I did my first solo Disney trip in Jan 2020 and book the little mermaid room for 3 nights. I checked in to find I was given a free upgrade to the lion king suite. It was truly amazing to have that suite all to myself for 3 whole nights!
THAT IS MY ULTIMATE ROOM CHOICE FOR THE ART OF ANIMATION HOTEL!!! I WANNA STAY THERE MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! IM SOOOOOOOOOOO JELLY OF YOU GUYS EVEN MORE THAN I ALREADY WAS!!!😄👍🦁💕

This is my dream hotel and room to stay at in WDW! Lion king is my #1! Omg the image of Simba sleeping on the headboard! Yup, that’s where I would love to sleep because of that!

Literally the best themed suite ever! So glad you guys were upgraded and could experience this awesome room. Stayed here back in 2019 for our first real Disney family trip in ages. The shower sunrise is definitely my favorite part of the suite! Also I need those lamps in my life. Thank you for taking me back to my happy place ❤ y'all
Thank you this was wonderful to watch! I am staying in that room soon with my 2 friends who have a 2 year old. I was hoping its “quiet “ in the hallways and not noisy kids running around? Its crucial we all get our rest/sleep because these rooms are NOT cheap! $460.00 per night! 🙏

This is where my family stayed in December 2018 for our first trip in a decade, when my sister was part of the college program! It's incredible for a group of friends or a family with teens/adults!

Great room tour! Those suites are just awesome! I love the fact that the chairs stack and take up much less room.
We stayed at Art of Animation in 2017 with two of our daughters and their families. All of us had reservations for the Little Mermaid rooms, but one daughter was sprinkled with pixie dust and got an upgrade to a Finding Nemo Suite. The Little Mermaid rooms were fine, but the hike to the buses and lobby was a bit much from that section.
Very nice! I'd still need two suites to fit my whole family. Lol. Big family problems...10 kids soooo yeah. Looks pretty comfy.

I just stayed in one of those suites about two weeks ago with my family but that was my second time in one of those suites. I loved it so much the first time about three years ago that we went back to that one again about two weeks ago. I love arts of animation resort, it’s the best value resort in my opinion.

AOA is my new favorite resort! I stayed there in November . We have a family suite booked for August! I hope we get the Nemo or lion king suite.
I think they should change the sofa/Murphy bed similar to the ones at Riviera. They recently did a refugee and surprised that wasn’t a change.
Thanks for sharing - I love the Lion King theme, very cute! Also, this resort allows you to bring your dog(s), no cats unfortunately :0( I have only stayed at the value resorts in the past but I'm considering this one for my birthday trip in November so I can bring my sweet doggie, Sprinkles!

Hi! I just found y’all’s channel and y’all are amazing!!! My soon to be husband and I are going to Disney for our honeymoon so I will definitely be binge watching all of your vlogs. Any tips for our honeymoon would be appreciated. Also where did you get your awesome travel blankets?
I would also add Disney food blog for information too. Between DFB and the Leffersons you will get all the info you need to plan! Both of those are really informative. I just went a couple weeks ago and couldn’t get enough good information. I’m glad more awareness is coming about this resort, it’s by far my fav and the fact that it’s a value resort and on the skyliner makes it a rare gem. It also has the best food court of all of the value resorts.

This video was so helpful as we’re thinking of booking this for our trip next year. Just a couple of questions, is the table bed a proper mattress or just a thin one like the sofa bed? Also Disney site says it’s a double not a queen as you said, can you (or anyone) confirm please? Thanks
The Murphy Bed that folds down is a proper mattress and it is in fact a double. So for two adults it may be a tad tight but it would work. The bed is still super comfortable :)

Leffersons, Happy Friday, And Yes, 2012 , 16, 19, , we stayed in that suite all 3 times, this room is amazing , we had 4, they fought over the Pull down murphy bed, , the sleeper couch is rough , i had 2 nights on it, not cool, every liitle feauture is amazing, best way to stay as a family, the disney magic is in every corner.. fun as always
We are thinking of splitting our time between both AOA and Fort Wilderness Cabins. Did you like both, is that a good idea or do you prefer one over the other? We haven't stayed on Disney property in over 16yrs! Thanks!
We did stay at the cabins and did some videos about our experiences. So I’d suggest to go back and check those out to get an idea. The biggest downside of the cabins is you have to take a bus to get on a bus to go to anywhere outside of that resort. We love Art of Animation and Pop Century because they are affordable and right on the skyliner, which is an awesome transportation option!

The main lobby building was a 3-5 minute walk. Not far at all.
