- I bought some refurbished (renewed as amazon calls it) iPhone SEs from Amazon, to see if they're any good and if they're worth the price!

Weird to have the service notice on the 83% SE. It should show "service" once it reach 79%
I think it depends on mAh, not percents.
there are additional issues with red iPhone SE ):
the screws are stripped, meaning at one point in time the iPhone was opened with unofficial tools, also meaning a repair could have also been done with unofficial parts. the screws on the bottom of the iPhone are supposed to be a star shape, but the red iPhone has one screw that almost looks like a circle.
the screws being stripped means Apple will deny any hardware repairs on that iPhone. So if someone went to Apple to get the battery replaced, they would get denied service since that counts as tampering on the iPhone.
Good video. Strange with the premium renewed one. I bought a premium renewed iPhone SE 3rd gen from Amazon last year. It came in the same box you showed, but it was secured nicely in a tight plastic wrap with a cardboard backing. The SIM card removal tool was under the cardboard, so no contact with the phone. Phone was immaculate and battery health was 100%. Still works great a year and a half later. Battery health at 97% now. Keep up the great work 👍

they did it forever, i think everyone who’s been in an apple store or looked at apple’s website probably knows about product red

i bought a refurbished red 64 gb iphone SE 2 as seen in the video and mine was SUPER beat up the screen was covered in scratches and the paint was chipped away at both sides on the phone, along with the back glass also being super beat up

@ it was about 200 dollars from amazon refurbished :/ i probably should have mentioned though that this was in 2022 :p
I have bought refurbished phones from Amazon and I've never had no real problems with him maybe a few times the batteries would have been running down but those have been replaced by their insurance that you could purchase for me it's like they're just brand new I've never had no real problems with any of their secondary phones, the prices have always been good and I can't complain I would make a suggestion to anybody who's looking for one to try and buy one they do have a return thing that you can return them and get your money back.
$100 is not a bad deal for an iPhone for someone's first smartphone or for an Android user that wants to try an iPhone...these iPhones are still perfectly useable in 2024 and even though its suggesting replacing/servicing the battery, its not really needed. my iPhone 8+ is about 85% health and it can still get thru a day. I wouldn't pay the extra for the premium one....just go for the acceptable one...
I had a refurbished iPhone 11 Pro Max from Amazon for about 2 years, just traded it in for my first NEW iPhone lol
most likely the red one was set as acceptable because of the battery health
yep, and replacing these batteries with ones from can be tedious if you don't know what you're doing. Still for 100$ For SE 2nd? That's not bad at all given it it does support ios 18
yeah very interesting I don't think you noticed it that the more expensive iPhone also didn't get as many ads

Only if had bigger screens but apple being apple if had bigger screen all the criticism because of old Design and low battery (because big screen means big body big body means bigger battery )would have been less effective even tough criticism still stays true.
