Bringing kids into an equation as a solution is not beneficial to anyone. Yes that kid can bring Glory to the family, and what not. Personally, this kind of perception of mine is often seen as ruthless and desolate by the people around me and I'm told to be adjusting, think more emotionally, think about this and think about that, think about the aunt's grandmother on father's side, far more frequently. As an individual, I've noticed that there're way too many people who do, think emotionally, mentally, physiologically, spiritually, etc etc... I have no grudge against that.. but I've been on this planet, existing, for more than 2 decades and I don't have much say in other people's business, heck I don't have much say in my own business but there are some places I have my limits. If i don't like someone, I'll tell them, if I don't want their interference, I'll tell them. I don't have the guts to say that to my parents and siblings yet, but soon.
Emotional development of child is a basic necessity. But spoon feeding that child, smothering them with love and affection 😕 yeah, not a participant of that. Maybe I'll change my mind, maybe, if I do, I'll tell you.

I know how much it hurts even if its coming from young kids. However, since he has repented, considering he was rebellious at that adolescent age of 4 yrs old, forgiving him shouldnt even need to be considered or neglected.😢
I understand why she divorced her horrible ex husband and left but I cannot understand how she could treat her son like that especially when he realised what a brat he had been and wanted to make things right, he was only 4/5 when she left heavily influenced by his horrible grandmother and father!!!, she was very cold to him.

I'm not chinese, but from what I know, their focusing on the son more. If she accepts her son, it could cause a lot of problems to her new in-law. Since Marquis's family won't let go his heir and his husband's family, they won't want heir that not from their family bloodline. Although she won't make her son her new husband's heir but it won't stop people around them from making fuse. Besides, her family also focuses on image, who know that they aren't plotting something 🙄. After all, her new husband might have a higher status from her ex-husband since he is a royal relatives through his grandmother. Since her family already proved to do anything to keep their images by making her married her ex-husband. It won't be a surprise if they can be shameless and their make their grandson succeed her new husband family.
