Just found your channel - WOW you are all over the place - meaning a variety of video. Like your approach! Thanks!

You could not be more right when it comes to my scatterbrained topic selection. Or as an ex-gf called me an "idea magpie" since if it's shiny, I'll follow it. The YT "pros" tell me it's bad for audience retention or brand building or whatever other voodoo they profess but I just don't live in one topic. How boring would THAT be, eh? Thanks for the kind words and for watching. Cheers!

Pretty cool. I'll try your recipe. Thanks!
*I prefer star anise and honey 😊
Orange, nutmeg & anise is heavenly!

The beauty of chai, a million permutations. That trio will be my next batch but are you talking Italian anise seed or star anise? (I'm going to try both eventually). Thanks for watching.

@@MrSporksHands ~ Whole, Star Anise. I grab tiny bags from my grocery by a brand called Badia. NEVER anise seed. (yet) 😉
Have you ever tried the delicious, but pricey, Prana Chai?

I've heard of them down in Australia but have yet to sample. Import to Canada is likely possible but tricky given the border mindset these days.
Anise seed is one of the great overlooked spices everywhere in my opinion. Just don't use too much.
I might be stuck in my DIY ways but I have a recipe similar to theirs in my brain from a beekeeper I might have to dig out and play with next. It'll be deep chai season up here soon enough. Downright crisp at night already here.

@@MrSporksHands ~ One of the best chai I've had was in Byron Bay, Australia, years ago. Best almond croissant as well.
It's still brutally hot here in FL. Would love chillier (chai) weather!
ps) I've bought my Prana Chai from Amazon in the past
Anise seed I believe is included in some sausage recipes.

It is indeed. And famously in the VERY thin Italian waffle cookies pizzelles. Which conveniently are delicious with chai (or espresso).
I just looked and this is typical of Amazon Canada... they have it. Shipped from Colorado... for CDN$85 ! We get gouged on everything that isn't mustard seed, maple syrup, or lobster. LOL
