- Our final day in Italy took us to the coast to visit the ruins and beachfront of Ostia! We capped off our trip with a final Roman dinner and a bit more gelato before heading back stateside. Ostia antica was magical ... I was so surprised no one was there... won’t complain about that. Can’t wait to go back
*Great video!* Just one little correction, though: *Ostia* is _not_ outside of *Rome* but still inside the capital city. *Ostia* is in fact an official _neighborhood_ of Rome, an actual section of the city (part of the Municipio Roma XIII) which is commonly known as _The Port of Rome_ or _The Beach of Rome._

Nice video. Have you visited Colosseum? Would I be able to have my sling backpack there, or it is prohibited. Planning to bring gimbal to stabilize my camera video. Kind of worried that I would not be allowed to do so. Is it true or not? Thank you.
Oleg Vorkunov i believe rules change once in a while. We took our camera into the colosseum on a small gorillapod. I think a gimbal may be allowed in but I’m not totally sure. We did wear a very small day pack and they did not make us use a locker.
@@LandlockedLovebirds It looks like it is possible, but use might be prohibited and you would have to keep it in the bag. At least security will let you in, but guards inside will ask you to bag it and not use it. Had to use handheld recording. ua-cam.com/video/0C7nie_LU0w/v-deo.html

epr1 thanks again! We figure since we only publish a video or two a month, our growth is slowed. Hopefully UA-cam starts to show our videos to more people as our library builds. We just booked thanksgiving flights to Slovenia this morning, and we’re working on a Nepal trip for spring. Thanks so much for the kind words and confidence boost!
