It’s such a let down when the players draw crazy cards or a crazy minion it’s summoned on the board but the casters just keep talking about something else. It’s like watching a soccer game and right when someone scores a goal the caster is just talking about the possible strategies available. It completely kills the excitement when watching a tournament. You guys need to be a bit better at knowing when to pause your train of thought to draw attention to the moment on hand.
Hey, you know how awkward it would be if a caster pause in the middle of a sentence and immediately talk about something that just happened??? We don't do that here. We talk in smooth, full sentences.
@@JackIsNotInTheBox they do this in a ton of other games, r6, rocket league, etc, and it works just fine. Hearthstone is literally the only game the casters absolutely want to finish what they have in mind, and I agree that it kills the excitement
I like that they ussually have 1 excited caster for the average player and 1 caster who understands the game well. Its endearing to hear the excitement of the newer player talking about some nonsense combo for the lulz and just hearing kibler in the back like right but he has lethal. I dont know the new girls name, I havent been watching as frequently but she is doing an excellent job
@@davidhajzer489 thijs had bomb warrior with no alternate win condition while jarla countered bomb warrior. So it was very very difficult for his warrior to get over the line
I think for hearthstone tournaments blizzard gives the players unlimited dust to craft what they need for their decks, so everyone has all golden cards
Dude I don't like the way Jarla drug out the picks with Eleysiana when his opponent had no chance. It seemed rude to me imho. They've both been on a grueling Road for this moment and you should show respect for one another, especially with Thijs recently getting out of the hospital. I don't usually Grill people over the internet but I'm disappointed how he responded. You aren't supposed to BM when you're winning something like this. There are other ways to celebrate your victory than shoving it in your opponent's face. Especially once again when his opponent because of his hospitalization didn't even get the chance to properly prepare for the match! The guy is a good player but I hope he demonstrates good sportsmanship in the future to acknowledge everyone's effort and time to get to these top levels.
I will add one small disclaimer, maybe he just felt it was necessary after so long playing the game to make sure there was no way to lose. He could have just been completely in the zone and it's entirely possible that it was not intentional bad sportsmanship. I'll give him that but I'd be a lot happier to hear him say it. You casters can weigh in on this too if you want but it felt really unnecessary
I agree with you. Thijs needs to stick to his streaming and his tea. Having a full course meal while streaming so everyone can hear him chewing for 30 minutes.

To be fair both played pretty well, but Jarla had brutal counters like big nail to the coffin. GG indeed

Way to go Jarla! You deserved it! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the Spoiler as the Top comment
@@Nebrophonus93 Oh come on, this is old news. And secondly, you really didn't think Thijs had a chance, right?
@@EZ3James jarla fcked up on final
Both are great players, just the matchup was completely unbalanced :(
What do you mean by that?

Its gonna be nice to go back in twist, i have much better ideas now
Total noob qjestion:
Is using acdeck only containing golden cards that prestitious? Would it hurt the credibility to use non-golden ones?
A golden deck just means he has a lot of money to spend on HS and it also looks cool
I think for hearthstone tournaments blizzard gives the players unlimited dust to craft what they need for their decks, so everyone has all golden cards
totally destroyed by Jarla

Gratulace Jarlo :) wp
do they use wild decks or standard?
Standard
why is Jarla playing 2019 decks?
True xD
Gratulka :))
Seems that Flurry got relegated so he didn’t have the confidence today

I was hoping none of the gms in playoffs brought Warrior at all to instantly knock Jarla out.
Why? I am ootl, is it just because he brought a line-up that's good into the recent meta?
Miss play, should have traded into two two attacked other two two with wrench caliber, then blade stormed for full clear.
Its easier when you see both players hands :P
I felt like Thijs played well, he just had bad matchups :'(

Silver name for worlds. Would’ve been ETC if he wasn’t robbed in that final game
@@Sirkento I still feel BM isn’t a good move especially in a game where luck has an added factor
So you're saying he should have gone easy on Thijs? That would have been more disrespectful in terms of sportsmanship.
@Linh Vũ Đặng Vĩnh even if it wasnt, I’m pretty unhappy both Thijs and ETC lost their deserving spots as world finalists. It’s just that I’m tilted
Thijs go bk to streaming, competitive play is not for you. How can u be this bad and get so far ... still amaze me.
What did you achieve?
