Resolving this port not found in Arduino is very easy. Just follow the following steps and there you go... So let's begin!
Step 1. You need to install a driver for your Arduino. So for that you just need to download .exe file from the following Link:
sparks.gogo.co.nz/ch340.html
Step 2. After downloading the CH340 driver just run the .exe by double-clicking it.
Step 3. You need to click on the install button for installing the Driver as shown in the video.
Step 4. Now after the installation, open Arduino and then just simply connect your Arduino Uno with your Laptop/ Desktop. Then set the port number to com3, as shown in the video! And there you go!!

When i click install, it says : the drive is succesfully Pre-installed in advanced, and nothing happens can you tell the solution for it

On clicking install, it says "The driver is Pre-installed in advance" still can't select the port. I uninstalled and installed it again but that too didn't worked. Do you have any solution for this?

@@azcwazpaxc6739 hi, it turned out that my board had fried a diode just under the usb socket, i replaced it with a common throught hole part , and it was fine.....

THANK U SO MUCH ................ The main issue with all other solutions was, FTDI driver is for "ORIGINAL" ARDUINO boards.

sir normal mobile c type cable is not working , Arduino Uno R4 wifi i am using , Is there is any special cable used for arduino uno r4 wifi model , please tell tried all drivers but not working . which cable i have to use.
I have followed the instructions, but the port is still undetected (not listed)
After connecting -Arduino and laptop- 'using USB', Go to Device Manager > tap on Ports>> if Arduino is visible then right click on it > choose properties> port settings>advanced> Choose COM Port number in the bottom.

Risently I bought the Leonardo. Before that, I used Nano with the CP340 driver. Everything worked.
IDE with the Leonardo does not see my COM7. How to install it? Do I need some driver ? Someone advised to switch the Reset and GND while uploading. It didn't help at all. Any ideas?

I have Elegoo Mega 2560 R3. Windows sees it as USB serial device (com 3). I got the latest version of IDE 2.2.1 and it will not detect the board. It says unknown and it is not listed in the board list. Should I go back to an earlier version of IDE? Thanks for the video.

One Arduino Uno board is found the port and same another Arduino Uno board is connected port is not found, then we given first Arduino Uno board then shows the port, and 2nd one is not found what is that reason?
