    I currently use Diva but this just may need to get added to my arsenal of music-producing tools. The dynamics are wonderful!

    I've learned so much from this tutorial. Hive's a real beast, I have it a couple of years now, but haven't used it thoroughly. I can get so much more out of it but always started with tweaking a preset.
    There's so many theoretic tutorials about synths, but seeing someone make a sound from scratch is so much more worth.
    Appreciate this! Cheers from Belgium!

    Greetings from France.
    Because of you I had a great time.
    Because of you I'm going to have to buy Hive 2.
    And in the end I liked this video and I sub your channel.
    What a sound you made, thanks 😉

    Man. What an excellent tutorial. Please do more of these. Especially with Hive 2! You’ve earned a sub. That happens rarely these days.

    When I first discovered Phase Plant by Kilohearts I was blown away by the creative freedom. But I did not like the sound or workflow.
    Then I discovered Hive 2, and found that sound, workflow and freedom can coexist!
    Great video. You went a little too fast when you where trying to explain the function gen IMO. I didn't quite understand how LFO 1 was connected until I realized the INPUT was changed to LFO 1 in the FUNCTION 1 section;) Thanks

    There are loads of great soft synths but Hive 2 is probably my favourite of the lot.

    Well done, dude! I watched your videos on Vital while I was learning that synth and this one is just what I needed to kick start my understanding of Hive because I was totally lost! You touch on just the right amount of features without being overwhelming. Keep up the great work!

    Welcome to Hive! Good to see Wavetable import was successful. So is Anomaly 2 coming soon, or will it be a Patreon only soundset?

    • @s1gns0fl1fe
      @s1gns0fl1fe  2 роки тому +1

      Anomaly 2 will be a public release on Material in February! That said… To anyone reading this, my Patreon is such a great deal. It’s like getting a full Anomaly every few months!

    How would you compare Hive to Pigments? I hesitate to get Hive because I am afraid that it is redundant to the stuff that I already use.

    • @vidarhjal
      @vidarhjal 2 роки тому

      Hi, ich habe auch beide plugins.
      Pigment might have the better sequencer but in Hive2 you can record the sequence through your midi keyboard (as in repro5). Hive2 does not import the import of samples. Yet I feel a general superiority that u-he products emit :D

    • @s1gns0fl1fe
      @s1gns0fl1fe  2 роки тому +1

      It may be personal opinion, but Hive 2 sounds better than Pigments. It’s also way more efficient on the CPU. That said, they both have very similar features.

    How could we recreate the (rate control of vibrato) in Serum?

    • @s1gns0fl1fe
      @s1gns0fl1fe  2 роки тому +2

      Use an LFO and if you want it to fade in use the delay knob under the LFO! Hope that helps.
