Thomas, are you using a separate mic to record the beats created off the guitar, I didn't see one, but everything I try that, the recorded sound is very low. I'm using a shure 57 I think. And if you don't mind me asking, how are you getting the clean crisp guitar. Ps. Another cool tune.
Hello Michael, I use no separate microphone to record the guitar percussion. The beats are solely via the pickup in the guitar. I recommend you a quality pickup for your guitar. In addition, a foot switch, with which you can mute the vocal microphone, so that the percussion can be recorded without room reverberation. I hope I could help you. The crisp Sound is creating by DBX 186a :-) So long: Thomas
Thomas Lötzsch Hey Thomas. You allways amaze me and when I need ideas to explore my loopstation I go see your videos :) How does the foot switch mute the vocal microphone? Is the mic even connected to the loopstation? Is it an A/B Switch pedal? I've allways dealed with room reverberation and I don't know a way to mute the mic in an easy way...
miguelconditioning Hello miguelconditioning, I am sorry that I answer you just now , but I was the last week of vacation. So : The microphone is connected to a preamplifier ( DBX 186a ) . From there the signal goes to a foot switch , the expected signal . This foot switch I have a friend who makes handmade , very valuable : facebook.com/somo.pedals?fref=ts The small business of my buddies called " Somo.pedals " and switch costs about . 50 €. Oh yes, from the foot switch, the singing signal then goes to the RC 300. That's all : -) Best regards and many thanks : Thomas
