Words can not express how much you've motivated me over the years Kevin. You've demonstrated that you can stay ahead of (arguably) more "gifted" cubers just by being more diligent, no one will forget your 6x6 threepeat and you breaking two of the most iconic minute barriers on big cubes. I was just getting into the speedcubing world and beginning to learn full CFOP around the time of your 6x6 1:40.86 record. I remember that was in a compilation of current records of that time. In fact, I went back to that compilation video many times for inspiration/motivation. Continued to follow you, Feliks, and that whole generation for the next 9 years, always taking inspiration and learning more along the way. This era of speedcubing got it's start in that world's comp in 2003 and had a number of years of just figuring out the format and what it was about. Then, your generation is where it really started to come together and get it's stride. You guys set a new standard for the current generation coming up and it's been crazy to watch it all unfold over the past 9 years.
I hope you continue to keep a connection to cubing in some form or another, as a commentator maybe, or even do a comp or two occasionally just for fun.

I don't know why, but this hit me hard. I've been cubing since like 2011, when I was in high school. I never got particularly fast, but I followed the cubing community for much of the past decade, and I remember when you were the dominant big cube solver and you inspired me to focus on 5x5 - 7x7, and now it's all behind us. I'm growing up too fast and seeing you post this makes me super nostalgic and feel like much is left in the past. Anyways, congratulations on the accomplishments and thanks for all the memories following this community. Cheers and best of luck

Wow, this was a throwback. I met you at my first competition, it was Indiana 2015 where you set the 6x6 world record. I was just an annoying little kid with an annoying friend, and you were trying to practice but were still so nice. Thanks for being so welcoming even when I was so annoying.
Even though his life as a professional cuber has ended but I'm sure he will still continue to cube as a hobby while he pursues his career or whatever else he got going on.
