The little cap that fits on top of the USB port for the watch charger is magnetic to the top of the charger for when it is plugged in.

I’m a huge ESR fan. Their stuff, at least the half dozen items I have, feel to be on par with Anker quality, IMO. I’m tempted to get this but what is on my mind now is ESR is releasing their Qi2 charging equipment in the next month or two. That also means the current stuff is being discounted like the model in your video is presently on Amazon.
Food for thought; as an overnight charger for travelling, fast charging (Qi2) is likely not needed and the regular speed equipment will more than suffice.

Im with you on this one. I wanna know if it shows the charging animation or not, you have to put the phone with the screen off not on to get the animation
Whats the difference between magsafe and magnetic?
I'm assuming he means it isn't "made for magsafe". This is absolutely a magsafe charger.
This means this wireless charger will charge iphone at max 7.5 Watt. It is magnetic but it won’t charge at 15 Watt magsafe speed.
You can also confirm this from Esr company.
You know what all these travel chargers miss? They only give you an adaptor that works in one region. Why not include plugs for other countries.
