Very nice backpacking knife. I have been looking for a new one for my bugout bag. This is definitely on the list of possibilities. I really like the kidex sheath. I am a fan of the horizontal scout carry position.
The kydex is really well done on this knife. Secure hold but fast deployment.
Yea, I noticed that it has an authoritative snap closure and deployment. Very nice.

I'd love this, if it had a bigger handle, oh well.
A bigger handle would kind of defeat the purpose of this knife being compact for backpackers. They make plenty of full size knives with larger handles that would probably suit your needs.

Do you realize that a lot of outdoors men have big meaty/beefy hands to the point where short handles like that Bowie becomes more a hindrance than a benefit? I would LOVE to buy this knife...if it had a longer handle while keeping the blade shape, size, and length exactly the same. That is why I empathize with @Burr and his preference.
GPKNIVES I didn't say that the shorter handle is useless in general, just not my cup of tea. I just love the blade shape, dimensions etc.

I did not think you meant to imply that the handle was useless and I do understand how subject knife design can be. A perfect design for me may not work at all for someone else. Simply stating that TOPS makes plenty of knives with full length handles and that this particular one was designed with the purpose of being more compact while offering a full size blade.
