Nice flypen. Solid roof and solid floor makes for a cleaner coop - not a muddy mess when it rains.
I have used a 8 X 4 X 8 loft design for my pigeons over the years because I like to be able to go inside and stand to watch the birds. This 8 X 4 X 4 is great because it is versital for either breeders or young birds. The two buildings make for an ideal pigeon set-up. The added fly pen also enhences this loft.
I have a suggestion for improvements on the small loft, make the rear of coop the boxes for the birds build them on a hinge door type wall to open outward for easy access. When opening have your birds in the screen pen with a cable control door trap to lock them in so you can clean the boxes. Also make the floor craded so the waste goes through a drop trays that slide out from the back for easy cleaning. One more thing is to place bucking bars with a locking door on both fly pens level to floor while keeping pigeons hungry you teach them to trap into a carrier where you have easy access to handle them for separating the cocks from hens ect.. just my observation for improvements being you cannot go into these smaller lofts. Overall it is still a very nice design.👍
Nice one
I am from Milford CT i have same pigeons .They are beautiful Regards
Great video,, my father Van Hilliard, has just been awarded the 2018 #1 World Cup Qualifie Los Angeles ..... He's in hes seventies , a former prostate cancer survvior, and a good man, a bird lover and breeder since his teens. It would be an honor to recognizes him this late in his life as a guest or even an interview., Birds, kits, coops & feed are available
very nice regards from ireland
These r my favourite pigeons beautiful satinettes
CoopCast: I couldn't find any follow up video on your channel showing the completed fly pen and the inside of the 8 x 12. It was not obvious by the titles. Enjoyed this one.
this is awsome
very interesting
the small loft isn't the best for having to catch a bird due to not being able to walk in
nice loft
Would love to know the measurements of the small loft and the aviary attached to it. Thx
nice
I would like to know the measurements of the sides, front and back of the smaller coop. thanks
why does a pigeon coop only has two doors? Because if it had four it would be a sedan. :)
Happy New Year Coop Cast
Question on the 4x8 pigeon Coop
What is the size of the enclosed portion of the coop and the size of the flight pen portion I am interested in building one just like it let me know Thanks Kenny :)
I know this is old but how deep are the shelves in the smaller loft and how big was the door openings? Thanks for your time
Kad si posledni put cistio golubarnik?
@mealy777 pigeons dont lay eggs in the winter unless they have a light on at night
That pigeon coop needs a good cleaning.
the fly pen is an aviary
is it a loft or a coop
good!
lol the pigeon breeding season never ends... every month they lay eggs....
Tensa Zangetsu there is a breeding season if you live in a cold country you breed in winter so they are better for that environment hot then the other way round also racing season dictates it for most racing ppl
Hi guys...
We as pigeon men dont like street pigeons however we lose prized birds often and dont want them to wind up at pigeon shoots run by inbreeds...please help this guy out SHARKonlineorg
hes on youtube..just a thought....keep em flying!!
Not sure how to explain this.I'm building a fly pen. What wire size did you use? Is it 2inchx 4inch?....Thanks
I'd honestly recommend 1/2 X 1/2 19 gauge or higher hardware cloth. That stuff stops any mice or rats from getting in and is strong enough to break a foxes teeth before it would give out. It'll be sure to keep your pigeons nice and safe.

Hey you selling?

Dude...have a heart. REHEARSE your video before you start. Don't keep repeating yourself. Don't fall in love with the sound of your own voice. If you use the word "AGAIN" once more, someone is going to throw their laptop through their TV screen. REHEARSE!!!! lol
