Iconic food from West Virginia: The pepperoni roll. Don't ask me why that's our food but apparently it is lol. I make mine with thawed, frozen yeast dinner rolls, rolled flat, filled with mozzarella, pepperoni, mozzarella, in that order, topped with another flattened yeast roll. Pinch together the sides to seal, brush with melted butter, and bake to gooey perfection!

I make philly cheesesteaks for a living and can tell you that those look amazing! We usually add mushrooms to ours too. I like putting the cheese sauce over the provolone for double cheese. :)

I had never made or eaten a Philly cheese steak but I was craving Philly cheese steak for an unknown reason so I decided to make Philly cheese steaks for an event I had coming up. I made them vegetarian using mushrooms and I didn't have Worcestershire sauce so I used many types of soy sauce. In the end I made a sandwich that was not a Philly cheese steak but it tasted really good and everyone enjoyed it, so I really enjoyed my first Philly cheese steak. Thank you for listening to my story.

You should do a Alfredo. You seem to do very well with the no dairy cheeses and Alfredo sauce is all cheese. Id love to see your interpretation of it.
Ooohh! I made this this past year bc my son is allergic to dairy. (Getting vegan things is easier than just saying no you can't have all the yummy things with dairy in them.)
It involves soaked cashews and garlic, and some other stuff but it is delish!
Vegan alfredo is very easy to make with cauliflower and nooch!
I made this last weekend:
cashews, tahini, lemon juice, roasted garlic, salt, white pepper, vegan butter, water- blend then mix with cooked pasta, add pinch of chili flakes, put a layer of breadcrumbs bake in oven 30 min...
Other options add broccoli, vegan pepperoni, other vegetables, vegan cheese. Eat with garlic bread and a side salad. Tastes amazing.
Alfredo is my weakness so it's good to hear there are tasty options for vegans. I'm not vegan I'd just hate to live a life without alfredo 😂
You just make a bechemel sauce (butter and flour cooked for a minute then slowly whisk in plant based milk) and add garlic and nooch and salt and pepper. Y’all really overthink things.
