33:00 - 35:22 It's staggering to me that the casters completely missed the fact that Viper mulliganed the quest for FIVE rounds. Sottle was eventually able to recover and explain Viper's reasoning, but that still indicates a lack of attention that is worrisome, in my opinion. United in Stormwind is a fast environment, and the casters should be ready to point out quickly important decisions by the players.
We ll show the winner in the video preview so you don’t even need to watch it…. Who is in charge of this because they really need to take a look at that 🙄
To all people saying that Gaby won by sheer luck : I'll let you get top legend and win tournaments, if it require no skill. And god, some people are really against all forms of fun, I'd rather have expressive players that show they enjoy the game and have fun than dead looking guys that don't even look to enjoy being here.
Lmao people in the comment section i swear... getting angry at someone having facials expressions... Calling players that top legend regularly "lucker only"... The delusion and the bitterness is real. Yall mad, he's living his best life on cam ? Yall mad that you can't play as good as thoses people ? Keep hitting thoses keyboards, you'll go far.
Watching new hearthstone championships I realize two things to which hearthstone failed; one, standard should never look like MTG legacy, players should have a chance. And two, they still havent fixed the system where if your opponent hard ropes and animations carry over that it reduces your opponents turn by a substantial amount. @6:00 Viper lost nearly 15 seconds on his turn, legitimately not fair.
I agree with both points. I totally disagree with Hearthstone's apparent design philosophies.... This feels more like the notorious Combo Winter in MtG than it does Hearthstone - and there are fewer tools to actually respond to these combos. And I remain amazed how little Blizzard has bothered to fix this game. The weird hand order bug was in the game for literal years before it was resolved, and the fact that animations roll over to other people's turns is just exploitative. Basically while I can enjoy watching Hearthstone, I have no real confidence in their design team.
@@bricelory9534 too many games lately feel like the R&D teams and bug fixers has the smallest budget and that is just a show of what companies care about the most which is unfortunate.
I thought the Hearthstone team had some understanding of how un-fun high burst damage is, and then they make a set with Shaman quest, Mage quest, and neutral (!!! So much for class identity) windfury granting. And I find it hard to believe they didn't test Warlock quest with the health-cost cards - probably not getting the optimized version, but they could have seen the degeneracy of that combo. I have no faith in the design philosophy of the Hearthstone team anymore.
Shouldnt be this esports competetive games more like better player=wins? this is just a joke.. better draw better deck is winner they both are good just really depends on the deck and draw, supercringe
I feel like most hardcore competitive HS players/viewers are 30 year old grumpy redditors that don’t have fun playing the game so they won’t allow others to have fun themselves
I always imagine the guys who type those kind of comments from behind of their keyboards in the safety of their parent's basements rocking minions profile pictures. Must be winners in life hating on something that doesn't hit back lol
Yeah, Rank 1 Legend 80% luck... TBH Gaby drew incredibly well (luck), but what is he supposed to do, not play a good hand? These GMs have all put countless hours of practice and study and research into this game, so when they get "lucky" they make it look easy.
Is this how hearthstone plays anymore? Cuz this is all just a bunch of combo cheese...this aint good yo, there's basically zero interaction with the opp deck.

When casters outperform gameplay in entertainment value, trying their best to make these non-games enjoyable.
d6 warlock is honestly just the best deck in hearthstone ever if you really think about it
i agree

...when the breaks between the games are longer than the games itself
Hearthstone is a fun and interactive game
Is it me or is Warlock only losing to mirror matches and Demon Hunter?

this heartstone? you think require skills for the players?
is a joke?
@@antoniocasasrepresa9086 Yeah, this hearthstone, not another hearthstone.
Its a TCG so it requires luck but also skillful decision making and knowledge of match ups.

This game is really died, the one who comple the quest first wins, it's all about OTK now.. I miss the old days..
Warlock so broken

Good to see the enthusiasm, but it's not like he actually DID anything. Nerfs can't come soon enough.

To add to other, wiser you tubers this was exactly solitaire, it was dull and I disagree strongly with the commentators

Broken cards masters.
Nerf Gaby.... jajajaaja
Gaby : 10 % skill

80% super luck
Padeshah Official : 10% Intelligence 90% bitterness
gaby is n °1 legend every month on the eu ladder ! he has a lot of lucky ^^
Number 1 on 2 servers with only luck... U genius!
I know he's a good player but every game that gaby is one of the opponents is unwatchable for me, it's like watching an annoying child with ADHD
hit the nail on the head there lmao

Gaby really shouldnt skip his medication

Gaby aka Topdeck-Lucker - no skills, wow
I hope it's just a joke
A bad joke *
It's a card game, of course luck is one factor of it lol
