and whomever he is talking to it really frustrating. You know there was so much cool little process things going on, and things that would be interesting to see on video. All this was missed in each of these vids. The camera person just ignoring so much great content is annoying.
the guy who film just film people talking :\
I was getting the impression that there were a lot of trade secrets that they could talk about but not actually show. i was really disapointed when they didn't show the ancient pup winder.
I was thinking the same thing. It would have been nice to see more of the process. However, they may have stipulated that a minimal amount of the actual work be filmed, due to proprietary process of equipment concerns. Also, sometimes there are issues with having employees signing waivers to be on camer for publicly released videos, etc.
@@SoMDHarleyRider I disagree. It's a factory tour not a how to video.
@@doknox Thanks for that revalation! 🤣
😂
The fluff signature is coming from the foreshadowing in these videos!
Came to the comments to say the same.
Sorry i wish you camera person would actually show the things you’re talking about
Why is the camera almost always on fluff instead of the topic of the conversation?
thanks for doing this one!! loved every second of it!
So we get to see the shipping department tomorrow, yeah? LOL
Enjoyed watching this series of EB, I feel like although I can't afford a EBMM, I understand a little bit more why they are priced the way they are, and it makes it a little more worth it knowing that if I were to buy one, they are gonna be nearly perfect out of the box.
Fluff, any new developments on the Rabea model that you can share? 😁
what an awesome place to work.
Great this is Company Number 1 ❤
Who is operating the camera here he never takes the camera off of the two guys never shows any of the things that they’re trying to show us. He just keeps the camera pointed at those two dudes the whole time.
Camera was being operated by Music Man’s guy. Sorry.
love this series ...... I've yet to put my hands on a musicman in a store & go 'jesus, you'd think they'd have QC'd the fretwork before this shipped'. There are a few manufacturers who could do with paying the same care for the same money on their pre-shipping QC (rhymes with Shmibson for one!)
I love EBMM guitars, specially JP models and Lukather, BUT, now I understand why some of the guitars I got brand new was had some issues because of quality check - now I know there is no QC before shipping.. few months ago I got my another JP15 in trans black, there are issues with pickups height - the holes for pickups are different level, so direct mounted pickups are to close to strings, so to me with my prefered sting action 1mm or 1.25mm on both sides is not even playable on higher notes because of the magnetic field of pickups too close to strings, so there are just two solutions - drill deeper holes for pickups which I dont like to touch almost brand new guitar, or have a higher string action which I dont like too, so I have to sell the axe.. yesterday I got a new JP15 in Purple Nebula which is almost perfect, fun part is because the purple one is done right it has slightly less gain ofcourse compare to black one... also on one of my previous majesty guitar were 2 higher frets higher so again there were issues with playability.. SO, guys in Music Man factory, please, pay attention to quality check, its not always nice to get brand new guitar for a serious amount of money (in EU JP15 is between 5-6 tousands Dollars :) Also please, stop doing that stupid MONO cases with guitars, for that amoutn of money should be always a hard case, better the case you used with BFR, even when they were heavy, they were premium and durable.. :)
This is a great series man. Watched em all thus far!
"this is the section" then showing not the section but fluff.. Show the action not the peopl
Lots os WOWs
Awesome
Music men, asseeembllle!
Awesome!
WOW !
So a Fluff signature Armada with a Honduran mahogany body and name brand pickups, eh?
Would have loved to have seen everything discussed. Not sure if this is because of an NDA or bad filming, but it would have been far more interesting.
Umm.. so the Fluff model? When?
lol cool cool guitars... MAN THAT RACK SYSTEM lol.. so funny
Hey lets talk about these really old, cool pickup winders but just have the camera frame us and not show the machines doing what they do at all.
Wasn’t my camera guy🤷🏼♀️
@@RiffsAndBeards Shit. That means you can't even fire him. Lol
The camera work left A LOT to be desired!! I know it was a Music Man employee running the camera, but he didn’t show a dang thing?! And I’m betting none of it was trade secrets or NDA type stuff. Extremely frustrating. 😔
On minute 7 of this video they say "talking about QC" doing electronic and physical tests, wellll i just bought the Dustin Kensrue black honey 1 of only 50 guitars, and guess what...came with bad silence circuit... so dissapointed, waiting for music men to send new part for the local distributor
The guitar itself is amazing but dont say you do QC 😂😂
This series is great but at 9:00 he goes "every single one of our frets is leveled, crowned, and buffed" like isnt that the standard procedure?
Unfortunately not in a lot of places. They do the minimum.
You would think. Pretty much every guitar I own needed some sort of fretwork or setup. A lot of companies claim to do all this stuff but they dont.
Played a lot of fender custom shops with sharp frets, so no
U guys telling me that companies dont do fretjobs??
please new jp6 colours
I want a Music Man, but can only afford a Sterling :(
WHAT A BAD CAMERA MAN. HORRENDOUS
Beautiful instruments. But you need to fire your camera man. Is there a reason why you're not showing what you're working on? This isn't exactly a factory tour.
Fluff is just struggling to provide any real energy to this. Thank goodness MM had a killer host. Nice tour, looks like a clean shop.
I was hung over AS FUCK ok
"We don't have a QC department"... Oooooh is that why you sold me a defective Majesty 7 strings, that is still defective to this day... Is this why your European "customer service" is literally non existing?.....
Great job guys... 👏.... 👏......... 👏..............
Having every department have their own person who makes sure that their job is done properly makes a ton more sense than only having one person look at it at the end. Your experience is one thing. And there will always be things going wrong. That doesnt mean that Music Man guitars arent still some of the most high quality guitars on the market. I dont own one but I know tons of people who do so I am not just a fanboy.
Guys just snitch on each other basically 😂
Robots are not building these we are human but believe that this company stands behind their product. Send it in and it will be repaired. Hermen is the man!
