- It is almost 2 months since I had my Gastric Bypass surgery and I am experiencing the dreaded stalls. Should I be worried that the scale is not moving down as quickly as I had hoped?
*Gastric Bypass surgery was October 27th, 2022
Yess I feel you I’m 3months post op and have lost 30lbs and nobody notices :( but that’s okay because I notice and feel better and am starting to fit some of my old clothes😊
I love you videos. I watched them all before my surgery and I'm not 6 weeks post op watching them again. 😊
Ive read many times, that despite what you would think, a poached egg goes down easier than scrambled. Maybe try that in your burrito? Do you eat "fake" meats? I know there are sausages and sausage crumbles you could maybe try? Can you make the beef roast into vegetable beef soup? How about yogurt with fruit? Have you just tried meat and cheese and veggies with dip? Maybe rolled up turkey or ham and cubed cheese or sticks and some cucumbers with everything but the bagel seasoning? Ive not been where you are yet, but those are all on my list of things to try when I do get there! lol
Those are some great suggestions! I'll have to give them a try - especially the poached vs. scrambled egg!
Thanks for sharing! I am getting the same procedure In a few months. I know to hear about reality of the weight change. Not everyone drops right away
Its so sweet seeing you happy about almost wearing your size medium sweaters.
I was so excited and looking forward to that milestone!
I'm 5 weeks post I started 303 I'm now 261 it's very frustrating I'm averaging 500 cal per day I struggle with solid protein I can only do about 1.5 ounces of solid protein, I do better with soft protein I blend everything,
I’m so thankful for your videos they are really helpful!
Glad you like them!
I’m on phase 4 and my nutrition told me exact same I’m 1mth po and I’ve lost 22lbs since surgery and protein and calorie intake is very hard especially when you can’t input it in your stomach as before 😂😂
I think you are doing just fine!!
