Definitely a Top “Go-to” place. I’ve always liked fighting games but Core-A videos made me love fighting games( and some other UA-camrs as well mostly A Core-A), so this would be great place to go to. I’m trash at fighting games but the community is probably one of the best gaming community’s.
@@z-chan946 nah, I don’t think you have to most to f the other countries learn a bit of English growing up so they are English friendly. Well Japan is anyways I think Korea is similar.

If I had a ton of money, I'd support a lot of content creators that I watch. I am thankful to those richer that support them for me, too because there are people like me who enjoy the free stuff. You shouldn't feel bad if you can't support with money, just talking about a thing you've seen is helping it share it and will eventually reach the people who can support it in a more direct manner.
Now I know where to go if I ever travel to Korea But real talk: that place looks beautiful. If a place like that was near me, I'd be there all day, everyday.
I just want to say thank you for continually showing Melee gear, art, and content throughout all of your videos. I don't know how most of the FGC takes it but it really means a lot to our community and it really warms my heart every time I see it.
My friend you are unbelieveable, it's an honor and a pleasure to even hear about this place being built, let alone the opportunity to go there. Love you dud!
This is legitimately inspiring knowing how you started to where you ended. I’ve been watching since the start of this channel and had no idea this would ever be the end result. Couldn’t be happier for you man, can’t wait to drop by one day
I think that "I went to EVO Japan and defeated the world's best Sailor Moon S players" is both an incredibly awesome and lame achievement all at once 🤣
I think this is the channel i come back to the most to rewatch vids. Keep up the amazing work and i cant wait to go to Seoul to try out the Core A fighting cafe
I used to be over in Korea, and I got a chance to go to the Studio right before the pandemic really hit for a Smash Ultimate tournament, and it was a blast. Beautiful place you all. Sadly, I'm back in the U.S. so I can't go back there, but I really wish I could. Best of luck guys!
This is amazing. I have a similar vision and hope to fulfill it in the future here in Brazil, hope you guys have a great time! So much love for what you guys are doing
Always great to see people's efforts to spread the passion in an area. I had just recently caught wind of a small fighting game scene that was being formed where I live and I've since tried to contribute in the ways I can, whether that be hauling my games and consoles and game copies to meetings or what have you. It's only a very small thing at this stage. For the time being, we effectively just operate out of a youth center and only have the 3 hours before closing time given to us. Corona is a bitch though, so even that little was put the kibosh on for until the end of the year, but I am genuinely excited and willing to help make this a thing. For the one month I was a part of this, we managed to set up a casual Tekken 7 tournament and actually got a 10-man tourney going. It might not be a big event, but it was an awesome night with so much electricity in the air. It was an evening magical enough to want it to thrive, although how much I can actually do by myself is still limited to helping with providing games and consoles.
I have loved your videos from close to the beginning. I am so happy your dream to have your own fighting game locale came true and I wish you all of the best. From Kansas City, MO. with love and appreciation for all you do for the FGC.
Thanks Gerald for all you do and keep up the good work. I live in Tokyo and I've been hoping to travel to South Korea after all the COVID dust settles. I hope to visit your venue when that time comes
Whenever travel restrictions will allow it, this is most def gonna be a place-to-go on my list. Tip: The cafe wall mentioned on 1:55 can be put in display cabinets to reduce collection of dust, its going to be really annoying to dust every single item on there and place it back
Dang, that place looks epic. My local venue, or what was my local venue before COVID happened, had bathrooms that simultaneously looked like a meetup place for drug dealers and the kind of place where people die in horror movies. Honestly, drug dealers probably did meet up there from time to time, and I'm sure at least one person has died in there at some point in time.
Man. I’m like sad but excited I really wanna go to your guys venue. I’ve always wanted to travel and feel at home with a community no matter where you’re from. So this is my year that I’ll visit you guys.
Even though I'll never get to experience this, especially in a place close to home, it's really cool that y'all have been able to make something like this. I love all your contributions to the fighting game community.
Ughhh I studied abroad in Korea in 2012 at 이화 and seeing that the studios are so close by there has me very nostalgic! Hope all goes well with the venue and future content.
If I am ever in South Korea I'm most certainly calling in. I'm sure it's stressful atm with Covid but the future is looking better and to make a living doing something that you love well that's everyone's dream. Good luck Gerald!
I was born in Seoul but moved to America at like 3 months, I've always wanted to go and see where I was born and now I'll get the added bonus of checking out your studio for whenever I eventually get to go! 😁
I do plan on visiting Seoul sometime (planned on 2021, probably 2022 at this point 😞); when I do I'll hopefully be able to visit your venue and show love in person for sure. ♥
I wish I had a place like this near me, you are doing such good for South Korea man, I am so glad you're doing this. I swear I hope it gets so successful you can sell franchises to other FGC nerds like me, I would totally buy one(once I am a millionaire)
OH YEAAHHH!! I just started playing fighting games and also got my first stick! I went to uni in Shinchon and live a 30 min bus trip away! I am definitely going as soon as covid restrictions are down!
This made me really happy, I’m not even good at fighting games but I watch these videos to get a better grasp, real martial arts are easier for me lmao. But the fact y’all got the bread is dope and I’ma have to get to Korea now
Honestly, this seems like a great place to go. The ambiance looks really cool and comfy, and the Fighting Games theme and focus is just perfect. If someday, somehow, I end up in Seoul, I'll definitely go there.
This is very different than the usual core a content, but one of the reasons I like this channel so much is due to its variety. Congrats on the new venue!
If the SC2 scene continues to take hits I hope you guys will be able to offer them some space too- good luck in the future! my post covid korea trip will include here for sure.
you know you've kinda made it when all the big fighting game developers provide the copies for your event/business! Wow this place looks sick no way you look at it. It's easy to tell whoever is behind it is passionate about it. A lot of thought behind it.
I honestly want to go to South Korea to visit this place. Fighting game hangouts are non-existent where I live, so a place this nice, with a low entry fee, ran by my favorite content creator seems like a no-brainer.
