That was AMAZING! What a wonderful friend, to allow you to come in and view his collection 🤯. Thank you, Terry! Im just stunned at the beauty of everything! Everything! The boats are so ingenious. 👍. How sweet, allowing the boys to have one. It’s so cool to have your kids enjoy rockhounding as much as you. Im also lucky to have a son who loves to hound with me. He’s an adult now but I love it!

Hi Mari,
It's so funny you mentioned the backsplash......Terry made it out of beach rocks himself! I should have included that point in the video!
@@RockhoundingLife Maybe another time! You were all talking in the kitchen and I was waiting for you to show it. 🤣. It looks so cool! Thanks again! That was a 🤯 collection!
Man those agates are fabulous. My absolute fav is that Cape Breton. Wow, stunner

It's crazy!!!
Wow!!! Amazing collection!!
Wow thats amazing!!😍
Terry and Nova Scotia two great things and you can find beautiful rocks at both places. It was nice of him to let the boys pick a piece each. It was a fun trip seeing all the goodness in the area. One question what is tree agate? Keep the goodness coming. Be happy, safe and stay healthy. 😷⚒
Lol Tree rock is an area we hunt for stones there’s a big tree on a large Basalt outcrop ,hence the nickname Tree Rock .It’s a small cove on the way to Amethyst cove further on down the beach
Terry should open a NS rock museum! Very cool!😊
He definitely could!
WOW! GREAT!
WOW!
Absolutely awesome collection Terry, thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing his collection with us! I really love the flame seam agates you guys have. Those knapped pieces are truly incredible!!! He didn't have any crazy agatized limb-casts?? I was surprised about that.
Oh he does.....thet were outside on his deck buried in snow.
That's a great collection. The point coming out of the end of the boats is called a bowsprit btw. Thanks Terry!!
Awesome collection he reminds me of my dad he was a lifetime Rockhound he also used that liquid glass one day I'll do a video of all the raw materials he has a the house tons and tons I don't know what to do with it all
wow! what a collection! what else can i say. no words!
I agree!!!
Wow!😅😅😅
My fave is the blue Cape Breton agate…. Dolomite!
So many awesome agates. Don’t know which I like best. Cape Breton agate or golden flame or cherry flame. So beautiful. Never heard of or seen any of these.
That epoxy to add more watery reflection is genius! Thanks for the video
Glad you liked it!
That is an awesome collection! I love the cherry seam agate, it's so beautiful. I wish that I could come up and visit but right now I can't cross the boarder, not many decades ago I could walk across it and did. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
I remember that time as well! Times sure have changed!
I do not mind the epoxy on those one bit! It makes the stone look wonderful and if it helps keep the rock stable and helps bring out all the beauty of the stone it's a win win in my book.
I was surprised how much I liked the epoxy look as well. It does an amazing job at filling in the cracks to make them disappear. Thanks for watching!
Man that’s awesome!
I collecT also in on theCape' I have some GOOD Rocks AMONGEST I believe theBesT on thePlaneT'
How very cool! Thanks for sharing that with us!💎
Our pleasure!
I just found your channel and you find some amazing stuff. And Terry's collection is..i don't even know how to describe it. Do you know if Terry would be willing so sell the slice from 16:31 or something similar? The blues are spectacular.
Welcome aboard!!! You can email us at our email address in the description of this video and I can connect you to Terry.
Terry sure got some nice stuff you were talking about some of the boats were for sale there was some of the slabs also the tree agate slabs the black white blue Bandz is there any stuff for sale
I'll connect you with Terry
I smell a trip to Cape Breton ? Trapper scotty, Alaskan
How are there so many seam agate variations up there? Man I'm jealous.
بالتوفيق للجميع
Could you please post a high resolution picture of Terry’s hounding map?
I'll see what I can do. The one I have isn't great.
I'm surprised you shared exact locations to find this stuff, people will take advantage of this and scalp those places now, if they haven't already
The places i share are well known locally. Places like scots bay and ross creek are easliy accessed.
@@RockhoundingLife ah ok fair enough ☺
I am trying to learn rock drilling for hand made beads 5 mm and smaller any suggestions would be a start tx
I would try using a dremel with the dremel drill stand.
I think I might be Terry's long lost nephew.....
HAHA....I think we all might be!
Do you know what epoxy Terry uses for his sailboats?
Not sure the brand name but its a two part epoxy that you mix in equal parts. Resin and hardener. You can get something similar at your local craft store.
@@RockhoundingLife thank you so much!!
Your son had that why don’t you use the really cool knife!😂🤣
Sea maggot, they must have been quite big.
Where can we see Terry's stuff for sale?
Email us at rockhoundinglife@gmail.com and i can connect you to him.
