Awesome stuff, yes, it would be great to see more use of the watercolor markers for things like portraits and landscapes. Excited to see what you have planned next, cheers!
Yay! I love this. I received a set of ten last Christmas, plus I had a grey and I couldn't quite figure out what to do with them. Francoise to the rescue! I've heard other artists talk about their magic for creating backgrounds. Love the playful aspect. 🙂
I love watercolour markers and always want to know more about them. Thank you, I had a great time. I've learned a few useful things. Love how much you managed to do with this little set.=)
@@paintingandchocolate thank you for the thoughtful reply! watercolor markers are really relaxing because there’s almost no cleanup and the colors are great. now i need to grab a set of the better quality markers. i’ll send you the invoice 🙃 going to fan girl out a little more- i love the video where you painted the hummingbird with only watercolor pencils. i’ve been trying to work with them for YEARS. i finally gave away my FULL SET of Albrecht Dürers out of frustration. i’ll never stop being mad at me you are right- almost all tutorials treat watercolor pencils as sort of an afterthought. i watched a tutorial by the woman who literally created and painted the dolphin on the cover of the Inktense 24 set tin. she said she’d never use them that way. THANKS LADY. respect to her of course, she’s a very talented artist all that to say in addition to your technique, your encouragement is a great help. the dipping of the white pencil directly into water is genius
And thank you for all your extra thoughts and indight! It's always interesting to know what others are thinking or going through. I'm sad you gave you watercolor pencils away, these are so nice, but it doesn’t mean you don't end up painting marvelous works with them soon, all while having fun! (That's where I need to keep making those videos and also now, I need to watch Lachri's video that you mentioned! Also maybe need to make a video using just 3 of those because a whole set is not really needed I find 🙂)
Thank you so much for this video. I finally know how to use them and what they can do. I would be very happy to see more videos about these watercolor markers. Do you have something planned in the near future? 🤩
Thank you for posting this. I’ve seen a few review videos here on other channels, who seemed to have no clue how to use these markers and said they were “no good.” They used the wrong paper, didn’t use a pallet, and honestly seemed to have decided they were no good before they had even started. I see a lot of potential in these markers, and I think your video has helped me to see where that potential lays. If you are planning to make another video on these markers, I’d love to see more on how to use them with portraits. 😊
You're welcome, I'm happy you found value in the video. It's likely I'll try a portrait sometime, my next plan is a landscape. These blend so well it makes them easy to use, i'm glad others like you enjoy them!
I use Raphael petit gris mix sizes 3 and 2/0 and the Silverbrush black velvet sizes 4 and 8 the most 🙂 you can find amazon links to those in my videos description, under my kit co store.
Are watercolour markers different to watercolour brush pens? Obviously a different nib, but could I achieve the same effects with my watercolour brush pens?
I didn't find this information on the brand's website or the product itself even though the Amazon description seems to state they are...with that, I can't tell you for sure.

About the backgrounds, I want to experiment with that aspect more!🙂

Thank you, I am glad you found this interesting. I was nervous at first but it turns out they arz very easy to use!
Wow what a great tool. I put in on my list to try in a future.
Yes I think it could be helpful 🙂
i want to steal your hands! i have a set of like 2,000 tombows and you did more with 5. stunning work
Thank you so much! I find knowing other mediums well helpful, most skills could be reused here.

I have been thinking about it because there is little about them 🙂

😮 As always : gorgeous
Thank you!
Remember you can layer the colours to get darker saturations for the light beige for example
Thank you for the tip!🙂 Still new at them, I bet they have a lot to offer and discover still.
Sweet, thank you for this! I really want to learn to work with watercolor & I have markers I clearly did not know how to use haha.
Glad the video helped!
Lindo desenho. Material interessante. ❤
Gracias
What extra do you achieve with markers compared to palette?
You mean watercolor ? I think different feel and easy to carry around and go crazy with lines can be fun.
I just found your channel today! So I am sure that you have answered this hundreds of times, but what brand of brushes do you use most? Thanks!
I use Raphael petit gris mix sizes 3 and 2/0 and the Silverbrush black velvet sizes 4 and 8 the most 🙂 you can find amazon links to those in my videos description, under my kit co store.

I haven't tried yet, so I can't answer this, I'm sorry!
Nice!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
Did you pre-wet the paper?
No, since it's better not to get the nib wet 🙂
Are those markers acid free anyways?

Brilliant! Time to dust off my watercolour markers. Thankyou
You're welcome 🙂
Thanks★
