See you soon...
(Undertale by Toby Fox)
Now this is a creepypasta done right. Sonic.exe and the rest can't even be as great as this. No blood, gore, cursing, vore, jump scares, or anything, just pure creepiness and an actually good story. You don't need lame scare tactics to make a creepypasta. I would love to see something like this for Deltarune when it's fully released.
casually mentions vore
Haha, thank you. I wouldn’t put this pasta on that high of a level compared to the giants that are Sonic.exe(even if the original pasta is quite mediocre in terms of writing), but it makes me happy folks like it that much!
I know! The best kind!
(Feel free to interpret the ending however you see fit. That was the intention nonetheless.)
This series did have a few jumpscares (though they weren't some "horrifying images")
@@devilredd
Btw how did they got part of SOUL from FLOWEY?
This is such a perfect climax for this series. It somehow parodies both main endings of Undertale, while completely undermining them, and combining them with the new concepts of this creepypasta. Player2 pushes us to the end beyond our control, forcing us to fight Sans, watching the souls destroy Asgore when he tries to take them (also that use of his unused roaring sprites was horrifying), until finally, we're face to face at the barrier, the end limits of the game, while Player2 casually rips apart Flowey as if plucking petals to find out if someone loves them.
But speaking of LOVE... despite being at this ultimatum, they acknowledge the damage that's been done, and yet by puppetting Frisk, by forcing the player's hand in their twisted game, they did not reap the benefits. Frisk, the player, we killed them, no matter if it was our choice or not. We claimed the EXP, we raised our LOVE, ours numbers increased, not Player2's. Meanwhile Player2 sits there, finally actually doing the damage themself, and feeling disgusted by it. Despite everything they made us do, when they do something as simple as kill one being (granted- the one being besides the players that would have some understanding of what's happening), it torments them. While we distanced ourselves from our emotions with LOVE, Player2 became closer to their emotions through gaining a soul, and all the fragments scream at them to stop. But unlike Asriel, whose undoing are these emotions, Player2 hates them, and knows exactly what they have to do to end them.
So despite us being their puppet the whole way, despite never laying a finger on us even when we try to fight back, Player2 has no hesitance in taking what they want from us now that our use has run dry. And that's exactly what happens. They ask for our help, and finally, _finally_ when we get a chance to fight back, using what we know to invoke our lack of ability to accept mercy to try and stop Player2 in their tracks...
They end it.
We slice through their mask, sure, but to them that only means we dared to touch God. And with no flair, no drama, the entire cruel facade is dropped with that mask. They simply rush in and take what they desire.
And with that soul, they can cut out the middle man. They can finally reach the name they've been calling out this whole time. Not Frisk, not the player, but the name the player inputted, and forced upon the one who is really in control.
I also love the fact that Chara has no qualms teaming up with Player2. After all, Chara's connection to the player allowed them to leach off of that LOVE as well, so they've become just as distant as Player2 with their newly acquired soul. So now that two true monsters have met, they can finally make the world their playground, and take back their control of this world from the player.
_Freedom abjured._
Glad you enjoyed! : )
the worst part about this series is how short it is. i really liked it! the animations are fantastic and perfectly capture toby's style. the dialogue is perfectly like his writing style, and that ending sequence was awesome. im very much looking forward to whatever creepypasta shenanigans you have cooking up next! great series, man :o)
Thank you very much! It will be awhile until then, but I will say I have future plans.
Again, glad you enjoyed the finale of Gonerdweller. Thank you!
So Scary good job!
my favorite moment was when they fought back against Player2, seemingly leading into this long epic battle, only for that idea to IMMEDIATELY be shot down. so many antagonists that are capable of ending the hero in an instant never just do that, so it was a surprise to see one that actually did
yeah that was horrifying
I think my favorite part of this series is that it not only acknowledges, but *embraces* the themes of the original narrative. A lesser pasta would have reduced Player2's gambit to a mindless "SOULs = Power;" instead, this acknowledges that the SOUL fragments Player2 has gathered are wracking them with emotions-but whereas this same power overwhelmed and declawed Asriel in the original story, Player2 pushes down these emotions, regarding them with disgust.
Therein lies a key difference between the two-though from his perspective, it feels like an eternity ago, Asriel *had* emotions, once. Having them again was something of a "weakness" for him.
Player2 has no such weaknesses.
I now think the theory about the amalgams (where Player2 is collecting souls to forge them into one) is true, just based on the description
I was VERY VERY wrong
Good thing Underevent introduced me to this because holy hell this is great, why didn't I find this out sooner?
The fact you skipped the Sans Fight entirely is so funny cause something like this made by a lesser writer would have had an entire video based on the Sans Fight alone
Sans wasn’t a core aspect of the story, nor would his moment be any different than base game “No Mercy”
Same with Asgore with the addition of the human SOULS attacking him rather than Flowey or a suicide.
@@devilredd honestly i would like to see what Sans had to say through, and, was sans's offscreen battle the same? like, was the mercy button pressed leading to an early victory?
*(The familiar darkness exits the room.)
*(Dawn is dulling onto the barrier.)
*(It feels like his adventure has just begun.)
*(You’re filled with
*P U R E D R E A D* .)
I’m very confused. How did player2 take direct control? Why did they wait until Toriel to do so? And what the hell is up with that ending?
Is Chara working with or against us? I’d think with us (Assuming the host is Player2), but it’s not clear
And the ending “Freedom Abjured”. What does that mean. Did player2 win? Or was player2 the one who had their “Freedom Abjured”. There’s so many questions and interpretations and it kinda hurts my head
So in summary: Generic edgy OC 495 makes the player kill everyone, then takes over the game. Maybe I'm just being a cynical jerk, but I'm a bit disappointed in how this turned out. I feel this is just more of the same themes and ideas already present in the genocide run; You have the obvious killing everyone thing, but the idea of taking control away from the player is already a thing as well with chara destroying/erasing the world wether or not you agree with them, and afterwards with them killing everyone at the end of any run regardless of what ending you get.
You know, thank you. Like genuinely. I honestly do agree this was your typical “Pasta OC big bad” and I won’t sugar coat it. While yes, I could have gone and created something much different I chose to play it safe and go with something familiar.
The series was merely a test at making a story without the use of tropes that were akin to hyper realism, gore and such. Although I won’t deny I am guilty of making, as you put it, “Generic edgy OC 495.”
In the future I will attempt to break away from that, but nonetheless, thank you for your honest feedback.
Normally, the relation of chara and the player1 interpreted by everyone is that they are "enemies"
But here is like that meme
"Never thought i die fighting side by side with Chara"
"What about side by side with a fellow partner?"
"Aye, i could work with that"
If the ending is open ended (and since in canon Chara hates genocide) then I could literally say that Chara at some point 1v1s Player2, like Chara said in the second genocide route...
*S I N C E W H E N W E R E Y O U T H E O N E I N C O N T R O L ? =)*
Fight ensues with you being Chara.
I'd like to think Chara won since Player2 got hit once.
I'm in love with this kind of endings, while it can be bittersweet for others, i find it amusing how ambiguous it leaves it leaving you wondering what will happen next, it's also fascinating how this series has managed to stay fresh and original while also being genuinely creepy and tense at times, from Papyrus' scene in Snowdin, Undyne's meltdown, the elevator scene from last video, and the entirety of this one, it's been a while since a creepypasta has kept me this tense while watching, and i love it.
Also the visuals were amazing too, not to mention that i really like Player2's design
Amazing job at creating it, very well done!
Thank you!
I am glad you enjoyed!
@@devilredd Thank YOU for making it! ^^
absolutely incredible work with this entire series. i felt tense from the start all the way to the end
unfortunately the fact they have "our" soul in them is now a big weak point for them any other player can exploit.
"the red strings of fate cannot be broken from the inside only from the outside, They bind like chains and are our way of controlling our vessal."
"player 2" just made himself into any other players vessal.
tldr: congrats you played yourself, the sacrifice of one human player will now bring about your down fall.
This is some serious gold I found here. God bless Underevent for introducing me to this goated creepypasta. Man that was good.
His has been a very good animation,i will stay connected for whatever you may do next.
Although short, I really enjoyed and loved this little creepypasta! I'm a big sucker for them regardless of quality, but this was astonishingly well-made! I tend to be very critical with how Undertale characters are written and portrayed but this series nailed every single one of them on the head- it genuinely feels like something out of Toby's mind, and he's no stranger to creepypastas either (Flowey as a character was inspired by Face from Godzilla NES, apparently, and Undertale even seems like its own creepypasta of itself in a lot of ways) so it's a wonder there aren't more creepypastas of the game like this one out there. The quality of it all is insane, it looks identical to the game itself, the sprites and sound design are on point, everything felt so ominous and horrid- but nothing will make me happier than the fact that the character writing was so accurate that before it even visually appeared on screen, I could still manage to tell when "Chara" started speaking. Bravo, this was fantastic, and I'm honestly mad at myself for not finding this sooner.
I'm really excited for this!, I'm sure it will be very, very, interesting...
This was an amazing creepypasta and series!, I enjoyed every video of it!, especially this ending!, the beginning with all the monsters being killed and asgore absorbing the souls gave me chills!, and the ending was really creepy!, you and everyone else involved did a wonderful work!
Actually, to clear this up as simply as I can, Asgore was being attacked by the SOULS, not absorbing them.
I figured that scene would be confusing to some, but to cut down on time we cut it short.
Apologies for the misconception!
@@devilredd Oh, alright then!, thanks for telling me!, I can't wait for your future projects!
Nice work
The art in this series was great
The scariest and the best Undertale CREEPYPASTA ever...
This is really epic and I get what the ending was going for which is epic. 10/10, epic
This was...something. I wish there were more Undertale creepypastas out there, besides this one and both stories of Undertale No Mercy
This series scared the living crap out of me, since you can feel the player's helplessness at wanting to stop their friends from dying at the hands of player 2.
Sad that this isn’t getting a continuation it’s amazing but it really is short but sweet
spooky yet awesome. no jumpscares, just...tactics.
I wonder if this is truly over, and if so, if Player 2 will ever appear anywhere else in your creations.
Apologies, this is the end of Player2’s appearance. Gonerdweller is merely a test of my creativity with the Creepypasta genre. Again, I apologize for this is genuinely the end.
Oh, ok. Before The Finale airs, I simply have two questions.
1: What happened to the amalgamates (unless that’s a spoiler)?
2: What does P2’s face look like underneath his mask?
@@devilredd It’s a shame that it ends now, it left so many possibilities open that I hope the finale can cover at least most of them, because that’s how good you made this mini series! I’m still wondering about stuff in this series because of your talent, like that scene with papyrus, that room with the echo flowers, the reason behind Frisk disobeying the player.. I think? You did a great job keeping me and many others hooked, if this was just a test for the genre, you’ve nailed it! Best of luck in whatever you make afterwards! :)
@@devilredd I'm a little disappointed we didn't get more interaction with the Undertale cast and how they fare with the changed circumstances + Player2's interference, but I'm glad this didn't overstay its welcome the way I think a lot of ARG-style creepypastas do. It's short, sweet and pretty unique. Color me interested for what you do next.
@@Colddirector As much as I would’ve love to do more interactions, the series was planned since the beginning to be short. That and long episodes are HELL to make haha, I’d be working Max to the bone.
But joking aside, I am genuinely happy with how the series stands!
I was hoping sans would know something here but unfortunately not
This is so freaking crazy!!
I swear to all hell if this doesnt become its own game ever, then ill be extremely sad. This is so cool and an interesting idea, and I would live to be able to actually feel whats happening in a first-ish person perspective. You, sir, have made a masterpiece on par with other masterful creepypastas, like Sonic EYX, without any of the "JuMpScArEs." This is something like i havent seen before.
ALSO, my interpretation of this is that this is supposed to be a Hard Mode run, and this "Gonerdweller" had extended it. Chara, being self-aware, watched the whole journey. Thus, after our mysterious captor had absorbed us, literally us, Chara, also being tethered to the soul, has reached out to us, and is going to be a new ally.
I am sad to disclose that Gonerdweller will never become a game. This is a personal choice, I apologize. This series has served its purpose, and has no reason to become anything more than what it already is. Thank you for enjoying however!
@devilredd Dang. Well, I respect your choices, as I know how difficult it could be to do something like an entire Undertale game with just some changes(and any stress from after the release). One question though; If someone reached out to you and asked to make a fangame, what would you say?
Someone already has actually! I said sure but then it never came to fruition. Which in all honesty, with time I’m actually glad it didn’t. It’s best that this story remains unplayable, making this series feel unique as one person has documented it. Like Petscop in a sense?
So if someone were to ask me now, my answer would absolutely be “No.”
@devilredd I didn't even think of that before. That's honestly neat. I did think about making my own thing at one point, but high-school has kinda stopped it. If you ever make something like this again, I'll make sure to watch. And if I ever do make something, I'll reference you for inspiration.
I'm a little confused on the ending - my interpretation was either Player2 impersonated Chara to trick the player into thinking they would wrest control from Player2 together, so he could get consent to do as he pleased, or Player2 was addressing Chara directly to remove the players control over them. Are either of those on the mark?
Allow me to clear up that detail.
In Undertale, Chara upon Frisk’s arrival is “attatched” to them in some way.
Here, after being placed within Player2, Chara TOO resides within to offer a way to get back control much like when they took over Asriel’s body to attack humans.
The final line, “Freedom abjured” simply means “Your belief in freedom is to be disagreed with,” told from the perspective of Player2 for their affiliation with the term.
The ending is open ended, up for interpretation on what happens next.
Hopefully this helps understand a little bit better!
@@devilreddso chara is helping out frisk/the player or player2? Awesome creepypasta by the way. Would adore to see more stuff like this
Deltarune Gonerdweller?
Gonerdweller has come to a close, there will be no more Undertale/Deltarune content being supplied to this channel. My apologies.
I honestly love the parallelism between Kris ripping out his soul and Player2 absorbing it
i am shocked that i havent seen any comments talking about how horrifying it is that player2 just nonchalantly killed flowey. he is one of the few characters to ever have control over the timeline, and player2 literally rips him apart.
That was really good, and i comment on every single video of this creepypasta when i say this- so unnerving- i didn't like the ending, my favorite character is frisk, but that doesn't mean i hated the whole thing :3
Although... (
I just wonder, what happened with such creatures as Redacteda and Mysteryman?
My takeaway is that at the end the fragments of souls collected by the antagonist that he formed into his own jury rigged soul began to "take back control" from him.
Somehow. Someway. I just knew. Chara..... Wouldn't allow another to snatch away what's theres.
it really just reminds me of true geno how sparing kills the monster
The end got me confused!
Here's some questions that I got!
1) was chara interrupted or it was planned?
2)was sans fight skipped or he got hit instantly?
3)if frisk was able to hit player2, does that mean that it can die by normal attacks?
4) were undyne, papyrus and asgore only ones killed different? If yes then why?
I imagine that after this a fight with soulless/demon Chara against Gonerdweller would occur. That would be fun to watch, might suggest it to some Undertale animators that I watch, with your permission of course.
I would recommend not to, for I want to disconnect the concept of Player2 from Undertale. Not to be treated as an Undertale “Original Character” but as a “Unknown Character” thrown into Undertale. Hope this makes sense?
Well, now that has left me wondering, what if you used glitches/exploits to stop yourself from being forced to kill some of the monsters
That's exactly what I've been thinking, I thought it'd be fun to implement actual responses to such in an actual game.
@@zaxentothegreedy7816 I'd love to see Player2's reaction to the player using the punch card glitch to avoid bosses like Muffet or the Guards, Sans could also be skipped in that regard
@@Ketakamine You might get a chance to see just that. I'm working on a decompilation of Undertale Source code to make debugging a Gonerdweller Mod much easier, and have also discussed and wrote notes with my friend Fanimator.
Creator of this creepypasta answered to this question already
They would be surprised and tell you that you're just a dirty hacker.
@@zaxentothegreedy7816 Just use Undertale mod tool, it'll make your job way easier
what software do you use for animation? and its also sad that this good series is ending. even though I am late.
Software? I mostly animate using Aseprite! However this whole video isn’t an animation, it was made in Undertale’s engine itself!
Finally Asgore show his face in the battle.
P e r f e c t .
Why did the 6 human souls attacked asgore
Idk if joining chara was a good idea because i can't tell if the final sequence was P2 tricking us or just chara trying to be scary (again)
Chara: nice u killed them =)
Frisk: what is happing 😐
Nah bro. Give me that game in particular.
This is cool
2 questions:
-Why does the human souls attack asgore and what happened to those souls after that?
-Is there ANY monster that wasn't killed (even "not important" monsters)?
1) They were manipulated by “Player2” to attack Asgore. After, its best to assume those SOULs shattered along with Asgore’s SOUL.
2) Any monster without a designated battle script. (i.e. Alphys). So overworld NPCs, Shop Vendors, anyone that you can’t fight or apply damage to.
@@devilreddfor 2, what happens to them for the ending?
Great creepypasta, are you gonna make an alternate ending to this?
Nope, this is the end! Glad you enjoyed!
Perhaps i am a little too late but...i loved the design of player 2, did you made all of the pixel art for the creepypasta?
Yes!
Or well, at least the stuff not included with vanilla Undertale
Lore of (Undertale Creepypasta) Gonerdweller - The End momentum 100
woah nice, underrated lol
What happened in the end? (also player_2's fate as well)
Up to interpretation. After all that has been said, what outcome would you see fit?
I still have a question.. What does "Gonerdweller" mean? Is this 2 words combined or something? Man, this creepypasta is so good tho..
Hmm yes yes, very impressive creepypasta. Very unique, but have you ever heard of my weapon called; “Alt+F4?”
funnily enough im pretty sure in the waterfall ending the player literally tries to do that multiple times lol
@@rihcdar i thought all the player tried to do was quit the game the normal way (hold down esc)
either way though, even if you did leave, the damage is already done-- you're just leaving it to be better than it could've ended up being
@@MegaLolmann yeah they use their mouse to press the offscreen x button on the window too
but yeah you're right lol

How about another one of your Undertale fan works about the main characters taking revenge on the Player in the genocide run with ASGORE being the final boss _with_ Gonerdweller on the player's side?
Apologies, there will be no Undertale/Deltarune content from me from now on. Anything supplied to the channel will be original.
@@devilredd Even though this Spamton G. Spamton Elevenlabs test is a thing?
redd you can explain me a thing? first: frisk dont noticed what if press mercy you kill?
second: if press fight it yet will kill or?
third: chara says about take back control, but how will take back control without a soul?
and last: you pretend do a continuation?
I'm pretty sure that FIGHT still kills
1) Frisk notices the MERCY kill, but cannot do anything about it. We are in control.
2) FIGHT still kills, yes.
3) We, the player, are ONE with the SOUL. We are trapped within Player2 at the end. So to break out, you must gain control from within.
4) No.
imagine a playable version
That is a funny thought indeed. But there was only one copy, and has since been abandoned.
@@devilredd That is quite unfortunate indeed. I guess nothing can be don't about it now can it. I'm just happy that it was documented here. Otherwise the rarity of this copy would have certainly been lost to time.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Imagine you being the "chara" and can't even shut down your pc. If that was me i would rather throw the pc out in the window than doing this "Genocide" run
is player2 kris?!

Извините но кто-то может пояснить что тут происходит?
Sorry, but can someone explain what's going on here?
Was the ending meant that the world is destroyed or something else? (And along with the game being deleted)
also masontale exists
Am i the only one that doesnt get this history?
Im confused
real
Tbh a normal player can easily defeat gonerdweller ( he only fought Chara not the player and also more into it only frisk also most likely as we don’t see the 6 human soul it’s most likely he needed them to do it )
I have some questions:
1 what do you mean abjured freedom,
2: so chara beat asgore with 6 souls
3: so those soul pieces were for the 2 player to be complete.
4: then the player will finally be able to do a pacifist route without any consequences
1) “Freedom abjured” is a term that means “Your freedom has been taken away”
2) No. Asgore was ATTACKED by the 6 SOULS.
3) It was so that Player2 can make an artificial Monster SOUL. Even with that, it wasn’t enough to be whole, so they took “Chara’s” SOUL as well.
4) No. A genuine Pacifist route is entirely and absolutely impossible with Player2 attached to the game. They cannot be removed nor can you avoid their influence.
family guy!!!
Was your friend murdered, or are they ok?
He is getting some well deserved rest as well as lots of soup!
Wait, is he ill? Also, I real quick want you to make sure that Player Two’s Gonerdweller Form hasn’t made its way into our world somehow.
It’s now only a mater of time till we see Player2 spit bars at some random blue haired migit
Lmao nah. I only gave permission to one person to use Gonerdweller for a mod, but thats still in the air for some time.
