Hi Thanks for your question. Both basecoat qualities are applied in a one visit application (1.5 coats). Standoblue Basecoat is applied with a closed and even first coat achieving 75-80% coverage and finalizing with a uniform effect coat with greater distance to the object. With Standohyd Plus Basecoat the focus is more on the coverage of the first coat and toping up with an effect coat.
Both Standohyd Plus and Standoblue are Premium products offering users excellent results with regard to application, process time and consumption without compromising on colour accuracy. Of the 2 Standoblue is newer.
