You're correct that inputting the phone number is how you get the "good" ending, but it only works if you've "learned" all the digits of the phone number legitimately by playing the game over and over and getting all the various other endings. It's a tiny bit tedious, but it's worth it. Great game.

For anyone wondering, the true ending is… Actually a truly HAPPY ending! I know, I couldn’t believe it either. I had to look it up after watching this, and since I hate stupid depressing endings, I was tickled pink. I recommend you look it up too - unless you really want to watch a little girl die in a dozen ways so that you can have the satisfaction of reaching the ending yourself. But there are plenty of ways to feel satisfied without wasting an hour of your time and a shard of your precious innocence. Love you. Mwah.

I don't know if anyone at Game Grumps will see this, but I am begging you play this again, and get the true ending. It is worthwhile, and the extra deaths tell you more, and more about what Lily has to go through. The final after credits scene is a nice cherry on top to finish off the game.

The way Arin was intentionally vague about the mugs in the box rubbed me the wrong way. I kept thinking "when are you gonna get back to playing this game?" Like I get that it was a bit to promote patreon but it really felt like the episode was being interrupted for no reason with no content.
I kind of feel that way when they promote anything. I like the Game Grumps, but they really need a script writer to not make their promotions of what they're doing so awkward.

Someone else mentioned it already but you guys should absolutely play Faith! It's a similarly styled game with a great story, amazing music and sound design and a kick of nostalgia for those old Famicom/Atari style games
I can say that at least in my opinion, the true ending is worth it. If you don't want to play the game yourself, ManlyBadassHero did a full playthrough of it. Either way, I'm just glad more people are seeing and enjoying RPGMaker horror games~

28:55 the French put chrysanthemums on graves while other people put white or red roses on graves. It really depends on the culture you’re talking about. I’d probably make a bouquet of flowers specifically for a funeral to place on a grave of chrysanthemums, roses, and maybe even some other flowers that have some sort of symbolism of passing on.
Seeing this type of style make me wish the grumps play classic horror RPGs like Ib or the witch's house

I don't know if anyone at Game Grumps will see this, but I am begging you play this again, and get the true ending. It is worthwhile, and the extra deaths tell you more, and more about what Lily has to go through. The final after credits scene is a nice cherry on top to finish off the game.

The way Arin was intentionally vague about the mugs in the box rubbed me the wrong way. I kept thinking "when are you gonna get back to playing this game?"
Like I get that it was a bit to promote patreon but it really felt like the episode was being interrupted for no reason with no content.
I kind of feel that way when they promote anything. I like the Game Grumps, but they really need a script writer to not make their promotions of what they're doing so awkward.
@@sunshinegamer1981 well I don't really feel that about every promo, like when the episode opens with an absurd skit that's actually an ad, I don't mind those because there's a strong visual and comedic component, but this one was just like "haha you can't see what they're talking about, let's talk about how you can't see it for 2 minutes heehee"
Plus the fact that it's just interrupting the middle of the episode is annoying

And if you had the episode on for background noise while doing something else, you would have even less of a clue because you wouldn't see the Patreon shill logo popping out of the jacket ever so slowly. I don't remember if they even verbally mentioned Patreon at all during that whole time, or if it was just broken glass noise over them talking about how they got broken glass that once resembled cups over at Goodwill.

Really wish Arin would let Dan play these kind of games. With his vast Sierra experience and his basic reading skills, he's much better suited.

Someone else mentioned it already but you guys should absolutely play Faith! It's a similarly styled game with a great story, amazing music and sound design and a kick of nostalgia for those old Famicom/Atari style games
I can say that at least in my opinion, the true ending is worth it.
If you don't want to play the game yourself, ManlyBadassHero did a full playthrough of it. Either way, I'm just glad more people are seeing and enjoying RPGMaker horror games~
