Listening to Dutch talking about his granddaughter was heartbreaking 💔. He really has been THROUGH it. Don’t blame him for what he wanted to go after the fact. I know it’s years later but as a mum I can’t imagine losing a child/grandchild like that.
It is human- most people would have the same thoughts. I would be surprised if someone didn't have thoughts of that nature after having a loved one killed by a selfish buck.
I had a dream that felt so real one time about a drunk driver hitting my wife and my daughter. My wife’s died in that dream, and my daughter survived. And it was because my stepbrother was drunk in that dream and hit them with his car. I remember waking up and.! Because he has multiple DUIs! When I’m basically trying to say is, I really feel for Dutch on this one! Even though mine was just a dream and his reality, I have some small idea what he must be feeling! It’s truly heartbreaking
James has two podcast which I absolutely love. His dynamic with Dutch is not matched in this bubble. His SHOW with Stevie is simply the best . The preparation, investment $ , and topics are for the most part not being done by anyone else. Applause to all three guys. Bright future for James. 🎉
As a Tennessee native, I offer my deepest condolences for his and his families tragic loss and I thank him for speaking out to make it a safer place for the rest of us. My community went through a horrible loss when I was in high school due to a similar situation. I’m thankful for Amelia’s law even though I absolutely hate that we needed it. All the love goes to Dutch Mantell and his family.
Listening to dutch talk about his granddaughter really touched me, i cannot begin to fantom the pain it was, I understand the feeling he had after that, glad it didnt have to go down that path for justice, what a man and what a story of.life, thank you for sharing your experiences with us , hope i get to listen to you for many years to come
I totally feel and understand Dutch, regarding the toughts he had about going in the hospital and give the guy relief from existance. I've been in a pretty similar situation so, I can totally feel him.
My parents lived next door to Ken Wayne in the 70's. My mom told me stories about him having a ring in the yard and seeing all the Memphis wrestlers over there. I hadn't heard the story about him. That's crazy.
Just to express my thanks for the show - absolutely the highlight of my week...as i head into my darkest days these shows (along with Stevie's) ar lifesavers! Best wishes both.
It’s no surprise that Dutch has no sympathy for Tammy Sytch….when you consider the heartbreak him and his family endured with the loss of his grand daughter….i can’t begin to imagine the pain he went through….i hate that such shitty things happen to such nice people like the dirty Dutchman.
damn Dutch I had to pause to cry. I'm very sorry about your Grand daughter. I don't know why but I listen to you like you were my Uncle. Thank you for your service
Wow a full length episode at 1:30+ run time?! Let's GOOOO! Sable is 56 now, so she is a good 7 or 8 yrs older than Brock. So of course she is "overfilled": lip filler, cheek filler, and updated breast implants. She's paranoid, and I would be too bc I am about to be 52, lol..
We have that law and device here in Pennsylvania. Every time you get in your car. You have to blow into it like a breathalyzer. My cousin had to do that for a while.
Amelia’s Law should be adopted by every State. This happened in Colorado: On December 12, 2023, Jose Menjivar drove his pickup truck at speeds estimated to be between 80 and 100 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone near Main Street and Miramonte Boulevard in Broomfield. Menjivar crossed the double yellow centerline as he passed other vehicles. Eventually, Menjivar struck 46-year-old Melissa Powell’s SUV as she turned left from Miramonte onto Main Street. Powell and her 16-year-old son Riordan Powell died as a result of the crash. Officers discovered an overwhelming odor of alcohol coming from Menjivar’s vehicle. There were at least two empty beer cans, and an open beer can found inside the pickup truck. A blood draw determined Menjivar’s blood alcohol content to be .249 (hospital toxicology report); .193 (CBI toxicology), more than three times the legal limit. His sentence was 24 years in prison. A slap on the wrist. When I read that story I thought about Amelia’s Law and how every State should have adopted this Law by now.
James you're so quick you're really funny and I mean that!...... I got a question for Dutch and I'm going to write you some a couple of jokes while I've already got them
Big Bronson was on a hell of a run the last few months since the 6 tsunamis to Rollins. All of that momentum flushed down the toilet, and for what? A clip on social media people will remember for a few days, at most. That's wrasslin' for ya, brother.
I was tearing up listening to Dutch, and while I don't have children, if the same were to happen to any of my sisters whom I'm very close with, one of which actually was in a car accident today caused by a drunk driver, but thankfully nothing serious. I would at the very least have had the the same thoughts as Dutch regardless if I would follow through. Some things are so precious and valuable, and the law is seriously ill equipped at serving out punishments that fit the crimes.
Wish in case of drunk drivers, that every single state, county, city, town, that to drive again, they'd have to have a breath analyzer in all their vehicles in order to drive, and for at least a year, better yet 5 years. Also that there would be a requirement that periodically the police or other legal authority would have to check that it was working and hadn't been tampered with.
The serial killer wrestler is actually the real story of standup comedian Vince Champ. He wasn't a serial killer, but a serial rapist. That guy was a real jerk!
14:57 wasn't there a boxer named Donovan Razor Ruddock? He went the distance with Mike Tyson and lost by decision. Not sure why a wrestler would steal his name.
Small correction to his statements on AEW Fight Forever. Currently 26 players, 27 players 24-hour peak and 2210 all-time peak 1.5 years ago. This is taken directly from steamdb and is based on players who purchased it on Steam. More facts. 2208 players 29, Jun 2023 2210 players 30, Jun 2023. 1430 players 1 Jul, 2023 1012 players 2 Jul 2023. So day 1 was high and they raised 2 within 24 hours. Then within 2 more days they had less than half of their peak and it didn't come back. There was a small peak 15 Jul, 2023 where they went from 249 the day before and peaked that day at 765 but dropped back down to 239. So not sure how they tripled their numbers in a day but lost them again. Compare to WWE 2K24 1541 players right now, 1713 24-hour peak and 8,789 all-time 9 months ago. Compare to WWE 2K23 148 players right now, 195 24-hour peak and 6,535 all-time 1.8 years ago. Compare to WWE 2K22 - Online Servers were shutdown 31 Dec 2023. 40 players right now, 59 24-hour peak and 9,535 all-time 2.8 years ago.
When you get stuff graded, there are really only a couple of companies that are seen as legitimate. CGC is the biggest one and kind of the name brand of grading. Costs 100 or more to get something graded, so a lot of times, let's say you buy 120 dollar graded item, the item is probably estimated as worth about 20 bucks, and the 100 is basically for it's graded state in the case
I talked to Ken Wayne a bunch of times at shows he was having around savannah Tennessee. When I heard he had been arrested for that we never went back to his shows
Is it just me or does it seem that Dutch speaks and understand spanish much better than he let us think? I mean he was so many times and so long inPuerto Rico. He certainly has learned some spanish, hasn't he?
As a father to young kids, I can't imagine what Dutchs family endured with their tragic loss. All I can say about Dutch wanting to kill the guy is Amen, and any sane society would just say "ohdearwhatapitynevermind" if he had put the guy in the ground.
I think Ricochet said that to get people talking about him. Because it's a no brainer that such lines would trigger, at least some people, in the wrestling community. Because he can't mean that on an honest standpoint?
Heritage are scammers who just made retro games way more expensive. Grading cards are also scams. You can rip a 9.25 graded card out of it's grading shell & send it back then get a 9.75 or 10. It isn't based on anything but an opinion.
i don't watch AEW but if Ricochet seems slower, do you think it might be cause of being in WWE, working with all sizes & styles, not just his own?? (as well as age & injury).
I feel for Dutch losing his granddaughter but how many stories have we heard of wrestler drinking and driving while they traveled city to city. So many are guilty by either doing it themselves or by passively allowing it from those they were traveling with.
It’s not just lock up the people that are a danger to themselves n others, it’s also to rehabilitate them (so they say) so you become a better person if you ever get out. Unfortunately that’s not how the jail system works, n it’s not like every criminal has no heart, they’re normal people like u or me that’s been pushed too far…not there’s definitely people that like doing crime that’s a different story
Wish more wrestlers were like Samoa Joe. Instead, wrestlers stand in one spot waiting to catch someone so that their opponent can jump on them. Also, it never makes sense when wrestlers all huddle together to catch someone who dives at them. If I'm their opponent, I'm getting out of the way.
I'm from germany and IDK what the exactly punishment here is for such a case. But I'm 100% sure that person would never drive a car again, as his driver license will be taken away from him. And IDK what that thig is in that persons car who checks if he is sober. But he could very well rent a car or just get a car from a person he knows. So I would say taking the driver license away might work better. But some years in prison are also required here. Even more if that person already has done a similar thing.
If you guys wanna hear some in depth stories about wrestling criminals . Check out the crime in sports podcast . They have quite a few wrestler episodes including all the ones mentioned here .
I honestly don't think Ricochet's comments aren't that crazy. His style which was crafted overseas is pretty much mimicked by 60% of the AEW roster. Cats in CMLL, AAA, New Japan have adopted it as well. I'm not sure how popular Will Osprey would be without the Best of the Super Jrs tournament and it could be argued that his and Ricochet's best matches came from that tournament whether it was against each other or otherwise. New Japan's peak was 2012-2016 which featured him, Osprey, Omega, and the Bucks, not coincidentally a formula Tony Khan brought to America for a more widespread audience to consume. Tony Khan was/is a fanboy of guys like Ricochet and Ricochet is only articulating it.
I’m sorry, but AEW right now their product isn’t drawing shit. Not a goddamn dime that company isn’t drawing anything. Their crowds are ridiculous are completely lame. No reactions to anything that the performers are doing. They couldn’t draw flies if they were covered in shit
I would have never recognized Sable on that picture. And I never understand why some women put morep alstic in their body than any kid has in their toy box!

So many critical comments about Sable's current look these days. I'm sure coming from real supermodels LOL. Looking closely at the picture it appears she's wearing a wig, which may be indicative she's been sick and dealing with an illness. I'm just speculating, have no information to go on. At any rate, my point, people are very brave online as always.
