In my opinion invader is also another arch that covers the hunter "weaknesses" with a decoy on command and movement speed and increased evade window for the moments when you gotta stay in the pocket (CQC)
@@londononion also, what would you recommend if I don't have the Top Heavy mutator? And what about the Huntmaster? Kinda digging it more than the Widowmaker for some reason.
@@I.K485if not top heavy, I would go with slayer. If I remember correctly, reloading increases damage of the next shot for a short period of time. The huntmaster has greater efficiency but less burst damage effectiveness. Technically one’s weapon choice is preferential. But I figured the silver back would function similarly to the huntmaster
Great build! I’m just leveling up the Hunter to try it. Question: Soul Link lifesteals 5% of minion base damage. But what is the base damage of a minion? Unlike with weapons, there is no minion “card”. Minion damage is always buffed with something or other so it’s hard to tell on the firing range whether 5% is very much. And who wants to waste a precious ring slot?
Roughly, I’ve observed minions inflict anywhere from 200 to 600+ damage; give or take depending on weak spot and critical damage. Hollows and flyers typically occupy the lower range while the reaver will occupy the higher range. It’s difficult to consistently tell what their raw base damage is, all I can conclude is that soul link regeneration will be noticeably faster than regrowth on its own while in the middle of combat. A fun way to test their efficacy (which I didn’t show directly in the video) is to consume two reprocessed hearts at the shooting range and watch the difference of minions vs no minions and how quickly one replenishes health

Admittedly, I haven’t unlocked this class yet, but based on my rudimentary understanding of the class, I anticipate it being worth exploration
I hope that once you do, you like it enough to make a vid about it I'm currently optimizing mine.
@@yaelcarrasquillo1675 just recently unlocked it. I reckon there will be a video in the future. Plenty of experimentation will be required first
Thanks! What about engineer + hunter? More survivability?
Fair question, when I get to the engineer, I may consider this pairing
