Oofer Eli all my thoughts. I knew she was gonna land a spot in the finals. My thought was this. It was gonna be fox vs flamingo. Now don’t get me wrong, wayne is a cool dude, got some serious vocals though, however, in my head, flamingo, that would be Adrienne, was the one to be called the winner. That night, we would all come back to either this video, or the video of where she got asked the question of if she was the flamingo or not, and we all would’ve said, the one who hated her voice, is now a champion! I couldn’t wait til the episode on the real where one of the hosts said something like, maybe, “you maybe wondering why there’s an empty chair here. Well, we got a little surprise for you, and she’s walking in here as we speak!” Then probably Lonnie, “here she is, the winner of the mask singer, the flamingo, AKA, our little munchkin, Adrienne!” We all would have been gloating, and celebrating with her. Seriously though, who she thought she fooled? Not her supporters that’s what!

Maybe it will happen someday. It took Tamar over 10 years to produce a solo album after she was able to find her love for singing after her first solo album didn't do so well. I think Tamar is right, Adrienne isn't ready. When Adrienne is able to look past the fear of flopping, and falls in love with singing and feels that magic one gets when singing then she will be able to sing. I know that I'll be buying Adriennes record when it comes out.
Tamera is just so genuinely nice and I can hear the realness when she speaks. She seems to be the kind of woman young girls should look up to and emulate.

I don't think it's impossible to find a recording studio who appreciates a mature singing voice like Adrienne's. I think what she is trying to say is that she doesn't like is that music is all about the industry & business nowadays and not about passion. At least when there was a 3LW, there was no social media. R&B was her groove, she said here. I remember the late 90’s being a golden period for R&B. R&B had come back strong. She, Kiely, and Naturi came in at the last leg of the 90’s I believe. It was just a whole other feeling back then. I don’t feel it now. Not at all. The music today is kind of fun to listen to sometimes but, the overall quality of talent is way under par minus a few, of course.
When Tamera said "what if..." am I the only one who went back to the Cheetah Girl days for a minute? In the last movie Adrienne sang a song called What If by herself and it really relates to this situation. "It's breaking my heart, tearing me apart, it's impossible to choose what if I don't try, what if I do? Everything that I dreamed right in front of me if I win what would I lose? How can I learn to live wondering what if?" In the movie she was talking about taking a role in a film without the other girls but if you hear the song, it really goes hand in hand with this singing situation.
i always cry whenever they cry...but i feel a special connection to tamera and adrienne the most out of the rest of the women because i grew up watching sister sister on the daily and listened to 3lw nonstop in middle school so for adrienne to feel this way breaks my heart. i hope she gets over her fears and releases something some day

It's so very sad to hear that Adrianne is afraid of people not liking the sound of her voice because she dislikes it. I've watched Adrianne's movies and TV shows all the time as a kid. I loved the Cheetah Girls, 3LW, That's So Raven and All You've Got. When one of the judges (I believe it was Jenny) guessed that the Pink Flamingo was Adrianne Bailon for the first time, it immediately clicked in my head and I knew that it was her 100%. I couldn't wait to hear her sing every Wednesday night, I was so happy she was doing something with her singing talent again. I really hope the Pink Flamingo really gave her confidence to go for it. Make a solo album cause you bet I'll be the first in line to buy it!

whew this wiped me OUT hearing Adrienne Bailon speak about her music career. The music industry is REALLY REALLY REALLY tough for women to maneuver and survive through, its always been the case. Tamar came through with that word of encouragement You can't frame your life on what people will think about your career, you have to love your career and be a go getter for yourself . I felt the same way when I was in college, people convinced me to go into computer science and that wasn't where my heart was. I wanted to be a social worker. People frowned at my decision, but it was the best decision of my life to go after MY dreams. Because at the end of the day I refuse to be in a workplace that is satisfying others but is mentally and physically draining me.
I remember when Faith Evans was on here, I left a comment asking why Adrienne never wants to pursue her singing career.Now, I understand her thought process behind it, but I think she should still at least try anyway. TAMAR had the best advice and Adrienne has a beautiful voice. Yet she doesn't have substance to sing about or express in her music. She expresses herself everyday on the show and for her to do music. I think she would need to step back and focus on music and stay away from TV. I feel like you can't do both TV and music, unless your on the Disney channel or Nickelodeon. She should re-record her 3LW hits and do small shows to get her feet wet again in music industry, just to let people know she back.

I don't think it's impossible to find a recording studio who appreciates a mature singing voice like Adrienne's. On the contrary, recording companies would grab her immediately knowing that she already has that experience. And with that she could develop her voice in a different way.
I think what she is trying to say is that she doesn't like is that music is all about the industry & business nowadays and not about passion. In my opinion, there are amazing artists out there but mostly people watch crap.

So before people start to label these artist flops, realize they are being brave enough to chase after their dreams and to continue pushing and living in what they love. That's not a flop. That's why Quality and Quantity are two separate terms, they really aren't interchangeable.

At least when there was a 3LW, there was no social media. R&B was her groove, she said here. I remember the late 90’s being a golden period for R&B. R&B had come back strong. She, Kiely, and Naturi came in at the last leg of the 90’s I believe. It was just a whole other feeling back then. I don’t feel it now. Not at all. The music today is kind of fun to listen to sometimes but, the overall quality of talent is way under par minus a few, of course.

I've watched Adrianne's movies and TV shows all the time as a kid. I loved the Cheetah Girls, 3LW, That's So Raven and All You've Got.
When one of the judges (I believe it was Jenny) guessed that the Pink Flamingo was Adrianne Bailon for the first time, it immediately clicked in my head and I knew that it was her 100%. I couldn't wait to hear her sing every Wednesday night, I was so happy she was doing something with her singing talent again.

and whats crazy is she can sing better than half the so called talent today. I remember when 3lw first came out and I remember the cheetah girls when it first premiered on disney. I have been a fan of hers for years and I always wondered why she never went solo or came out with music later. This was really eye opening!

You can't frame your life on what people will think about your career, you have to love your career and be a go getter for yourself . I felt the same way when I was in college, people convinced me to go into computer science and that wasn't where my heart was. I wanted to be a social worker. People frowned at my decision, but it was the best decision of my life to go after MY dreams. Because at the end of the day I refuse to be in a workplace that is satisfying others but is mentally and physically draining me.

I remember when Faith Evans was on here, I left a comment asking why Adrienne never wants to pursue her singing career.Now, I understand her thought process behind it, but I think she should still at least try anyway. TAMAR had the best advice and Adrienne has a beautiful voice. Yet she doesn't have substance to sing about or express in her music. She expresses herself everyday on the show and for her to do music. I think she would need to step back and focus on music and stay away from TV. I feel like you can't do both TV and music, unless your on the Disney channel or Nickelodeon. She should re-record her 3LW hits and do small shows to get her feet wet again in music industry, just to let people know she back.
