Well it's been a great long weekend so far I've really enjoyed it here's to another great day today and thank you Blackpool for making us Skinheads and Punk's feel more than welcome in your town.
Hi Steve. Another great video from you. Blackpool has excelled themselves in the past couple of weeks with all the packed events that they have had on. I bet the bars and restaurants and hotels have made a mint as the glorious weather has helped as well. So may be in the winter when we are in a deep freeze all the owners will be somewhere hot and sunny spending all the dosh that they had made from all the visitors that they had to all these events.
The punks that attend Rebelion weekend have always been way more chilled and behaved than the like of say the young farmers that attend annually.still loving the aray of fashion and hair. Cheers 👍
Well - That's certainly brought in the revenue ! I didn't think I would know any of the artists but I was surprised to find I knew a few of them .Lovely day in Blackpool . Nice one Stephen .
Been around the "alternative" music scene for nearly 40 years & very rarely seen any trouble. All there just to have a good time & enjoy the music. Rebellion was scaled back last year as was put together quite late, they didn't think it would go ahead initially. It's usually more punk than alternative, but with the extra stage on the prom they branched out a bit. It looks really well organised so thanks for showing & thanks to those that have organised it & working to help everyone enjoy. Think a big win for Blackpool this year. 😀
Bloody hell, Hawkwind were playing? 'Hurry On Sundown' is a great song; they chucked Lemmy from Motorhead out for taking the wrong drugs 😂. Great footage, Steve; it's a great channel👍.
I love your video I enjoyed rebellion it was a fantastic 4 days. And thank you for taking the time to go out and film. I've watched all 3 superb mate 👌
Looks good business for all the Blackpool business owners, pubs, clubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. It’s good to see so many well behaved, (unlike the Young Farmers earlier in the year), punk and rock fans. Good on them and good for Blackpool. I used to be a Hawkwind fan what a massive tune “Silver Machine” was. My music taste has changed now. Nice mini vlog Stephen 😉👌
well done mate , had so many nice compliments by blackpool folks saying how great the punk weekend is even the police like us being there cuss theres no trouble up the punks
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always I've never seen so many people but so great for blackpool traders tower looks amazing as always looks lovely weather too have a great day xx
I love The Primitives. They are not strictly a Punk band but a Indie band that featured on C86 NME Tape. Morrissey out of the Smiths a big fan. Very popular mainstream UK Chart band in Late 80's to early 90's. I have seen them at the Riverside Venue in Newcastle 1988 & Mayfair & 89. Lead singer Tracy Tracy, lead Guitarist Paul Court & drummer Tig Williams constant members of the Primitives. They are from Coventry. I have LP CD's. 'Pure', 'Lovely' & 'Galore'. 'Crash' reached no 5 in UK chart in february 88, other top 40 hits 'Stop killing me', 'Way behind me' which they did on Wogan 'Out of Reach', 'Secrets' & 'Sick of it' in 89. Not strictly a Punk band but liked by Punks. Same genre as Transvision Vamp, Darling Buds & Voice of the Beehive. On seafront stage as they are more mainstream Indie/New Wave.
Im normally at rebellion, untill late 3 years. Started about 97, if I remember it was called holidays/wasted? in the sun ,but at Morecambe . Never any trouble, if it is it's usually let's say a none punk person. Hopefully I'll be back next year , Might see you there👍🏻
Stephen, I was in Blackpool on Saturday at 2:30pm but I was in the Blackpool Tower Dungeon. I tried looking out for you on my way over. I have written a letter for you and it's with your mate Chris 🙂
youtube needs to fire its staff. i've got punk and goth as the only thing i've watched for weeks now and i get nothing for suggestions except bullshit.

Yeah
Our hero - boldly going where most "normal" people wouldn't be seen dead lol!

There's nothing rebellious about the Rebellion Festival, it's just another money making event no different to any other.
Doesn't matter about that it is a great festival enjoyed by many. Brings lots of money to Blackpool too.
