I love my skin tone, especially when it’s even toned and glowing! Tips: Exfoliating regularly, dry brush, eat Whole Foods, Fasting, drink water, cocoa butter, Shea butter, mild and simple skincare products, don’t smoke or put anything damaging in the body, less stress and worry!

@@olarewajugrace9848 I have been using the tree hut scrubs for years or you could make your own with sugar/salt or an oil. As far as for face, I use the ordinary line and I use a mild face wash. I love the Lororshe Posay face moisturizer or Cerve, you can find this in CVS.
Paula’s choice makes great facial skincare. It’s fragrance free which is the best for black skin.
My dermatologist told me not to exfoliate

Please what kind of face cream can you recommend for a dark/chocolate skin tone?
My face pretty is like the deepest dark and from my neck to toe is like the dark. Don’t know how to make all of them one and the deepest dark is beautiful too
PanOxyl bleaches the skin a bit which is nice when you’re lifting pigment so I use this on occasion, but I don’t overdo it. The acids (AHA/BHA) really need to be used sparingly. The raw African black soap, palmers 24hr moisture cocoa butter tub, and cerave ceramide healing ointment in the blue tub keeps my skin bright and repairs my skin barrier from eczema breakouts. Apply to damp skin. Arnica gel also brightens the skin too, like aloe would.
This is interesting and educative, thanks for sharing. I'm dark complexioned with a warm undertone, and my skin is even. I always stick to the use of all natural ingredients. I use Shea butter with kernel oil, avocado oil and olive oil. Working on getting a softer skin so I'm going for the skin butter you talked about. 💯😘

Ethiopian and Rwandese women are actually majority light skinned:) Kenya is quite diverse. From Arabic light to Sudanese dark....and everything in between.
Not true ethopian are naturally light skin yet many of them are dark skin or brown, but rwandese are all mainly black skin people there are a few that might be lightskin. But most of them are dark skin and if you see a light rwandese it could be either they are mixed with abother nationality or they used skin lightening products to look light.
Otherwise they are mainly black skin ppl. And you said kenya is diverse but remember all Africa is diverse. East africans and west africans are known to be the most darkest skinned ppl of Africa. But many are lightskin these days because they use products to look lightskin or they could be mixed with another race and maybe nationality. And most kenyans are dark skin or brown skin not lightskin it the same with rwandese or tanzanians
But for Ethopia it different because most of them are naturally lightskin, and that because Ethopians are a mixed of africans and europeans in them mostly israelits in them. And it also explains why they are orthodox just like them😉
@@shalbec3232 I am an East African and I assure you that my statement is 100% true and we are no lighter nor darker than the rest of Africa. Save for Sudan. Look at Senegalese; they are also dark. So are many west Africans. But no issue black is beautiful. And a point of correction, Tanzanians are mostly light skinned because of the mix with Arab cultures. Ethiopia, Somalia, Somaliland, Eritrea, Djibouti... All same skin type though others are darker. The Tutsi of Rwanda look like the Ethiopians.

I’m dark and I am working on evening my skin tone. I want it to look and feel rich and buttery. I am using niacinamide for texture minimize pores and evening skin and azeleic acid for brightening. I have a cocoa butter stick for sudden scars and hyperpigmentation and I will get the cocoa butter and almond oil for moisturizing.

Make sure to wear dark skin friendly sunscreen especially during the summer. Sunscreen helps to combat hyperpigmentation especially post inflammatory hyperpigmentation from breakouts

I am a mature dark female and just started using pure shea butter and pure cocoa butter on my face in addition to a serum with vitamin C, tumeric, and hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, alpha arbutin, wakame bioferment, aloe vera, and vitamin E...In addition, I sometimes use CeraVe day and night moisturizers...CeraVe cream is very good for dry skin on the body...
How has it been working for you? I'm mature as well. I've been depressed for a few years and my skin has suffered. I'm trying to get back into self care.

Use azelaic acid for your inner thighs. Take a pee size and rub there and always wear a skin tight to prevent friction between your thighs.

Well Eniola thankyou so much for better enlightenment,i previously used dove vanilla,sheabutter and cocoa butter body lotion nd body wash and it had a really great effect in ensuring i had a good skin..
