This pizza looks yummy! A local pizzeria here in Niederbayern had a similar-looking Spätzle pizza as a special a few years ago, but with a pretzel crust. It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, their sauce was sweet mustard, but the Bratensoße is a little truer to the Swabian theme. Thanks for mentioning Magic John's a few weeks ago, and again here! I am looking forward to trying it out in Berlin next week!

If you want to you can try making the cheese sauce less liquid, I prefer my Käsespätzle this way (probably because its eaten like that in my region, there are probably very many variants), it probably goes better on pizza if its less liquid.
Also, if you ever want something translated or want the pronunciation of a german word you can shoot me dm if you like.
I have a different Ooni and absolutely love it. Highly recommend for anyone who loves pizza. You'll never have a desire to order a pizza from a restaurant again.

Look for "schnittfester Mozzarella" at pretty much any grocery store cheese counter.
Ignoring the food at hand, this type over over editing and beyond exaggerated experessions is exactly the reason why i usually prefer your channel over other ones.

Looks more like hungarian, especially because they also call Knöpfle as Spätzle. In some German countrys nobody ever would do that^^

I really need to get out more. I didn't even know there was a german version of mac and cheese although that should have been intuitive. Both the mac and cheese and that pizza sound and look so good.

Yummy, i love spatzle while living in Neu-Ulm Germany we loved that , and so many otherfoods my bio mother is German Helms is her sir name. I really liked going on volcksmarches and eating sausages and pretzels I hope to visit one day as well as Ireland 🇮🇪 my other side of my family ❤

This looks awesome. Are those noodles you used also called Spätzle? At the beginning you said Spätzle Pizza and then you used different noodles, no?
Spätzle are egg drop noodles typically scraped with a knife from a wooden board or pressed. They used Knöpfle which are a bit more compact crumbs compared to the more stringy form of Spätzle. They are a subspecies.
