Looks like a fair amount of discardables left around the position, not super bright. If he was posing as a deer hunting scout, he failed when he pointed the weapon at your recon craft.
AND he's armed with a rifle apparently! Be sure to save that so you can show people why you carry weapons into the field with you!
I'm fairly certain that anyone that has half a brain and can process information properly knows why he carries weapons into the field.
