Thanks.. she may be showing her years and age these days, but the bike is still capable..more than I am that's for sure 😄 Appreciate the comment my friend 🙏😁
Yup, those twin Koito's are to die for. Hunting one for my collection here in India. The ZXR is pretty damn rare but will compliment my CBX1000 and CB400SF beautifully!
@@aumkar2 Totally agree my friend.. there’s just something about those 80s & 90s twin round headlights that looks so damn good! You have some great bikes yourself, the CBX 6 is quite the bike! Keep hunting for that ZXR, they are worth the effort! 👍🏼 Cheers for commenting, ride safe 😎🤙🏽
That is gorgeous. I have a 90 H1 that's in very good nick for her age, but not on ths level ! It tempts me to try restoring it to full glory, but some parts are a bugger to get hold of. And the carbs on the H1 always seem to be a bit of an issue too.
Thanks, I appreciate that 👍 Carbs are temperamental on the H2 as well.. ethanol in todays fuel doesn't help. You're right about parts..& if you do find what you're after, it comes with the 'classic bike/ZXR' tax! They are great bikes though.. definitely worth the effort in restoring 😎👍 Cheers for commenting 🙏
I'm in the process of building a GPZ900 with a GPZ1100 engine. Have the skill to rebuild engine's but have still not mastered the art editing video🥴@@woooster17
I always love the older bikes you don’t see everyday! People love to rave about the newer bikes but I don’t want abs, traction control and power modes just me and the bike & that’s how motorcycling should be but I understand you need all those electronics to keep the 200hp bikes in check when giving it the beans but an ol 2007/2008 Yamaha R1 could smoke a new Panigale V4 with the right rider on it 🤷♂️
Absolutely my friend.. New bikes just leave me a bit cold. They don't have the looks & awesome paint schemes of 90's bikes! I appreciate 200bhp is incredible, but 105bhp of this ZXR is enough for me.. it can still boogie when it wants to! 😁👍 Cheers for the comment 🙌
@@woooster17 absolutely! I always watch your vids when you upload just to remind myself the older bikes are beautiful and no need to go get the latest thing out there 😌
The carbs were cleaned & rebuilt twice as it still didn’t run well after the first rebuild. The timing chain tensioner was installed incorrectly and had jumped a tooth, luckily no damage, so a new tensioner was fitted. The valve clearances were checked and a couple were out slightly. The wrong spark plugs had been fitted, they were for a Fireblade! So the correct plugs were refitted. New cam cover gaskets, service and mot. All in was £1400, which was what I expected.
@@woooster17 I doubt that there's a modern bike that carries off the swagger of one of these looks and style wise. Not into the "alien headlight" crap either.
Great job for keeping this beauty on the road still a good bike

And now you can ride with a peaceful mind... Or as much as you can on these terribly temperamental bikes.
