Aw man! Finally got a leg up on the Fracassi game and now you’re gonna make me jealous with a Jason Pargin arc? Man that’s awesome! Same way, loved every book he’s put out so far. Already got my signed preorder with Parnassus Books!
The good news is Pargin is publishing at a slower pace so it'll take you a little longer to go broke. That said, have you ordered This Book is Full of Spiders from Midworld?
@@THEJEFFWORDI have not yet, and have no clue why because I have John Dies At The End from them already. Got the email last week and keep forgetting to snag my copy 🤦🏻♂️ think I’ll change that right now!
Yeah, and the whole circus-in-a-bag presentation of it was so cool! If he did that all himself, it makes it so much more awesome. I'm choosing to believe he packaged them himself.
That's my favorite too! You obviously must know that book is open for preorders from Midworld today. Right? If not, I'd recommend you grab one and John Dies at the End if you didn't already and can afford both. Black Box of Doom may be even better than Full of Spiders! It's definitely faster-paced and just as quirky though there are no interdimensional beings or supernatural elements (yet). But it is AWESOME. I also have a signed hardcover on preorder from Parnassus books in Nashville. Pargin is amaazing.
@@THEJEFFWORD Wait what?!?! I’m pre-ordering that today. I have the JDATE one Midworld released and I have my Parnassus signed pre-order for Black Box of Doom as well. Thanks for letting me know. The original copy of Spiders! I own I bought used. It had an inscription from the original owner that has Soy Sauce vibes all over it. Like that book was meant to find me and become my favorite.
Hm, I don't know if my comment got ate, but regardless, this is cool, Jeff. I hope you enjoy it, I'm looking forward to getting one myself in due time.
I'm reading it now and it could be my favorite Pargin title. I have a signed copy coming from Parnassus once it releases. This could also have the broadest appeal of any of his books since it's more fast-paced, thriller-y.
Yeah I worried for a long moment about opening that green envelope. Would something inhalable and cosmic puff out of that bag and send me on a one-way ticket to another universe? Maybe it did.

That is so cool! Not just the ARC but to have the author himself anoint you with such a treat.

Word!
UP!
Hi Jeff this is an awesome unboxing and I would have had a hard time taking of the caution tape that was a nice touch
Thanks Russell! He did a great job making it a special event.
So goddamned hype for this new book. I've loved every single book he's written. This Book is Full of Spiders.... is my favorite.
