Hi everyone, Thank you for your love and support so far. I really appreciate all of you who pop in and watch these videos. I've been getting some backlash about this particular analysis and I thought it would be the right time to explain my intention and give some context behind reviewing this performance of Karsu. 1. Many subscribers DM’d me to react to this moving performance of hers and when I heard her sing, my jaw dropped. I had to add her to the list. 2. I also recognize that it must’ve been incredibly hard for her, as a human, to get on that stage and perform on national TV while she was in deep grief. But I also don’t want to discount what she offered to us, and that was a deeply moving and riveting performance. I know for many, this analysis didn’t need to happen, but I believe that it did because when an artist can tap into their grief and pain, to create masterpieces that connect to and with our humanity- that is a gift. And Karsu has that gift. It’s undeniable. 3. When I react and analyse singers, I never bad mouth or insult their voice or artistry. I celebrate them. And I share what I hear with all of you, so that you can learn to listen deeply and appreciate music from all cultures. 4. This video, and 95% of my videos have a copyright claim on them, which means that I do not monetise from these videos (even though you might be seeing ads, I’m not getting a cut of it). 5. Just because I haven’t shared screenshots of my donations to the Turkish and Syrian earthquakes does not mean that it didn’t happen. I’m not here to publicise how charitable I am. It just doesn’t feel right. I do it from my heart and not for external approval or validation. Maybe some of you were not ready to watch this, and that’s completely fine. But only you are responsible for your feelings. You are a sovereign being who can make the right choice for yourself. So if you are not emotionally ready for this video, then you may click onto the next video. No one is forcing you to stay. And I say this with so much love for you because I created this video for those who have asked for it and want a brief moment to exhale and tap out from the heaviness that life is giving them. I hope I was able to clear up any misunderstandings you may have.
While singing this song, Karsu lost almost 20 members of her family in the earthquake, and she sang this song especially for her lost cousin, in fact, it is an indication of the great suffering she experienced at the end
Thank you for yourreaction. This is a requiem for the lost souls in the last earthquakes in Türkiye. We listened this for out pains nobody is questioning its musical point of view. We are mourning. Thank to her and great neşat ertaş.
Hİİi Scott 16 of Karsu's relatives died in the earthquake in Turkey. That's why we see a really sad, hurt and heartbroken Karsu while singing the song. 💔 In the program where he sang this song, they were collecting aid for Turkey and Syria. Loves from Türkiye.
so, there are still so many things to say about the earthquake that we lived in Turkey, we are still feeling the pain and we will. Music is the best practice to show how we feel and Karsu is doing that proffesional. We are still sad, angry sometimes hopeless. thank you Scott for turning others' gazes here.
Ich danke aufrichtig allen Ländern der Welt, die dazu beigetragen haben, als im Ausland lebende Türken, Japaner, China, Deutschland, Mexiko und viele von ihnen😔💔🇹🇷❤️🩹😔

Dear Scott, I love following your videos but this time this wouldn't the video that is reacted. It's the symbol of incredaible pain of Karsu and all of us . This is not the time to critics, not this video. We lost thousands of people and this song is for them.Sorry but this time taking reaction video for this performance is unpleasant . I think you are not awere of this situation.

Bu performansı ağlamadan izleyemiyorum. Bu tepki videosunda bile duygularıma engel olamadım. Geçmiş olsun hepimize. Başımız sağolsun...
