Here, in snow country, south of Buffalo NY we call that a dusting. Real snow storms are over 7 feet. Many of us have multiple methods of generating electricity and even more heat sources. We keep 3 to 12 months of food so there is no reason to go out. It is time to have the neighbors and their kids in for an impromtu winter festival of organized snow fights and wine tastings along with a bonfire and smores. When you get lemons, make lemonaid.
