Summary: A vicious corporation tries to kill and starve the last remaining habitants of the Bronx in order to build their own high-rise developments. A lone long-haired, hot-tempered warrior, Trash, is his only obstacle. Trash, a psychopathic bomb-maker and his equally psychopathic preschool son and an annoying activist help him out by kidnapping "the President" (of the corporation), a Richard Dreyfuss look-alike. Henry Silva plays another psychopath, this one on the side of the corporations.

" This is gentrification with extreme prejudice"--Genius remark!!!
"Although this is Italy, leave the Bronx!"
A lot like of it was filmed in NYC and De Paolis studio in Rome.
I live in the Bronx it hasn't changed much from that LOL
Robocop (1987) has some of the best gory deaths on film, like an OCP board member being shot endlessly by ED-209, Clarence Boddicker being stabbed in the throat, and Ronny Cox being shot out a window and somehow growing longer arms.
Umm...this wasn't Robocop or about Robocop. Did I miss something? Probably.
@@rubberneckinc.8937 It was an answer the question posed at the end.
My favorite on screen death was when Charlize Theron gets crushed by the spaceship debris in Prometheus.
...due to her tragic inability to run in any direction but a straight line...
@@parisgreen4600 "RUN TO THE SIDE, YOU IDIOT!"
Someone working in _Kong: Skull Island_ must have also hated that movie.
This is a bit like "Escape from New York" told from the point of view of the criminals.
Violent criminal gangs or corporate dictatorship? Tough choice
Dystopian sh!t, that is all you need to know of this low budget sci-fi of the 1980's
"By the end of the fi--...by the end--... When the dust finally settles..." hilarious!
Talk about a Pyrrhic victory.
Is it just me or does the action look like it’s actually pretty well done for a low (presumably) budget Escape from New York Knock off? Also is that Henry Silva playing the villain?
Yes and yes.
Henry Silva? Thought it had Vic Morrow starring in it.
Any movie with Henry Silva has to be a good movie right? lol
@@nickmitsialis Vic Morrow is in the first film Bronx Warriors. This is the sequel.
@@marcopolio1712 Thanks; I saw bits of this film waaay back in 1982 when I was in college in Greece.
I've got to say, of my favorite film deaths, I've got to go with the Godzilla movies, specifically Col. Goro Gondo in _Godzilla vs Biollante_ and Shindo in _Godzilla vs King Ghidorah_ for the same reason; they're the only humans who die looking Godzilla in the eye. Gondo dies shooting at him as a building collapses on top of him, and Shindo dies in a manner I can only call "suicide by Godzilla"
3:53 -- "Pieces." BAASTAARD!! Lmao!
I think my favourite on-screen death might be from Jason X (a laughably terrible movie by most accounts). Jason plunges a scientist's head into liquid nitrogen then smashes her face onto the countertop, shattering it like glass. Truly gruesome yet delightfully absurd!
It's an under-rated film (note that I didn't say "good"). 😀
Aftermath of COVID-19 after 1 year.
Damn, I've really gotta see the Bronx Warriors films now!
Your best episode yet. Lol. Love that it was actually filmed partly on location. You couldn’t make up that devastation. Lived in the Bronx during those days. Remember it well
Another MST3K classic...
LEAVE THE BRONX!
@@MB-oc1nw Toblerone!
Saw this and its predecessor in the theater during original release. The "audience participation" was better than the films themselves.
this movie needs a reboot
Who was worst , politicians or the gangs? This is dystopian for sure and good material for MST3K.
It was, actually.
they did this in season 7 under the title 'Escape 2000'
the parents had a poster of him on the wall? Seems the Desinfestators scene of them calling to kill the parents wasn't enough to tell the audience that these were the parents.
Never noticed on the MST3K version lol
Was this crap-fest of a film inspired by THE WARRIORS, or by FORT APACHE: The Bronx, or both?
Let me add to that, Escape from New York
Leave the Bronx!! I Repeat, Please Leave the Bronx!!
The door thing at 1:11 is one of the only really 100% accurate things from the Bronx in the 90's. I so like scratching my...well you know. No more than necessary.
Favourite death? David Warner in The Omen. Paneful.
I think The Bronx needs to escape after all that
My favorite moment from this movie (and I haven't seen the clearly gorier non-MST version) is when Lloyd Wrangler (?) drinks his coffee and spits it out. "I told you no sugar! It makes me CRAZY!!"
For a second I thought that this might have been a loose sequel to John Carpenter's Escape from New York, until I remembered that it already had a sequel.
The retired criminal is played by Giancarlo Prete, who was the boring, non-charismatic 'protagonist' of _Warriors of the Wasteland_ aka _The New Barbarians_ -- and his hair looks great in both.
I'm guessing "The Bronx" must be Hollywood slang for "This Mortal Coil", since that's the only thing anyone in this movie seems to be escaping from.
One thing about this movie I don't understand. What is the difference between the President of the US and the President of the DC Corporation?
Man, that actress' voice is grating! I hope her character wasn't a radio or TV reporter.
Do Night of Horror... the lowest rated horror film of the 1980s... and you can immediately see why.
when will the sequel escape from Seattle be out? dont even have to use special effects, just use news footage
Disappointing to see the future has seen no development of better weapons. A flame-thrower? Bullets? Good thing they all forgot about fire and bullet proofing.
Major Arnold Toght from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Need I explain why?
I like how every woman in this movie sounds like they're doing their best Harley Quinn impression.
No, the film isn't all about the deaths - quite clearly it is all about the hair.
My favorite on-screen deaths are probably Glen and the Vesuvius of blood in the original Nightmare on Elm Street, Col. Breen in Five Million Years to Earth (because of the way the scene cuts to his burned body from Quatermass mentioning his name just before the body falls over), and Martin at the end of George Romero's Martin (because…irony).
Favorite on screen deaths are in RoboCop 2 whenever RC shoots a goon and dose something wacky with his left hand.
That one character says that he likes scratching his balls? That can count in some occupational fields as a useful job skill---particularly if you work at any post office.
Bill de Blabbio's NYC
This is a terrible film. If not for dark corners I never would have watched it. 😑
the Bronx Warriors series are legend, And so is Enzo G.Castellari. He needs more praise. Mark Gregory should have had the career or Schwarzenegger. Linguistically i i think they're pretty even. But Mark wins by hair and genuine cro -magnon look. Plus he was the best Adam, sorry Michael Parks.
This is the most hilarious of your videos I’ve watched and they all give me a laugh. This one had me in stitches!
Ok
The disconnect for me was the parents...you won't leave for a fully funded new home in New Mexico..but you'll stay in a graffiti filled wreck of apartment..makes sense
There was some question over the veracity of said promised new home
Han Solo cameo - 2:22 lol
I actually thought theyd shoot the kid at the end because you know, reasons
“They”ve seen me and now I”ve had it!”
I saw this the other day on Amazon Prime. So much action it actually got tedious. All the slow-motion scenes of people flying through the air... so stupid. You gotta laugh in the end.
You ought to review Warriors of the Wasteland/The New Barbarians next. Same director, writers, and actors.
Trash looks like Christian Vander.
The Bronx, Naples.
"Even tho this is Italy Leave the Bronx!!"
Well one thing about it the Bronx should be safe to live in now seems there is nobody left
DARK CORNERS, this film reminds me of CLASS OF 1999 in its dystopian themes and cynicism. Have you reviewed Class of 1999, a pseudo-sequel to CLASS OF 1984?
Great films
Class of 1984 and class of 1999 both Kick-Ass movies
You are very, very funny. Keep it up!
Bronx Warriors came out in 82, not 83.
Thank you
The real stars of this movie were the stunt people!!
They're so desperate to die they are disliking this video.
Faintly remember this one....
Can you look at a Cartoon Show call Inhumanoids??
Lol, yeah I’d like to see that. A little out of character for this show though.
this looks amazing
It’s great fun! For all it’s many _many_ flaws, the action is very exciting and it has a decent pace. Effects… well they’re pretty gruesome but quite ropey-looking now, but honestly it’s part of the charm.
The first film is better though. Definitely better. Lower body-count however, so there are trade-offs 🤣
174 people killed, you say? That's still less than Rambo killed in Rambo III -- we (some friends and I) once started a tally while watching the movie, lost count when we were at about 120, and by the end we estimated it was easily above 200. All of this (of course) to help the good guys -- you know, the Taliban 😂 😆 🤣
Taliban were better at recruitment back then, they got Rambo and Bond to help them.
@@DarkCornersReviews 😂 Nice!
Head smash in Rickio the story of Ricky
LEAVE THE BRONX
LEAVE BRONX, BABY!
LEAVE BRONX!
I like The Trash Trilogy!!!
I watched this on MST3K. Loved it! LOL
PLEASE LEAVE THE BRONX!
This movie out death wish 3's death wish 3.
Is that Mark Ruffalo?
This movie would seem relevant today, because of all the needless violence.
I'm just disappointed that John Carpenter ripped off the basic conceptual set pieces, and characters of this very original film.
Just like right now rejentrefecation 2022
Weird film
Modern Sci Fi is all paranoid leftwing crappola singing the same song: The future is gonna be hell
Ukraine right now.
This is a bad movie and ridiculously bad.
This movie is just... Trash?
Interstellar...that movie nearly killed me...it such a bad movie
No it wasn't. It was a great movie.
