I love how it turned out! What a wonderful learning experience for a beginner to know that not every “failure” ends up having to be scraped off and repoured. Thank you!❤😊
Tony, sometimes our start is disheartening but the finish is fabulous, Just reminds us not to give up on something until it is finished. Thank you for another great video.
Thank you, Carol! I appreciate the kind words, and yes I can definitely get caught up in what I’m not fond of but I’m really happy I stuck to this one and love it! 😊
Thanks for watching Heather, I appreciate it. Yes, it certainly had me worried too. I’m still not sure why it started the way it did, but am happy with the finished piece! 🙂
I often find that my issues with unexpected reactions is due to different brands of paint or mixing different brands; although I'm yet to master swipes but it happens sometimes with my Dutch pours - especially with white and black. The piece still came out great! Nice save!
I was surprised that you didn't get cells straight away using Penetrol which is known for great cells. However, your recovery was amazing and I really love this piece. Well saved Tony.
Thanks Paul, I appreciate it! I’m still not sure what happened to be honest, it just didn’t do anything which through me right off. I’m glad it worked out though!
what is ur mix for the white on top? im sure hoping its something i can get easy lol..shipping stuff 2 canada is insane and being in a small town dont make it easy either lol im gonna try at least 10 of ur tutorials..thank u
You’re talking to another Canadian so entirely understand. The white is 2 parts Amsterdam white with 1 part floetrol mixed with 3 or drops of penetrol which should make much better lacing than it did. Thanks for watching! 🤍
This was a first for me. My CA had worked everytime before this pour. Oh well, it was a learning opportunity anyway. How much WD40 do you add to your paint?
It appears that you may have been a little cautious the amount of paint that originally poured. I find that a little more paint then you think you need is better for swipes and the beautiful fine lacing that comes up. Swipes tend to require patience and slowing down the swiping process.
Thank you so much for watching and your feedback is great, I appreciate it. Yes, I’m notorious for not using paint now and then. I also agree needing more would definitely help keep those crisp lacing lines around more than they are. Thanks again!
No worries. I haven't been pouring for long but have spent many hours/canvases figuring stuff out. If you want some really good tutorials for swiping watch Tammy Anderson or Molly's Artistry (she did a one on one swipe tutorial with Olga Soby ,who is an amazing pour artist herself) that helped me to figure out what I missed. Either way, have fun and have a great day, eh! @@tonysfluidart

That was a great best mistake. It’s a very well balanced painting. Good that you didn’t give up. 😮
Thanks!! Nope, never giving up on a painting, they all turn into their unique pour! 😊🤍

This happens to me all the time! I dont know why.
I add wd 40 for lacing. 😂❤

I don't add very much cause it smells potent. Just a small couple drops to an ounce. @@tonysfluidart
It's incredible what you can add for affects!
@@NatachaWasylykVinette Absolutely! There's no shortage!
@@tonysfluidart this is true!!
