SCATS use to be a reasonable price to get into Hovercraft (I am old with 30+ years in Hovercraft) I never owned one always have homebuilts, but have "piloted a few" I couldn't get use to single engine setups having to be on the throttle for lift, but to each their own. Welcome to an interesting hobby (many don't have the grit to stick with so time will tell... if you don't mind tinkering). They use to sell a trailer with a "swinging tilt bed" so you wouldn't be fighting the thrust to fly off the trailer.
It won’t hover on the trailer because the trailer has holes underneath letting the air go down the trailer instead of the skirt. You can hover on the ground for sure with missing a skirts.

Ya i would imagine dual engine would make more sense, but the scat design i think was great for mass production Thanks for watching!

yes they make them, i found some on ebay, i think they were about 400 bucks.
