Thanks for always making fantastic content. Just wondering have you ever heard of (or done a video I need to watch) on Gormiti? I remember loving and watching the 2008 Lords of Nature cartoon and vaguely the video game on Wii, but it's such a wild ride to learn about it now with the source being the toys and it how many separate adaptions came from that product line (including a current one).

In my perspective, I was a fan of Skylanders more over Spyro, and actively collecting a lot of Skylanders and played all of the games. I was never really a fan of the tv show because of its singular glaring problem: it only focused on 5 SKYLANDERS. It was a show only about the MOST popular and iconic of the Skylanders, with as you’ve said, everyone else just supporting or background roles. The games are all about the vast variety of Skylanders being heroes, you collect and play with your favorites, and you’re only going to give attention to 5 of them??? This was my biggest problem with the show, to me it was absolute wasted potential 😞The show went back from SKYLANDERS: Spyro’s Adventure, to skylanders: SPYRO’S ADVENTURE.
That tends to be happen with merchandise-based cartoons. They make the most popular characters the central cast, and have the others be supporting and guest characters.
@@PC2000 I wouldn't say that's entirely true. If the show were going for a story arc, then yes, in most cases, you should at least have specific set of characters who are at the focal point. But in the case of anthology shows, or just episodic shows in general, you could get away with a varied cast.
I honestly couldn't agree more, as I used to play and collect skylanders on a yearly basis until imaginators came out. It did upset me how they just didn't seem to use that many skylanders, only the popular ones. For me, I would have loved seeing some of my favorites from the other elements than just the main cast over and over again. I was hoping back then that maybe Grim creeper would appear or maybe Fiesta(yes I very much love the undead element and characters from it) yet none of the more interesting ones ever got a chance to show or they just reused the same skylanders which was a shame in my opinion. Would have loved if there would have been more characters appearing but it would have been a lot of work after all.. 😞😞
One major complaint I have with the show is how it reuses so many models, locations, and assets, like it’s always the same handful of characters and locations in every episode, which is disappointing since the games were all about exploring this literal infinite world, the skylands of the show feels tiny in comparison.
I agree there was a serious lack of Skylanders in a show based upon the Skylanders and would have been great for more episodes and concepts. The Skylanders themselves were the heart and soul of the games and series while it lasted and hopefully they will be again someday.
Budget was a big issue that kind of forced the reuse onto the show. For instance, Fiesta and Dr Krankcase were supposed to be in season 2, but were too expensive to animate and as a result, were cut.
@@PhantomNugget like I said, they shouldn’t have blown the budget on celebrity voice actors like Catherine O Hara, Susan Sarandon, Norm Macdonald, James Hetfield, etc. Alternatively, they could have done the show in 2d.
Toys For Bob actually thought about bringing Hunter in Skylanders for Skylanders: Giants, but after the fan backlash about Spyro from the first game, TFB decided against adding Hunter and add more original playable characters.
I think the biggest missed opportunity, if it was possible, was to introduce them not as Skylanders, but as the actual characters from the games. Spyro, Legends Spyro, and Skylander Spyro all have distinct worlds and distinct personalities, sort of like Spiderman No Way Home, we know that Crash that Skylanders Spyro is going to eventually meet the original Spyro from his world. I wanted to see more of that dynamic explored.
When ever Glumshanks was able to have his time on screen was always a fun viewing when he could show he was more then just some bumbling minion. Having his own agency and desires outside of taking care of his master. For instance his friendship and conversations with Kaos's mother.
One thing I always loved that I feel like people don’t talk about much was the animation quality. I have never seen a 3D animation kids show with higher quality than this, it’s sad it got swept under the rug.
@@Thewavedemonjackal Apparently not and it’s been a long time since I watched, I don’t even remember how long it took to be brought up that they needed to save her after Spyro was freed. Cynder was just a missed opportunity and if we ever do get another chance with her one day in another Spyro show or game that she’s done justice. Also, a little nitpick for me, I hated how they pronounced Malefor’s name as “Mal-four” instead of “Mal-uh-four.”
As someone who's more of a Crash & Spyro fan, than a Skylanders fan. This show was honestly pretty good, especially with it's final season. Where not only do we get a fan-favorite character from the games, Flynn. But also more representation from The Legend of Spyro Trilogy with Dark Spyro. Cynder & Malefor were also great additions...which I'm a bit disappointed that the showrunners said on Twitter, that Cynder was going to have a bigger role in the final season, only to appear in the final two-episodes & for some reason, doesn't appear in the big, final battle. But aside from that, I did enjoy it far more than Pac-Man & the ghostly Adventures. And to that end, the 2nd season of Sonic Boom started when Skylanders Academy's 1st season released. While I have a natural preference for Sonic Boom over the other two, there's no denying Skylanders does have more weight when it comes to the story & characters.
I wanted a season 4 to be honest to truly wrap it all up. Maybe add in the foreshadowing for Kaos finding the way to turn the Skylanders into planet Earth toys but oh well. Maybe someday we get something fan made that does just that
I honestly wasn’t that big of a fan with Skylander Spyro’s design at first, but then I realized that it was a different Spyro all together like how the Legends version of Spyro was not like the Original Spyro. Basically I learned to love all three of the versions of my purple bestie. So while I am sad that there wasn’t a season 4, I still loved the show for what it was. An enjoyable adventure that even gives rise to fanfic ideas. Plus it gave Spyro a chance to be a show and not just a game.
Fun fact, Mark Hamill was set to reprise his role as Malefor, but he was busy with the shooting of The Last Jedi at the time, so Jim Cummings ended up voicing the dark dragon instead. Also, Eric Rogers, the initial showrunner and the voice of Crash, stepped down after Season 2 and was replaced with Rhys Darby.
My favorite thing about this show is that the behind the scenes story that Activision Blizzard was such a nightmare to work with, Netflix effectively Blacklisted their film and TV studio. This was the reason why that Crash Bandicoot cartoon that leaked a while back was scrapped. No one wanted to work with Activision Blizzard. (This could all be bogus, but I remember this story leaking a bit before the Activision Blizzard stuff from last year, so there might actually be some truth to it)
The show was like one of those things that stays in the back your memory rent free until something or someone makes it resurfaces and makes you go "oh I remember that!" (I'm not criticizing the show I just I think it's okay that is how I see it)
As someone who had always hated the Skylanders franchise for what it did to Spyro (OG Spyro child here), I actually quite adored Skylanders Academy, and it’ll always have a place in my heart. It’s a shame it ended with such little fanfare, but it’s probably for the best that it ended when it did. As a side note, while I loved other characters, I did not realize just how much I was there for Kaos and Glumshanks interactions until Season 3 ripped them apart for the majority of the runtime. (I thought S3 was pretty bad for a lot of other reasons too, but other people actually seem to like it? Which actually makes me happy, I’m glad that the series ended on a high note for other people.)
this reawakened a whole lotta memories for me. i remember being utterly dissapointed that skylanders ended after 3 seasons and not answering the question of spyros lineage. we really shouldve gotten a movie or something to tie it all up in a neat bow.
Regarding Spyro's redesign, I'll admit that he looked a little rough... at first, but as the Skylanders series went on, Spyro's redesign was gradually smoothed out and refined, finally being perfected (relatively speaking) in Skylanders Academy. Yes, his 'Reignited' design is still better, but I feel that his Academy design doesn't get enough credit.
Exactly, while in the games, mainly his series 1 design, his design isn't very good copared to previous iterations. Academy pretty much took that more unfavourable design and remade into something way better.
Season 3 was my favourite because dark spyro is in it, and he could still be alive and the roles swapped. Similar to eon who isn’t dead but went into spirit form instead. He could easily have survived just like spyro since he was shown to be stronger than regular spyro featwise. And the roles might be reversed, where dark spyro is lingering within spyro. And him meeting his parents would be great as well
Imagine my surprise when I found out Eruptor was voiced by Mike from Breaking Bad. Also, I used to love that show, watched it 3 times over. It will always have a special place in my heart.
I had been a Skylanders fan almost since the franchise started and so when I was made aware of the show coming to Netflix I was over the moon! When I started watching, I really liked it. Some things that differed from the game like certain voice actors changing and some characters being in the show that weren't in the game but those were nitpicks. As the second and third seasons came a long, I enjoyed the series more and more. I was so disappointed that there was supposed to be a fourth season, but we never got it. I waited several years but by 2020 I had pretty much given up hope that the series and thus the franchise as a whole would ever continue. I rewatched some of the show again after not watching it for a while and I will admit I'm not as connected with the series as I used to be, and I will admit part of my enjoyment partially stemmed from the fact that I would consume most Skylanders content, but I still like it.
I've never played the games, but would binge the show almost every day or so, I could only watch Netflix and it's a really nostalgic show for me. No one ever talks about it so thank you for this video 😃
The models are so good and I hate that it just ends in a really bad cliffhanger due to the cancellation of this series. Kotick apparently hated this series
I LIVE skylanders! I have so many memories with the series and playing it with my siblings. I watched this show when it came out and I liked it a lot. So glad you could go over it!
I actually watched and really enjoyed Skylanders Academy. I too also think this is the best Skylanders related thing to exist. I also wish there was a 4th season.
Here’s some suggestions for the “wait remember….” series from stuff I watched back then. Max Steel: Specifically the 2013 reboot as that was the one I grew up with but you can also talk about the original in a different video (I mean they’re basically two completely different shows so I don’t think they should be in the same vid) Supa Strikas: I watched this from time to time back then and I’m interested to see what you think of it. Uh… that’s it, can’t think of anything else that I care about or that you haven’t already covered
I'd argue that the "toys to life" thing was first thought up conceptually in Super Smash Bros, where the showed visually the fighters being toys used to fight each other. It may not have been the same as Skylanders, but it may have worked somewhat in creating the concept for Amiibos, at least.
As a person who is still playing Skylanders franchise and Has all 6 parts and almost all charakters, it was hard to me to watch that show. For me it wasn't that bad, just don't like how they went with "super lore" of first 5 parts to super mah Imaginators (six one), which canon is in Academia's Universe. And also - there is Kaos! How I love this guy, and huge respect to mr. Richard Steven Horvitz, I'm huge fan of Him.
As someone who grew up really enjoying the games, I thought this series was pretty good. I kind of wish it had come out back in 2012. My first reason being that they might have been able to finish the story they were telling by the time Imaginators came out. The other being that I was a teen when Academy started and was more into edgier storytelling. I even made this really bad edgy Skylanders stop motion series after the second season came out. That being said, the show we got was decent. I thought the characters were likable, and the story was actually pretty good. And I guess I can just be glad that it kept the series alive for a little while longer after finding out the games were over.
If Netflix finally decides to give us a Season 4 of Skylanders Academy, here are some ideas I hope would happen because I thought they would be interesting to watch: 1. I would like it if Spyro's old friends from the original Spyro The Dragon games, such as Sparx, Elora, Hunter, Zoe, Sheila, Bianca, Flame, and Ember, were finally shown in the show. One of my biggest problems with Skylanders Academy is that they missed a lot of opportunities to make these characters as Skylanders, even if most of them stay supporting characters. I think Sparx really should have been in this show. Sparx's whole character arc in the original games was that he always helped Spyro on his missions and treated him as if he was his brother. I understand 5 out of 10 as to why they didn't bring back Elora, Hunter, Sheila, Flame, and Ember, but how could they forget about Sparx, of all characters? 2. What about an episode where Stealth Elf has to train hard in order to defeat a creature who has turned the other Skylanders into stone statues? It would be cool if we get to see Spyro, Eruptor, Jet-Vac, and Pop Fizz in cold stone statues. Plus, given the fact that Stealth Elf is a literal ninja, I'm surprised that the show never had an episode like that. 3. It would be cool if other characters like Whirlwind, Zap, Blades, Sonic Boom, and Torch got their own slice-of-life type episodes where they got to be the focus. 4. What about an episode where Spyro developes an eating disorder, like anorexia or bulimia, after he feels guilty for all the things he did as Dark Spyro? I feel like that would help children understand his character arc and acknowledge the fact that he is dealing with a realistic issue that people can parallel to the real world. I can even imagine a scene where Spyro is having a nightmare where his dark counterpart took over him and a scene where he explains that he just wants to feel more powerful than when Strykore stole his light energy. 5. An episode where Eruptor and Pop Fizz get in trouble or something like that and they bond while they decide to work together. I think it's weird that Eruptor and Pop Fizz never had an episode together, and it would help children understand teamwork, like other children's shows do. 6. This is going to sound weird, but what about an episode where the Skylanders go into underground sewers to stop someone from flooding the Skylands with raw sewage and stinkiness? What do you people think about these ideas?
Besides, there are episodes of kids shows that are cartoons that mention starvation dieting and eating disorders, such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Doug, Braceface, and Horseland. Though they are older kids cartoons.
Also, I just think that Season 4 of the show, if it ever does happen, should not focus on Spyro trying to find his family, unless they handle it the same way Spyro tried to find out the truth about his ancestors in Season 2. Because if they focus on the other characters at the academy while Spyro is away, I think that will just ruin the purpose of his character arc. The whole reason he came back to the academy was that, in my opinion, he wanted to be there for his friends while trying to keep his secret about himself and Strykore. I don't think Dark Spyro is technically evil as much as he is a person who wants to escape a dark state he doesn't want to be in, and his friends want to help him.
I vaguely remember the show but the game was far more memorable for me. Love the content, you should do a show called Grossology if it's not already on your list. While watching your vids I thought about it and can't believe it was actually a thing lol
The show was the one that actually got me hooked on the series in the first place and in short terms, I really liked Skylanders Academy after rewatching it and maybe we will get some form of continuation where spyro does go back to his dragon village and maybe see sparx or something.
I was iffy on it at 1st, but by the end I wish it had gotten to live a little longer. Evil Spyro was fun and Glumshanks deserves to be on a best hemchman/lackey list somewhere.
I love Skylanders, but I didn’t get into it until inaginators came out. Which was write around the time this show came out. So you know I was all on that. I loved this show then and I still do now. But then again, like I said, I’m also just a Skylanders fan in general (I won’t hesitate to admit that Skylanders is what introduced me to Spyro)
As somebody who had never even heard of skylanders when I first watched this show, I loved it. Looking back on it now…yeah, it was pretty good. Still have never played a skylanders game or even gotten into it, hah
I discovered the series a while back last year, and I really enjoyed it. I am not familiar with the games. With a show that good, I wondered why it ended.
I absolutely loved Skylanders. I played it when I was a little kid and grew up with that series, never even knew Spyro was a character outside of skylanders for a long time but he still is my favorite to collect. Even have the e3 chrome Spyro! I really loved the show as it gave a lot of nostalgia and was just overall a good show IMO and was pretty disappointed we weren't getting a 4th season especially with the cliff hanger!
My first impression of the show was "I'm not sure what the rules are, but I'm pretty sure she's (Stealfy) winning." -In reference to the "throw sheep at eachother" game in the beginning. And yes, I call Stealth Elf Stealfy, and I'm well aware I'm probably the only one on the planet who does so.
I never played the games and barely new who they were, but as a somewhere around 12-13 year old this was my favorite show to see get the third season at the time, the trailers for the third season really hyped me and I liked the humor, but like you said I don't really remember anything about any music compared to other things for how many times i rewatched it
Oh wow I didn't expect to see Skylanders on this channel. While the show itself was pretty mid imo (except for Kaos and Glumshanks moments, these two easily carried the show for me) Skylanders games were a big part of my childhood, Spyro's Adventure prolly being in my top 3 games of all time
I will applaud this show simply for giving Crash Bandicoot an actual voice instead of keeping him a Heroic Mime. Just a shame that they decided to undo that for the NSane Trilogy...
I would really have liked to see a fourth series and more of the show tbh. The issues of the games were, as everybody knows are that the figures were too expensive and too many, the games came out way too close together, so you felt in too much of a rush to try and get the figures. It's a shame but a change in execution with the games would have kept them going, like making the figures less expensive and there being a much longer gap between games, instead of every year which was and is ridiculous.
I used to watch the show all the time it was a masterpiece at its time but I have grown out of my skylanders phase a few years ago but even after that I still like the show
Im a huge Spyro fan, especially of the Legend of Spyro trilogy, and this show was the closest we'll probably get to a legit Spyro cartoon. But I liked it. Season 1 was okay but 2 i greatly enjoyed and 3 was dissapointing to me and I'm sad it got cancelled after that. There was a weird pacing issue throughout the show, weird "filler" epsiodes that didn't add anything to the story and even tho you liked dark Spyro, he didn't really make any sense. He wasn't evil he was just acting like a massive jerk, which is what Spyro already was. I just really liked that we got to see Cynder and Malefor again as well :3 So cool you talked about this man
The show was enjoyable,it was decent enough that sometimes i wish it was still on Netflix just to go back and watch it at times (unless they do and I just never noticed?) I think they could’ve made a spin-off with just Kaos and Glumshanks, that would’ve been fun for a season or two.
You think you might end up doing videos on The Hollow, Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters, Pinky Malinky and probably other short-lived Netflix shows sometime in the future?
Spyro n Crash was my childhood and even as a 14 year old I become disappointed at Activisions business model so I never indulged in the games (despite REALLY wanting to) but the show was great, started off slow but just kept getting better. Gloom and Chaos are an iconic duo Imo and I loved when they introduced Cinder.
I loved the show, though I felt it could've benefitted from not dragging out the mysteries for too long and included more characters like Tree Rex and The Giants, Cali, Terrafin, Swap Force, etc. It showed serious promise but failed to live up to expectations.
I honestly felt Lego Dimensions did the whole Toys to Life concept better. You got a mini figs that worked with preexisting sets, a video game with a compelling story, and a great line of dlc pacs to keep it interesting. I miss all the Toy to Life games though.
I honestly have to disagree with you about lego dimensions. The whole idea behind lego dimensions is bad because all it is pretty much like fortnites collabs mixed with lego and skylanders. As well as the fact that it tells you to build the portal that does nothing, before you even play the games and you can just take the minifigs off the top of their little platforms and it doesnt even affect them. And keep in mind all of this is coming from a person who loves lego as well as lego games
I get it ended but at least they could have done another 1 hour episode that fully ended it all seeing Spyros Family and putting it all at end for those who love it like me.
I think the problem for me was liking Spyro before Skylanders. I was a huge fan of the legend of Spyro trilogy and was incredibly interested in Skylanders as the Spyro's next big story in the cyclic reboot. But it felt so detached from Spyro as a character. I became more interested in the games as they left Spyro behind and became their own thing. Skylanders Academy brought back the same problem I had when the series started. It didn't feel like a proper new iteration of Spyro's journey or something that could stand on its own without one of the most established characters in gaming history. It was okay and sometimes pretty good, but always painful for me to watch. I think if they just took Spyro out (or did him a cameo like Crash Bandicoot (Spyro should have just been a legend that inspired the skylanders or helped found them)) the show could have been so much better. There were so many interesting characters, world building, and relationship growth to focus on other than Spyro. Spyro as the main character felt like it was holding the show back. The show wasn't good enough for him which in some weird paradoxically way is what made it not good enough for him.
I actually watched the show before playing the games (a neighbour gave us their collection) and I enjoyed both. The show was good, not the best I've ever watched, but good. The games felt a little dated (not helped by our Wii and old TV) but they were very fun.
I remember I was in elementary school when the first season of this series released. I remember waiting for seasons 2 and 3 and being partially upset when it was over.
My eldest son got into Skylanders at a time when most of the games had been around for a few years - so, was easy to pick up cheap new and secondhand characters which made the collection bigger, quicker and cheaper. We have all of the games that came out on the Wii plus a couple on Playstation 3. The cartoon did deviate from the games somewhat, however, they did need to make a cartoon from these characters so that was to be expected. Overall it was great and if I'm honest, one of the best things about it is the theme tune. We held a Skylanders themed birthday party for my son with games based (loosely) on the names of the games. We had a projector playing some of the cut scenes and the kids enjoyed it!
Snapshot being the in the show is kinda a little reference about me when i first played skylanders trap team (btw it was only a little reference that i made myself even tho i didn’t create snapshot in the game it was just the developers making the character)
I did love the Skyalander games, had all the figures for a long time. Just got too expensive to keep up. Glad I sold them when they were still worth something.
Just came from the video about the game series, and I wanna say that I loved this show, plus, I think releasing it around the time the games were dying was a good send-off
8:16 this is one of the only shows where i enjoyed the intro so much that even when i had no time to look at another episode i still started it and only watched the intro

I see this as a send-off/funeral for the franchise
As Jon Bailey once said, "...when Skylanders is dead and buried."
Damn Jordan's really out here resurrecting the memories of cartoons which do indeed exist.
I remember this show, I am upset that they cancelled it but I will always remember the good memories I had with this show.
I watched this show a lot and loved it. I just wished they added more Skylanders, even if they were just for 1 episode.
(This could all be bogus, but I remember this story leaking a bit before the Activision Blizzard stuff from last year, so there might actually be some truth to it)
The show was like one of those things that stays in the back your memory rent free until something or someone makes it resurfaces and makes you go "oh I remember that!" (I'm not criticizing the show I just I think it's okay that is how I see it)
Man I wish we had Dr. Krankcase in this series. He would've made it even more fun.
The lore and stories on this show was amazing. Sucks that it ended!
I genuinely love the expressive on chaos specifically in this show
Regarding Spyro's redesign, I'll admit that he looked a little rough... at first, but as the Skylanders series went on, Spyro's redesign was gradually smoothed out and refined, finally being perfected (relatively speaking) in Skylanders Academy.
And him meeting his parents would be great as well
I honestly kinda liked it.
Me too
Imagine my surprise when I found out Eruptor was voiced by Mike from Breaking Bad.
Oh my god, I remember this show. While watching this video I started to remember all the characters again.
I've never played the games, but would binge the show almost every day or so, I could only watch Netflix and it's a really nostalgic show for me. No one ever talks about it so thank you for this video 😃
Watched The Show When It Came Out, Loved It As A Fan Of Spyro, Crash, And Skylanders As A Whole, Really Wished We Had Gotten That 4th Season
Max Steel: Specifically the 2013 reboot as that was the one I grew up with but you can also talk about the original in a different video (I mean they’re basically two completely different shows so I don’t think they should be in the same vid)
Supa Strikas: I watched this from time to time back then and I’m interested to see what you think of it.
Uh… that’s it, can’t think of anything else that I care about or that you haven’t already covered
I LOVED MAX STEEL!!!
this review is pretty spot on how i felt regarding the show
**but i never skip the intro**
Anyone remember Mike, Lu, and Og?!? That opening is still stuck in my head.
As someone who bingewatched the show for the 5th time last week, I appreciate this video.
If Netflix finally decides to give us a Season 4 of Skylanders Academy, here are some ideas I hope would happen because I thought they would be interesting to watch:
I really like your ideas. I especially like your ideas from 1-4!
An eating disorder might sound too heavy for a cartoon kids show.
I'm sure Netflix wouldn't mind an episode like that.
I really wished they made Season 4, I thought the Series was good and I always rewatch it!
Mann.. I use to see these toys lined up at the gaming section in every Walmart and Target back in the day. How time flies by...
I hate how the final season was having Spyro to try to find his kind, and we didn't get another season for it...
Never thought I would see my favorite youtuber make a video on my favorite series
I always watched these seasons within the week they were released in. And I loved the intro.
The voice cast is the main thing that has me remotely interested in maybe seeing some of the show. Didn't know it was so stacked past Richard Horvitz.
I never played the games and barely new who they were, but as a somewhere around 12-13 year old this was my favorite show to see get the third season at the time, the trailers for the third season really hyped me and I liked the humor, but like you said I don't really remember anything about any music compared to other things for how many times i rewatched it
Spyro's design is probably the sole reason I could never get into anything Skylanders, I mean how could they do that to him...
Well, this is probably because I saw the Skylanders version before the og version, but I think he looks better in Skylanders
Oh wow I didn't expect to see Skylanders on this channel.
While the show itself was pretty mid imo (except for Kaos and Glumshanks moments, these two easily carried the show for me)
Skylanders games were a big part of my childhood, Spyro's Adventure prolly being in my top 3 games of all time
I will applaud this show simply for giving Crash Bandicoot an actual voice instead of keeping him a Heroic Mime. Just a shame that they decided to undo that for the NSane Trilogy...
Finally someone talks about this. I was waiting for eons.
Ah yes, my childhood. Lot's of good memories.
I loved this series I was in raged when it was over I want it back to see what more they could've done even now after all these years
I would really have liked to see a fourth series and more of the show tbh.
I just really liked that we got to see Cynder and Malefor again as well :3
So cool you talked about this man
I loved this show. Currently bingeing it. Love the casualness and day to day plot of the show. Like we bare bears, sonic boom, looney tunes show.
The show was enjoyable,it was decent enough that sometimes i wish it was still on Netflix just to go back and watch it at times (unless they do and I just never noticed?)
I think they could’ve made a spin-off with just Kaos and Glumshanks, that would’ve been fun for a season or two.
I kinda wish that the other toys to life games also had their own cartoons too... awesome!! 0:02
I think it should have a fourth season about Spyro finding his family.
I just watched the series after having watched it as a kid. Nostalgia was crazy cool. 2nd and 3rd seasons were peak
I remember watching this in 2018 or 2019. I really liked the show
You think you might end up doing videos on The Hollow, Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters, Pinky Malinky and probably other short-lived Netflix shows sometime in the future?
Yes!❤
Yes❤
I miss this series, and its games.
It was so fun, but its a shame its come to a end. (A long time ago)
Bruh, I literally just finished watching this series yesterday lmao
I mostly watched it because it had Crash Bandicoot in it, but I actually did like watching it a lot.
loving the more frequent upload schedule Jordan!!
I honestly felt Lego Dimensions did the whole Toys to Life concept better. You got a mini figs that worked with preexisting sets, a video game with a compelling story, and a great line of dlc pacs to keep it interesting. I miss all the Toy to Life games though.
I think Scott the Woz summarizes toys to life perfectly in his video about them.
wait what does this have to do about your commen-
I honestly have to disagree with you about lego dimensions.
Awesome video bro. I wish this show would continue.
This show used to be so good, I wish they never canceled it.
May the franchise rest in peace. Unless anyone wanted to continue it.
I love this show and I especially love the theme song
I loved this show so so much i hope we get are well deserved 4th season
I actually watched the show before playing the games (a neighbour gave us their collection) and I enjoyed both. The show was good, not the best I've ever watched, but good. The games felt a little dated (not helped by our Wii and old TV) but they were very fun.
I remember I was in elementary school when the first season of this series released. I remember waiting for seasons 2 and 3 and being partially upset when it was over.
Same
My eldest son got into Skylanders at a time when most of the games had been around for a few years - so, was easy to pick up cheap new and secondhand characters which made the collection bigger, quicker and cheaper.
I remember watching this as a kid when it cam out. I knew nothing about skylanders but boy did I love this show!
I did love the Skyalander games, had all the figures for a long time. Just got too expensive to keep up. Glad I sold them when they were still worth something.
bro i remember waching this when i got back from the park
the nostalgia is coming back
Just came from the video about the game series, and I wanna say that I loved this show, plus, I think releasing it around the time the games were dying was a good send-off
8:16 this is one of the only shows where i enjoyed the intro so much that even when i had no time to look at another episode i still started it and only watched the intro
I just started watching Skylanders Academy and it became one of my favorite shows, too bad it got cancelled
This show was so goated I loved it I’m sad it went away
the plot twist at the end of season 3 could have been really good but it was never progressed further plus DantTDM in the show as hilarious
