Hello i have an SWF t1501 and received a low battery message. I never knew that there was a battery . Do you have any videos on where and how to change the battery? TY Eli
Thanks for the explanation.I have been listening about all the emb machine, and never knew their function. It is nice to figure out what they do. Make emb machine parts’ function guides. If you don’t have the time put them in a recorder and I will type them for you in PDF format. Vilma
Joseph, you make things easy. Great videos. Thank you. Here's my scenario. I have a swf 1502-45. I was ready to a job using both heads. Once I started, head 1 would not do anything. I checked everything. no go. I called my mechanic to explain the problem and he thinks it was the reciprocator. So I checked to see if it was and the reciprocator was intact, no damage. All seems to be in great shape. So now im stuck. Can you give me some ideas what's causing the problem? Thank you Joseph.
Joseph, you installed my machine back in 2011. It has worked great until recently, when the needles stopped moving. Based on the video, I assumed it was the reciprocator. Removed the head and looked at the reciprocator and it looks fine. Watching the machine in action without the covers attached, it looks like the reciprocator isn’t locking on the the needle pins. Any suggestions?
Hey Fulton! If the reciprocator is fine then check your needle bar rubber cushions located on the head, above the 2 black blocks. If they are damaged or missing, your needle bar sits higher which is why the reciprocator will not grab.
Hi I did replace my reciprocator, but after installing the head, it's stitching great. But the problem is the presser foot remains down while working, and it only comes up when changing needles. What might be the problem.
is it the same if the machine has 6 heads or well more than one?, I'm sorry for my grammar I speak spanish and I am learning English. Well anyway, thanks a lot for the video
Hello, so my reciprocator isn’t going all the way up? Could anyone tell me what’s going on? If I move the pulley it will eventually at h and move the needle but then let’s it go and doesn’t move anymore.
what could be the problem with my swf machine if the speed value on the LCD screen is increase but machine is still working at alower speed?and also sometime when it stops the needles don't come up after astop and at the same time it tells you that the the main shaft not at afixed position.does it have anything to do with the encoder.? please to advice..
The Main shaft not at the fixed position means either the encoder needs to be adjusted or replaced, the main motor belt is creased in that position making it hard to stay at the 100 Degrees, or there is something binding the machine preventing it to return back to the home position. The Speed Issue - It all depends on the machine model number. Let me know your full model number and I'll be able to assist further. It seems to be a Software Issue but as I said I will need the model number to help you more.
Thank you Joseph, thank u i actually took your advice and upon checking on the main motor belt ,i notice that one of the bearing on the upper shaft that holds the belt was loose and out of the position..thank you.
Hi Help please, I put the machine on 100* and the needle bar is position 3/4 way down.If I rotate the needle up to normal position it start beeping the is off degre. How or what I can fix this. Thanks
Joseph Park , I have try that no matter what I do the needle go back to same spot . I changed to other needles after it finish sawing stays 3/4 down...
Hi Joseph sorry to bug you. so if i turn the nob to fix position on the needle going up gets to 8* top then going down start at 17* when i get to 100* is 3/4 down. i do the automatic set 100* and nothing it dose the same on all needles.

Miguel Gonzalez move the pulley to 100 degrees. All take up levers should be leveled. Then change to another needle. The needle will rise back up.
