With all your reviews, which I’m finding to be loaded with information, it must be told that land line is an additional cost, often very high. I’m finding the latest Apple watches will call 911 and eliminate the middle man when calls occur. They will also notify up to five people to let them know you’ve had a fall. Just saying.
While the Classic Guardian requires a landline telephone connection, they do offer another home-based medical alert device, Home Guardian, and two mobile products, Mobile Guardian and Active Guardian, that use AT&T's nationwide cellular network to contact our 24/7 monitoring center at no extra cost to you.
Can you press the button and talk back and forth from the neck pendant or do you need to be close to the base to talk back and forth?
How does the senior know if the battery on the necklace is dead and how long does the battery even last? Thank you.
Was hoping you could actually demo the fall protection. We got one but could not get it to work, even dropping the pendant did not trigger a call.
Sami, I tried the same thing, dropping the pendant a dozen feet, and it didn't trigger the fall protection, either.
How do you talk to the operator about a false alarm if you are in the shower, far from the base ?

They don't give Apple watches away either! Some seniors need something else in case of emergency.
