This is going to be long: Okay, I'm 35 seconds into the video and Shane is talking about answering personal questions. I never asked any because I never wanted to pry into y'all's personal life.🙂 Okay, so it's not viewer questions. I got that. Okay, I'll just keep watching now, lol. I like too many TV shows to have one favorite. 😁 Okay, since you asked us to chime in on the questions, My favorite TV shows: I can't pick one. Dukes of Hazzard, Twilight Zone (original and early 2000s remake), Addams family (original), Law & Order, Blue Bloods, and other police TV shows. Favorite places- within NJ my favorites are anywhere in Salem and Cumberland Counties. Outside NJ: New York City, and any place in the South and Appalachia. Hobbies: I love old cars, actually any kind of vehicle, not just cars. Also local history, family history, and postal history, which means collecting anything that goes through the mail, mostly old. Also postcards. Also photography. How could I forget that? I almost did. Okay, books: I collect books on New Jersey and South Jersey specifically. I collect them with the intent of reading them, but I'm bad at actually getting around to reading. I get into everything else and then don't read. I should be reading the Bible, but haven't been. I admit that. Super power: Probably invisibility. The other one would the ability to snap my fingers and be somewhere else in an instant. Movies: My favorite is "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly", but really, anything Clint Eastwood. But there are several others I could list. Best concert I've ever been to: That's easy, cause I've only ever been to one. It was the Moody Blues with an orchestra. I think it was in 1993. Favorite foods: That's hard to say, but I love Italian, but I love other stuff too, like burgers and dogs, and I love breakfast, like pancakes. One time in the south I tried gravy and biscuits and loved it. My most treasured possessions: Any of my artifacts of our family history or family heirlooms, and then items I've had since childhood, like my teddy bear and a bunch of other things. Okay, that was fun. I enjoyed that.
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I absolutely love the Twilight Zone and The Good, the Bas and the Ugly - anything with Clint Eastwood is going to be good.

@@kesmarn Yes, u r so correct. My dad instilled in me...'it's not what you've done but rather what you're doing that's important'. That was defiantly a special & strong generation.
Love that little halo over your head, Shane!! I think its a wind chime.

@@shaneandmelody my daughter went to a book signing for Don’t Blow Yourself Up and got me an autographed copy. He is a treasure.
Where can I get his book
His book is on Amazon under Legends & Lore of East Tennessee or you can get a signed copy by PayPal by sending $22 (which includes shipping) to appalachianproject16@gmail.com - thank you!
Guys, this was so much fun! I love Shane/John Anderson interpretations. Shane is hilarious. We need to hear Old Chunk of Coal from Shane/John Anderson. It is so hard to distinguish between the two. They sound so much alike. LOL! Maybe we could get Melody to sing some Loretta Lynn? LOL. Be sure to put my 100 points in your book!
Your 100 points are credited to your account lol. I love Old Chunk of Coal so that’s a definite possibility lol
Love you guys❤
Thank you 🙏
Are you two dating or married?
I have a question for you are you all couple are you all just really good friends be honest melody you are a wonderful person
Memphis, NYC, and New Orleans. 3 of the most dangerous cities in the United States!
Very very true
I'm with my disabled husband and family. Just sitting around alot.. watch alot of tv tho. We live in Gunbarrel City Texas. Not much out here anyhow
What a great name Gunbarrel City is, that’s fantastic
Yep love applatcha
How did you meet? How long have you known one another?
That is a longggggg answer but we’ll tell that story in a future video
@@shaneandmelody Okay, will stay tuned 👋
Hello guys we would like to no if you to are married or just goodfriends
I'd also love to know!
Did they not say?
I wonder why they dont just tell us?
We’re not married even though we bicker like it! Haha
@@shaneandmelody How do you know one another? Did you meet at school or work?
My favorite TV shows are treasure hunting and or mysteries. The Curse of Oak Island. I love it. Hobby is working out. I try to go 4 days a week but life interrupts alot anymore. I have a 16 month old grandson and love him so much. A hobby I would like to do would be mountain climbing. I love to push myself very hard. Shane I have lost interest in sports too.
I really like the curse of oak island too, can’t explain why but I do lol
@@shaneandmelody I love the history they are finding, this year will be exciting. They are doing work under ground at the womens memorial. Dumas mining! I am an Oak Island nerd I think.😂😂
Okay, since you asked us to chime in on the questions, My favorite TV shows: I can't pick one.
@@shaneandmelody Hey, did you ever hear of a movie called "Conrack"? It's about a man (played by John Voight) who takes a job teaching in a one-room school in a poor black community on a rural island off South Carolina. It's based on a book called "The water is wide". It's one of my favorite movies. I think you'd like it. I think it's from the early 70s.
my super power would be to fly, no more car and all the costs and headaches that go along with vehicle ownership lol
I switched devices to comment on this. My dream job is working for the AT&T UA-cam channel!!!

You have to go to Yellowstone. Greatest place on earth.

Great Hot legs cover!😄
Quilting is a very big hobby in response to Melody's comment about being something she wants to learn. In fact there is a new quilt retreat center in Mouth of Wilson in Grayson County Virginia. This is operated by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville Inn.
That sounds great! Thank you for letting me know!
Yes guys jesus
Hot biscuits and apple butter.

Shane check out Dr. Berry BBBE challenge. I did this and still do to this day. I lost 90lbs and feel great. Also, for Melody... Shane doesn't sing a lot he is just reciting lyrics in a rhythmic voice. 🤣
I’ll check it out, thanks for the heads up

@@kesmarn sometimes the original is better. The shows just aren’t as good to me.
I couldn’t agree more - I can barely watch the color episodes, huge drop off
@@shaneandmelody Yes! I'm not sure what causes it, but it does seem to be a pretty consistent thing! I never get tired of the original Andy Griffith episodes though. (Could I possibly be getting a little older? Nah...)

Ugh I hate sitcoms. It's basically just a bunch of corny one-liners. One of the worst is the golden girls. Whoever was the writer for that show was a sick pervert. Just for fun one time I wrote down how long the show would run without a sick sequel innuendo or something referring to sex and the average was 40 seconds. The ENTIRE show was underhanded jokes and references to Blanche and sex. Anyone who told me they liked that show I would question lol.
I never really watched the golden girls so I had no idea it had that much sexual stuff. That surprises me.
@@shaneandmelody just like with music, many people don't pay attention to the words in sitcoms, it's the actors the like. Trust me, those were 4 dirty old women! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
