I don't know what kind of sorcery this is, but it worked. I used a small metal butane torch that was empty, and clicked the igniter near the screen a handful of times. Just the first click of the igniter fixed most of two touch dead bars across the screen. THANK YOU

@@dtdvenom8256 he's joking lol 😆 the fix only works temporary and might stop working eventually, also if over do it too much at once or do too often then might make worse or fully break. Try to wait several days in between uses and never do too many shocks at once. It's risky but worth a try if screen is broken anyway

Do this at your OWN RISK! Different phones have different screen.. S10 has anit-shock system that if you force a usb killer it won't happen anything!... But many phones wont resist... Some phones may show negative colour to the screen (white to black, yellow to blue etc)

i didn't work for my S20 plus. It has a very clear delimited area on the higher part of screen and it didn't change any spot during the test...
I tried this method it worked for like 1min. and a fter that my screen got worsen. It started clicking like everywhere

Thank you so much dood😍, I'm using lg g8x and I had touch issue in the middle and lower screen. I used the stove lighter on the screen and fuk it worked 😱. But after 2 days the issue started again and I did the same thing. I don't know is it the permanent solution. I will update if I was to change my screen completely.

I thought the comments were trolling but it actually works. I guess the shock from the lighter spark kinda resets the capacitive touch screen, I don't know how long this fix will last though.

Hello, if you really wanna know if this works or not, read my comment.
My phone cannot tap on the upper side, around 1 inch long. So i did what this video says and I buy an igniter as shown. Im from the Philippines and it only costs P10, but not every lighter contains igniter. I dont why, but try being picky if you want to buy. It's around only 0.05 US dollars. its cheap. So i tried it for about 30 minutes. My fingers are little tired, but the work is done. it really works, the only problem, I didn't want to finish the whole part where I cant tap it. Its now tappable, except the 1cm length part of my phone that I didnt finished. After 2 weeks, its now starting to cant tap again. And my igniter runs off spark or smth. So I leave my phone like that until its untappable just like what I have in the first place.
My advise is, this really is working, just be patient and try to fill every gap, make sure every part is working. Thank you. Hope y'all doing well

I can't believe this worked! insane. I actually used my gas stove ignighter after turning off the gas (didnt have a lighter handy). Worked first time - i brought it fairly close to the ignition spark but not touching all the way. Do so at your own risk!

I didn't quite believe that this would work on my KORG M3 music workstation, since it is old and the touch screen should have a very different technology. But to my complete surprise, it worked and saved me from dismantling the whole unit to replace the screen. Many thanks for the idea. For maximum effect, the unit has to be switched off while the display is treated. On my unit only the regions near the boundary needed to be processed, but with a half or one centimeter distance to that boundary, so that there are relatively long sparks to that boundary. It took only a few minutes. Then I booted the instrument, started the screen calibration process, and it was good.😊😊😊
