I replaced my damaged 22" 2002 ride with w 20" Giant Beat, and I have to say..... I like it better. It makes a great subtle lower-volume crash while still providing very "silvery" ping sound and a nice clear bell. My crashes are still 2002, but they integrate well with this "multi" cymbal. very pleased with it.

I have one at the far right of my kit, always used as a crash - absolutely amazing cymbal not just for the sound but feel as well.
