So helpful to watch your process and see how you build the layers. I love the look of layering stamps but often wind up with muddied images. I will definitely try these tips you've shared.
This video changed everything for me with layering stamps. It was totally worth the time to set up the Misti. My birds so far are turning out amazing. I have double vision and my glasses correct this for most visual issues however, you helped me go from a 50/50 chance I would get the stamps to line up properly to closer to 100% every time. Thank you for sharing this tip.
I'm glad it helped! You're right - it does take time to set it up, which is why I usually stamp a bunch of them once I have everything set up. It is worth it for sure!
THANK YOU, Betsy! I LOVED seeing these little birds COME TO LIFE! THANK YOU for your tips & tricks so we can have our little birds come to life too! ;)
Thank you for the tutorial! I love the stamp set! I have used your method of stamping with Distress Oxide. Sometimes I get a weird effect though when I layer two colors on top of each other. Kind of a strange sheen after it dries. Has this ever happened to you? Am I doing something wrong?
The oxides can dry a little differently than dye inks if that's what you're used to. They are mainly pigment ink which has a different look - definitely more opaque. I don't think you're doing anything wrong - it's just a different type of ink.
Fantastic technique! These birds are the most beautiful ever! 💕
You are truly an artist for mixing and applying color. Love the birds. They are the best I've seen in the stamping industry.
Thank you for sharing. I would have never thought to use the dauber so this is a game changer. I just bought this set and I’m so excited to use them.
Super helpful! Now my birds will look great!
So much fun. Love your blending tips.
Thanks for making such a very informative video for us. I just love these birds!
I would have never thought about setting up the stamping like that. Such a fantastic idea! Thank you for this. Those birds are soooo cute.

So very helpful and well done. It's wonderful to see how the subtle color layers create a unique image!
The new lost shadow color would be great for these birds.

Where can I find the video tutorial of how you set up the Misti? You reference it, but doesn't say where it's posted. Thanks

You have a "most popular set" group? Coz I'd figure that was EVERY SET. Every. Single. Set.
Please, please restock the Robin & Wren stamps! Then I’ll be able to justify purchasing all the different branches and flowers and dies!
